This is my most favorite video I’ve found lately!!! If you make anymore updates or homeschooling videos, I would be SO GRATEFUL! The procreate to create a coloring page is genius! Could use a tutorial. Also, as a fellow secular homeschooler, I love your literature choices! Could you let me know of your most recommended family read aloud? My kids are all under 10 and I never know where to start, haha! Ugh, seriously! I love your channel! ❤ Also, your homeschool room is GOALS!
I really love this approach and how personalized it is for each of your learners. I think this could work for so many subjects and I may include this note booking/ quick narration recording for history this year! Thank you so much for sharing this!
"And then we watched the movie Carrie..." 😂😂 my mom let me watch Carrie as a 11 year old after I told her TONS of kids at school were talking about it and had seen it and I thought it wasn't going to be that bad, and then I slept with her in her room for like a month 🙃
Love love this video! The amount of work you put into this is impressive. I do several similar but separate parts of what you show but your idea to incorporate them into one literature study is awesome. Taking notes to put ours together the same way. Thank you for sharing in such detail 🙂
Thank you so much! I have been looking at the best way to add literature guides to our day (without having to purchase a bunch) and I really think this is will be a great way for us!
Such a great way to read more books and engage the kids in their learning. I love the flexibility & creativity involved. You are all very generous in your sharing, thank you!
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I love your Lit notebooks! I also knew I was going to watch more of your videos when you said and then you watched the movie Carrie 🤣 so funny. Thanks for making this video.
🤣 You are cracking me up! I thought "wow they watched Carrie!!" 😂 I really love how you show these books! We do copywork for our BYL curriculum and Emily (BYL) chose what the copywork is. I like that you said they have to write something suggnificant about the chapter. That gets them thinking about what they're going to write about. It's true you can find many unit studies for inexpensive or free to go down rabbit holes. thank you for sharing Alex!
This is awesome! I wanted to something for reading to make it easy to track and jot thier responses but was lost on how to set it up. This seems perfect for us! Thank you so much for taking the time to share it :)
This is awesome!!! Can you make available on your TPT those clipart images you found on A Wolf called Wander??? I'm definately going to do this with my 5th grader. Tha is so much for the video!!
🫣 I’ll have to double check my computer,, I honestly don’t think I saved them 😫 ,, If for some reason I find them I will message you back and let you know
This is the exact video I needed to see today 😂 I’ve been looking for some way to do this and we are planning to do lap books in our science and history this upcoming school year so why not for literature too 😄 none of the programs I’m seeing sound like the books will appeal to my 6 year old so I really want to pick our own.
Oh man, how am I just seeing this now!? LOVE this!

Could you look the book report page so I could use it similar for my child ?
BOOK REPORT PAGE by Homeschool Of Bel Air on Teachers Pay Teachers

I'm sending my kids to you. Thanks and you're welcome! LOL
😂
Did you end up finishing or giving up on Lightning Literature?
We never completed it ,, my boys started to get bored with the book selection, that is why we just ended up doing this
Can you link the book report ?
How many chapters do you require Adrian to read each day?
Just 1-2 ,, most of his books only have 10-15 chapters
