9:10 what did the pinks get the moral wound save from for the sacrifice? i know for kairics you can choose shields on the unit you want to sacrifice, but i dont know any mortal protection on the pinks if you hadnt shield fo fate on them? same for the first bolt of tzeentch cast, the angle might be off, but i dont see a clear line of sight from the ogroid to the unit
This was an error, the pink horrors used to have a mortal wound save on their war scroll. This was the first game with the new tome that we played, have since gotten a much better handle on the rules lol.

Fun match-up! Thanks for the bat rep. Couple things for Tzeentch: you don't get +casting bonuses when you use destiny dice. Also, I think in this match-up Tzeentch should have bullied more and moved in aggressively, that puts you in range to unbind the slaan (and you can use destiny dice to forcibly stop comets call and the everblaze comet). Your wizards aren't under threat from shooting b/c they're galletian champs who are right by battleline.
Good call! I have found that taking first and swarming the board is a great way to play tzeentch, because it is soooo hard to clear those horrors off of objectives, and can get your opponent near your kill box faster. They are just a great army with lots of utility
A couple of things you might consider for next time you run tzeentch. You can stack the Acolytes Spell on one unit - won't help against them playing nighthaunt next though! With arcane sacrifice, you can put the mortal wound on the Thaumaturge and then heal him with his spell. You mention at the end you like taking a Lord of change with the rerroll trait - this is actually an Artefact so you can take it with anyway! Hope these tips help.
I apologize for the delayed response, We didnt see your comment until today. I like stacking the Acolyte spell on a big block of them and really doing some damage with that shooting. Interesting paint job on your Lord-Celestant on Stardrake! Very nice The SCE Comet would be great if it costed about a third of what it does now or if at the current cost it pulsed the damage every turn
I have to cheer for my allies, the Stormcast Eternals and absolutely root against the nemesis faction of the Kharadron Overlords, the Disciples of Tzeentch. But DoT is very, very strong right now, so I *do* expect them to win, even if I really don't want them to. Let's see what the dice and decisions determine. Yep. Triple ones to lose the Battle Tactic turned a draw into a loss at the end of the day. Much, much closer than I initially estimated, but my cheering curse rages on. Great Battle Report. I'll rendezvous with you guys at the next battlefield. :P

@@BattleshockWargaming Totally! Rob did a great job on that masterclass for Bunker Buster. I'm trying to figure out if there is a play to replace Fulminators with Vanguard Raptors with Longstrike Bows to maximize turn 1 damage.
We do use terrain rules, but I was giving the pink horrors a ward in error, that was from version 95 of their rules lol, they now have a 5 plus save with a trumpet dude. Good catch!
Really liked the video was a good game. I play tzeetch mostly. Just some rules advise stuff. Arcan sacrifice is in the beginning of the hero face not in the hero phase so you do it wen you do your heroic actions. also dont know how the pinks have a ward. from my view point: casts in the first round of the Ogroid wasn't visible. getting the faith dice is also in the beginning of the hero phase (Kairos).

You forgot about Kairos fateweavers master of magic abillity in the first battleround. Would allowed you to get another 1-2casts off and the associated fate points. Edit: seems like you forgot it all game
The Master of Magic rule is really strong. We just double checked and Karios does all of his casting at 11:04 and we did use the Master of Magic ability to change the lowest d6 to the highest.
I want tzeentch to win but i dont think Host arcanum is gonna do it. I also dont like the cultist compared to tzaangoor. But lets See what Kairos and the Ogroid can do. 🙂. Just nice to see tzeentch Back. The other 2 Games on the Channel with tzeentch we're pretty one sided
Well I am not going to spoil it for you. Comment again when you are done with the report. Tzeentch can really bring the hurt with their mortal wound output.

39:50 i think fate dice are unmodified. So you dont get +1 from Kairos in fate dice
