my only concern going foreward is not about our upcoming opponents its more of our teams performance in adverse weather games this goes back to the bills game last year we need to toughen up in these bad weather situations we need to remember that we called this "Steeler Weather" in our storied legacy so lets get it togeather and lets go steelers
I hope we can just chalk it up to no TJ Watt against the Bills last year and this past week coming off such a physical and emotional game just 3 days prior. I believe in this team to still be able to win. We do gotta see it though.
I live across the river from Aliquippa. My home team (Ambridge) still plays Quip every year as part of what used to be a big rivalry.. I watched Ty Law, Darelle Revis, Jordan Whitehead (Central Valley), and many others play high school ball. And never forget the MANY others around here that were ultra-talented but couldn’t stay out of the streets to realize their dreams
Dale & Matt: Your show is my absolute favorite! One issue though. On your SnR podcast app, Matt’s audio is too low compared to Dale. I can’t hear Matt from the shower man. 😂 Crank it up! Let’s go Steelers!!
Matt, Dale, love the show!, I was thinking about the Steelers being underdogs at Cincy, I think that you could explain it, given that ever since Ben blew his elbow, the team have not being able to demonstrate any kind of consistency to perform above of a mediocre level of performance, and just when you think they might finally do it, losing to 2-win teams happens....again...and again...based on that, the only game going forward that they could be favorites, it's going to be the Browns game at Accrisure...and we all saw how it went a few days ago...
5-0 against teams currently in the playoffs. Only other team that can say that is Detroit. They had won 5 games in a row going into the game against the Browns. I'd say that's consistency.
Dear @@dalelolley4100 , the issue is that in between all of those good things...we lose to Joe Flacco, a decimated Cowboys team at home and a 2-8 team...that is the very definition of inconsistency...again, I do not enjoy this, it's just the way that I can easily make sense on why they are underdogs this week...
Hi Dale! First, I am not saying this is a good idea and I am absolutely nothing more than a fan. Question: What if the team switches up the QB usage. Use Fields between the 20’s and let Wilson specialize in the red zone? Fields proved he can move the ball and chew up the clock. Russ’ history makes me think he should be great in the red zone. Just a weird thought. Have a great Thanksgiving!
I don't see a need to do that at all. They're moving the ball consistently. They were 20 of 42 all of last season. But they had no explosive touchdowns. They' 17 of 42 right now with six games remaining. They're moving the ball fine. And they're getting explosive plays, which they didn't have at all last season. Let's see if playing Cincinnati, which is 31st in red zone defense, helps this week.
@ see what happens when we don’t play a game on the weekend? I get too much time to come up with crazy thoughts! Guess I wouldn’t be a Steelers fan if I didn’t.😂
Fellas, according to a lot of fans who take to social media, everyone needs fired, the season is over, and the sky is falling. Since we lost to a team with a poor record (and no other team ever does apparently) do we just move to draft coverage now? 😂
No. He's been working out. Probably ready to go if they have an injury at ILB. But who are you cutting to activate him? Mark Robinson? He's a core special teams player. Tyler Matakevich? Same thing.
To win big u got think big. Conservative, settling for fgs, while giving up late games tds get u beat 90% of the time. All 3 Steeler L's ended the same way this great overrated D giving up long Td drives, couldn't even force a fgs. Not the formula to win playoffs games. Yeah u win 9,10 and sometimes 11,12 games, but the movie end the same way one and done in the playoffs. This not by chance, this is who this era Steelers is. The qb don't matter the OC don't matter u going to get the same results.
Actually, that was not a "long TD drive" against Cleveland. It was a 45-yard TD drive. And, oh by the way, the other guys get paid too. Sometimes, they make plays.
@@verginithe they scored 18 points the last two games your right. They still won one of them games vs the ravens and that vaunted offense at that I just believe there is still another level to this team we haven’t seen yet play out personally
@@verginithe in these two games I just thought they didn’t finish there drives. nothing I think that can’t be cleaned up and the problems are no we’re near as dire as the lack of offensive problems last year. I just don’t think the team not finishing drives has anything to do with tomlin the decision on when to go for it or not could be up for debate or the play calls over last game but I’m not gonna nit pick a game in the blizzard

Is Cole Holcomb gone forever?

So Cincinnati is worst in red zone you say, what I'm hearing is the steelers won't score now In the red zone, isn't that what always happens
Steelers should be 7pt underdogs this week in cinnci
I feel like we could lose this game bengals are losing extremely close we destroy them as long as we get pressure

You 2 are drunk if you think the steelers will win 4 more games😂
I think your drunk for saying they won’t Lmaooo guess it depends on your point of view
You really think they will win in Cincinnati, Baltimore, Phili and against KC? No way in hell. Steelers score 18pts a game

Instead of moving forward on O after scoring lots prior they revert back to tight-ass football. Tomlin at his best rears its ugly head.
