I only saw this for the first time a few days ago. My whole body went tense, I stopped breathing so I went dizzy, I felt physically sick. When actors can make you feel ill like that, that's when you know it's great acting. Negan makes The Governor look like an amateur.

Just started the walking dead. Love it!! This episode was hard to watch though. I don’t think I have ever sobbed so much for a character like I did for Glenn. I don’t understand how they could killed Glenn. So disappointed. I love his character so much. Glenn and Abraham didn’t deserve to go out this way. This episode really hard to watch.

I only saw this for the first time a few weeks ago. Even going in knowing those 2 die, this scene was so rough for me to watch. It was so disheartening. Everybody was in shock and I was in shock too. Abe said "suck my balls" so it was a little bit of a cushion; I really liked Abe. But Glenn really broke my heart. Being reduced to gore with his head caved in and saying, gurgling, "I'll find you Maggie" broke my heart. I can't even imagine watching this when it first came out and you didn't know who was gonna die. It would have taken my breath away.

That didn't justify the brutal and painful way he killed Abraham and Glenn.
Every viewer hated him during this scene. It was only later that his charisma, humor, and surprising redeeming sense of morality even after he did this, he saved Sasha from rape. Those things made him likable.
