Ive had trouble wrapping string around floppy paper before and kind of came up with a cheat! Take your ruler and use those black paper binder clips to fasten the paper to the ruler. Leave the bit out that needs the string on it of course. The ruler holds the paper a lot stiffer than i can! After wrapping, i put two more tiny clips on either side of the place the bows going to end up. I have arthritis in my hands, so it helps to take the extra gripping needed for this stuff down to the bare minimum! I hope this helps you out some!
Your PPP alternatives are the best on You Tube AND a person can make so many cards. Besides sharing your designs you give lots of helpful tips For the novice. WhenI started in 2015 I struggled because my classes were so advanced and I struggled till I started watching crafters like you that gave such wonderful technics. I love teaching and hope I can give more classes after we come out of this Difficult time. Thanks again. I can
I’m watching again for the second or third time so that I can make the cards and feel comfortable about what I’m doing. I’ve taken notes on the measurements each time, and have a separate list of all your tips and techniques that you share. Thanks so much for all of your time and creativity. I look forward to all of your videos
Thanks, Rachel. I like to wait to see your ideas before I start working on my Paper Pumpkin kit each month! You never disappoint. I hope you and your family are well!
Rachel you amaze me with your ability to stretch out your kits. I made my March cards and mailed them to help brighten up the mood we are going through now. Thank you !!!
Thank you for sharing your creations with this paper pumpkin kit. I love to watch your alternatives, you always do so many great things. Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day and take the Lord with you 😊🤗
Watched the video in the morning. Then made one set of cards in the afternoon. Thanks Rachel, for the ideas and the company. You made the day fun. Hugs
Thank you for all your inspiration. This kit is great, but you made it so worth it with all these ideas. I don’t have the silver cards, but used coordinating card stock and they still look so wonderful.
Great alternatives & how to stretch the cards. I really like your ideas on how to decorate & use the box! All of your ideas are great inspirations! Thanks, Rachel!
Oh Rachel! You did it again...☺️ I love ❤️ this month's Paper Pumpkin kit as is.....but you did an awesome job making them even more beautiful. Thank You.
What a lovely group of alternate ideas for this kit. I will try to think outside of my box and make some of your cards. Thank you for sharing your beautiful works of HE"ART".
As usual your cards and project is awesome. Thanks for making this trying time enjoyable and giving us something to look forward to. Inky hugs, Terry~~
This really is a great kit, and YOUR projects are WONDERFUL! You're so thoughtful. Sending someone a paper hug could lift their spirits, and let them know you care about them. I love your idea to reuse the box. Which of your neighbors will be expecting it at their doorstep??? To seal envelopes, I use an Elmer's Glue Stick. I've always been a bit of a germaphobe.
Rachel- These are great ideas for the kits! This is one of the cutest Paper Pumpkin Kits I have seen. The theme of this adorable kit sure is fitting during these times. Thank you for sharing these ideas with us.
Rachel, I so love the way you stretch these kits! I’m not very good at the fussy cutting. However, practice does make perfect so I’ve heard! Lol Thank you so much for sharing your creations! They’re so yummy 😋
Yay! Thanks Tammy!! I've shared ideas since day one...March 2013. If you visit my website you may find ideas that help you complete some of your past kits (if you have any).
Hi My friend 👋 I love it when you stretch the contents of these wonderful PP Kits 💕 SU is sure going all out and So Are You 🍀 So much love & talents ❤️ Boots are wonderful - different designs, as well as a texture design. The front door Stamp is ever So Great, just as nice as the front doors we have had in a few past Stamp Sets from the Catalogs, and we get the privilege to have it in a PP Kit. WOW, 😳🤗 💕 I'm So sorry to hear about your carpel tunnel, I've had the privilege of growing up with arthritis that I inherited from my grandmother. 🤔😜 Someone once said that I might have carpel tunnel on top of that, due to the fact that I have been involved with keyboards from a very young age - middle school typing. 👏🤗 Don't know if I would know the difference 😉🤦🏼♀️ Very glad you & your family are safe and well. Thank You for sharing your time to provide us with all of these wonderful designs. God Bless you. 🍀🙋🏼♀️ 🙏
Wonderful projects !!!!!! Wish you could give measurements for these little " matchbooks" that would fit one of the little snack size Hershey candy bars... would love to give some for Easter !!! Thanks Rachel.....
Great ideas! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your creativity with this Paper Pumpkin Kit. It's a great Set for the current situation with having to stay at home during the Virus and to make Card's to brighten Someone's day! 🌞🌻🦋💝💝🙏🙏
Great alternatives!! This is by far the best Paper Pumpkin kit I have ever seen. I have been so disappointed in kits of the past that I now avoid them. Certainly wish we had a way of knowing what the kits contain .... better for people like myself that don’t like surprises LOL Love your lifesaver matchbook holders. Just may have to get lifesavers when I pick up prescription tomorrow. Maybe a good idea to make these and take them to our police/firefighters. Who doesn’t like a lifesaver every now and then. Thank you for a great video!
As usual these card ideas are great and “doable”. I especially appreciated the match book candy idea and your suggestion to give them out to service people. Thanks
I chose your designs after scouring the net for ideas with this kit..I love ur soothing voice, giggle n ease in which u teach. I am making all 36, n will send them out this week to family n friends...we raised our kids in Anoka n have soo many friends in Andover. Did u go to AHS? Wondering, as you may have known our kids☺️ We have lived in FL for 20 yrs now. You have a huge FL fan...thank you Rachel💕
I'm so glad you enjoyed my video Nana W! I actually attended Brooklyn Center HS. But my sister lives in Anoka. And my kids attend school there even though we live in Andover. Who knows. We MAY know the same people.
I did this along with you.. well I stopped the video many, many times! My table is much messier than yours now I have done 😂. Thank you once again for sharing your talent!
Really fun and creative ideas, to maximize my PP supplies. It would be nice to have the measurements on your website with the cards, so we don't have to keep searching the video and stopping it again and again if we want to duplicate one of your ideas. But thank you for sharing!
Glad you like the ideas. I wish I had time to write all those out, but I work about 14 hours at this per day as it is. LOL (true story). (In my posts where I share videos with several ideas, you won't see the written measurements.)
I just found your channel and I am totally enjoying this video. This is my first Paper Pumpkin kit. You have given me so many ideas! It is very awesome that we are both Minnasotians. I’m in Owatonna.
As usual you did an amazing alternates. I love the kit and yes it couldn’t of came at a better time but I wasn’t too happy with the cards that were shown on the kit. Just so happens I bought those silver lines cards at Christmas 🎄 time and ran out of to use the. Thank you 😊
There’s a tag/bookmark on the back of the instruction sheet but nowhere are the instructions posted for it. I know what some of the items are but not everything. Any ideas or suggestions?? I love the alternate projects you come up with. Thanks for sharing!! 😊
I'd be happy to chat if you want to call me. But to type up what I think they used would aggravate my carpel tunnel issues. Send me an email with your number if you'd like to chat Brenda. stampyourartout@comcast.net
love these! you didn't give us an measurements like your normally do. i printed a photo of all of them though, and hope i can figure it all out. ;) thanks for always such great inspiration!
Thanks J Michael Cruz! For my Paper Pumpkin videos I usually just share my measurement in the video. Sorry about that...that video has more projects than my Facebook Live recordings. Feel free to email me if you get stuck...stampyourartout@comcast.net
Loved how you made the bunny look stink’n cute! I really didn’t like him but he is a keeper. Loved your cards and projects. I thought the rain looked like it could be used as wood too! I have stamped all of my images but haven’t made any cards yet. I prefer alternatives, must be the rebel in me, ha! Stay healthy and take care. Thank you for your time and talent ❤️🌈✌🏼. No need to respond please.
I love that you tripled this kit. I really love the cards and I thought this kit was perfect for putting a smile on anyone's face during the quarantine period we are all experiencing at this time. Rachel you used the match book technique for nurse gifts when your son broke his arm. I don't know exactly when that was but it was a nautical themed kit about 2 years ago! 🤔

I will trade up for the March (un-opened) Paper Pumpkin for an un-opened bundle "Last a lifetime". Let me know!
I'm sorry Sylvia. I don't buy extras. So I have no March PP kits for you.
