- In today's video I bought a push mower for really cheap because the seller didn't know what was wrong with it or why it kept smoking and having oil come out of it. I gave it a quick oil change, new filter, some new wheels and got it near perfect again and sold it for a nice profit
Always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I sailed aircraft carriers into war a few times. Best feeling in the world was to fix and sell a roadside mower on my days off! What a joy.
That’s awesome. Taking old mowers and learning more about them to fix them I enjoy doing when I can. Hopefully one day I’ll have some more time than I do now to work on them
I generally pull cover off of self propell and clean the grass build-up out, pull wheels and lube axels, front gears for drive or rear. Pull shroud and air wash cooling fins. Other things as needed
I sometimes over look some things but I try to clean things up the best I can for resale
You need to raise the cutting height, then cross cut it. That engine was bogging down too much.
I know, the yard was pretty bad. I don’t usually let it get that bad
