Very nice, Ray! That was a cool tour of the yard. You can’t beat the big EMD’s, for sure. It’s good to get the youngsters involved, I’m sure that she had a fun time. The lash-up that you did is pretty neat. Seeing the big, Conrail units together reminds me of when I ran them, especially before NS took over. I’m sorry that I missed the live stream last night. I was out with family here in Atlantic City and we were out a bit later than planned. Either way, congratulations on the 2K subs, it’s a great milestone for your channel. I think that I’m at 42, so I have a long way to go. Either way, I look forward to your 2K live stream and catching up with you at York. An excellent video, as always.
Well done getting to 2k Ray.👏 Great video of the different engines. Yankees made the American League Championship series I see. I hope the Dodgers can beat the Padres in the deciding game and face the Mets in the NLC series.😊🇬🇧🚂
Ray that little girl of yours has the makings of a fine comedienne! Those looks she gave the camera just cracked me up! "WHAT am I DOING here?" Priceless! Hey, congratulations on closing in on 2,000 subscribers! See, nice guys DO finish first! A very neat trick putting that lash-up together. Luckily I don't have that problem because on MY layout "Steam rules! We don't need no stinkin' lash-ups!" 🤣🤣🤣 It's always fun spending a Friday night with you! Thanks for posting!
Hey Ray, one last thing. I'm getting conflicting signals about when the York UA-cam "Meet n' Greet" is occurring. The official York handbook says Saturday at 11:00 but I keep hearing Friday at 11:00. Any idea as to what's correct? Both agree it's the Verandah Room.
Nice yard video 👍 I seen that lash up video from Rick I tried it would not work for me I didn’t have exact same engine but mostly didn’t have the patience either lol 🤔congrats man on 2000 subscribers 👍
Congrats on 2K subs. I would like to add comments to your Lash-up Hack. It looks as though to me that you simply have both engines running on the same number but not in true lash up mode. For example you can take two Lionel locomotives still set for factory default of engine #1. Then on the Cab 1L or 990 click engine 1 and both will operate at the same time however they are not in lash up mode. I can tell by your example in the video these are not in true lash up mode because the trailing locomotive still has the ditch lights and head lights that come on. Also both horns work. In true Lionel lash up mode only the front locomotive horn will sound. Also on the locomotives in lash up when going forward the front lights and ditch lights will only work on the lead locomotive. When going in reverse only the rear lights on the trailing locomotive will work. Why is a true lash up important? As I taught many others in true lash up the locomotives will properly synch in speeds by reading the RPM tape on the motors in each locomotive so they don't fight each other. One being slower or faster. On another note in the real world of trains it's called MU and not lash up. The word lash up is a word Lionel made up. Anyway always great to see the real trains versus the models.
Congratulations on the 2000!!!!, Finally a hack to sync things with just BT. Going to have to try this trick, We loved the Grzyboskis train store when we stopped in! Amazing people and store!
Congrats Ray on 2k subscribers liked the clips of the yard and thanks for the info on lashup using universal remote

Daughter doesn't look happy! Engine at 1:25 said 2000 HP. Seems funny how some dragsters can have that many horses. All in the gearing I guess.
