Thank you for showing Siena.Leaving the Santorini Island and moving to Itali, you surprise the viewer and show ''one of the most beautiful cities in Italia''. I take pleasure in watching the architecture and the famous cathedral. I am sorry for the rainy weather!
Thank you Big G for a beautiful Saturday night.
High roller Gabriel traveler mode!
Exactly. I make 1/5th of a penny every time Harald says that.
@@GabrielTravelerVideosGabriel I was wondering what you thought of the pizza in Italy compared to the U.S? I’ve heard a lot people say they didn’t like the pizza in Italy! But I was wondering what you thought!
@@reach1898 So far so good, it's been tasty.
@@reach1898 lolll. Americans saying the pizza is better in the US compared to italy is so funny. you're just used to your own shitty version of pizzza, probably full of weird sugars and corn syrup.

Sgraffito, mosaics and marble inlays in the Siena Cathedral, the unusual,green-and-white striped facade is a wonderful experience.Although I visited Siena,I was able to see the cathedral from inside thanks to your video, for which I thank you very much.I wish you happy travels wherever you go.❤
The beauty of this country 😍 🙏
Hi Gabriele, sorry for my English, I always follow your videos which I find splendid because they show what reality is like, I live in central Italy and if I can give you some advice, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Italy is Gubbio not far from Siena, more beautiful than San Gimignano, Spello and all those they usually recommend. If you are in those parts it is definitely worth a visit, hello, one of your fans..
Your English is perfect

Could you please kindly recommend such nice pictures interesting locations as Gubbio in Italy (maybe on Italian islands)? Thanks a lot in advance for an answer!
@@tetianafilatova4277 UA-cam and the internet in general are full of videos or images of Gubbio and beautiful places to see in Italy, if you're looking for something you'll find

Are you easily amazed Lina?

Siena, amazing city as well as the Siena Province and its gorgeous landscapes and medieval towns.
Great video of Sienna, loved the sound of the thunder. Enjoy your travels with your friend.
Beautiful Siena! Wonderful thunderstorm! Hi Ana! Hi Gabriel!....Avg from San Jose Ca.
Beautiful ! 😊❤🇧🇦
Just love Siena and Assisi , are very nice places.
Siena is beautiful! We are in Tuscany as well. Also, one of the oldest banks in the western world is in Siena as well.
In Northern Italy and on that territory, I can recommend San Marino (as a country you haven't seen yet, but for me the most beautiful Italian hill town), Ravenna (amazing mosaics), Verona (amazing amphitheatre), Lago Maggiore (especially Isola Bella), Lago di Como and Cinque Terre (all 5 towns are amazing, but the most Riomaggiore, Vernazza and Manarola in my opinion) although Miramare Palace near Trieste is also amazing and romantic. But as it is Anna's first trip there, I assume that you will also visit Florence, Pisa, Venice, Milan, maybe even Gardaland (if she is an adrenaline lover). Additionally, as she speaks Spanish very well, she can also understand Italian very well and can maybe be a good companion/travel partner to visit more of South America once in future with her.
what I find mindboggingly beautiful in the cathedral is the Piccolomini Library, frescoed by Pinturicchio and helpers, including a certain Raffaello. It's truly a surprise especially if you don't know what you're going to experience. The (ancient, now a museum) town hospital was one of the first civil ones, and the frescoes there are interesting too, with depictions of how the town saw herself, sometimes vs the Church. For some reason, Siena has always been quite dear and familiar to me since the first time I visited, decades ago (italian here). I hope it doesn't become too visited by tourists, so that I can continue to periodically go there, experience the charming behavior of the locals (both reserved proud and very friendly and helpful, difficult to explain) and the local pastry (medieval as well, inspired from Arabic pastry of that time, too)
When I visited Italy I thought one of the most impressive places I visited was Florence , the churches and surrounding alleyways were truly amazing.
I can't disagree: ua-cam.com/video/nlWU_vwiMD4/v-deo.html
Thank you for this video!!
OMG! Wow! That cathedral was absolutely beautiful!! Truly stunning!!!! Thank you SO much for sharing that. The thunderstorm that followed was an added bonus. Loved the sounds. ⚡️☔️⚡️

Thank you Gabriel, for another wonderful video! It’s fun that Anna is traveling with you for a while! She is so chill and lovely! When I used to travel alone, I’d get pretty lonely for a friend’s company, but then I’d meet up with a new or old friend. It enhanced my long trips. Many thanks for taking us along! Jul and family ❤

Was in Siena Firenza Pisa in 1997. Stayed in Florence in a hostel on the street across from the train station. On the backside of that area. Had macaroni and cheese which was macroni with gorgonzola cheese. Was good
Siena is really a very nice town and Tuscany is surely an amazing region, nice video. This town was always one of favourite cities of Rick Steves. Nice to hear that you are planning to go to Austria and Slovakia until June 20nd flights, to see some mountains, too. As this time the path is going through Northern Italy, maybe the best way could be San Marino-Ravenna-Venice-Dolomites-Grossglockner High Alpine Road-Hallstatt-Bojnice-Čičmany-Slovakian High Tatras (Tatranska Lomnica).
Gabe's wife made him go to Italy haha
I’ll be there in September really excited looks beautiful
Hi Gabriel, what a beautiful city with a lot to offer. The first thing I noticed is how it is structured. The city the streets and they have beautiful modern shops and stores it's a very well organized city. The church was spectacular there's so much within Italy and you have artists like Raphael and Michelangelo and Titian. I'm glad to see you going to do a trip around the United States because I think it's underserved on the channel even though I know you mentioned that the views on that don't get seen you know don't get viewed a lot but I think the United States gets underserved because most people just think about major cities in the United States and not the countries beauty which are the incredible mountains and countryside and things that people sometimes don't get to see in the media.
Great observation. Siena always felt much better designed overall than Florence, but of course Florence gets the credit for being the Renaissance city as it should of course.
Hi Gabe loving the video on Siena it's a beautiful city I'm off to Mallorca and Spain next week may do some hiking and sight seeing happy days😊
Hoping to see some blue skies and sun 🌞 . 😊
Come to Bergamo and Brescia and the mountains and lakes nearby 😊

Check out lake Garda and especially Riva del Garda if you can
Another Awesome Adventure Thank You Gabriel 🙂❤👍
Great video. I was in Siena in August 2022, really enjoyed my 3 days there. Highly recommend Osteria Bazabuf ristorante. Food and ambience was fantastic at the right price point.
Italy has so many ancient buildings much more than what the UK has got. Here we keep on demolishing the old to build the new in quite a few areas.
Saw a video about the Palio in Siena. It inspired me to visit the city while in Italy, Loved it. Wish I could have been there for the running of the Palio.
A large part of one of my favorite two-book series takes place in Siena.
That's awesome. Thanks for sharing that information.
Gabe, isn't it cheaper to do your dental in Spain or Germany? What I've heard it's differing a lot, of course depending on what you will do! I know an American who had some teeth removed (wisdom teeth/molar) in Sweden because it was so much cheaper than in the US, and dental in Sweden are not cheap! It can differ thousands of $!
One Eight the price in Thailand in Professionally run International Dental Clinics 👌👌
Did you go to Italy straight from Greece if not where did you go straight after Greece
Direct flight from Santorini to Rome.

If you're headed north, you should definitely check out the Basilica of San Vitale in Ravenna. It is one of the most beautiful examples of Byzantine mosaic art in all of Italia!
One place that rivals Siena for beauty is Gdansk in Poland. I really recommend you go there one day; it's truly an enchanting place.

The huge image on the floor at the cathedral’s entrance is a scene with Hermes Trismegistus. There’s a whole story around that.

Enough about Greece, it's starting to get boring 🥱
@@wilsilva7860 Agreed
@@wilsilva7860 I was just having fun with Gabriel. Of course he would move on to other countries. BUT, Greece is never boring!
I've often wondered why squares in Europe and elsewhere have no seating and no trees. Don't exactly seem attractive places to lounge.
Many town squares in Europe are traditionally used as market squares or for large gatherings, not for lounging. Especially the Piazza del Campo is so beautiful and so impressive in its vastness that any kind of seating or trees would only take away from that.
From Israel I was in Italy twice in
1985 and 1997. Venice Firenze pisa Rome san Geminiani and
Napoly with avosit to capry Island.
Of course Firenze is the winner

Hi. Gabriel. I dont know if u have heard. But one of our english doctors.. has died in greece. Is it possible to get lost and maybe pass out on a walk which is rocky etc. Do u know of the area whrre he went walking. Apparently the greek government tells people not to walk there. We thought he woukd be found alive. Not sure what happened. He didnt tske his phone with him either. That isnt good is it. What is the place like do u know. I know u visit greece often. And walk etc. It is very sad
Yes, I saw the news, very sad. I've been to that island but don't know about the hike that he did. Very strange that he tried to do what sounded like a big hike with no cell phone and maybe with no water or food either.
Hopefully, next visit to Macedonia and few Eastern European countries.
