I mean everyone has an opinion, but that high note is only an F#, so if a female were to sing that they probably wouldn’t need to belt it seeing as it’s a lower note for them.

omg same! If the song were a key lower when Idina sings it, I'd be fine. But she really loves to belt out that note that just at the edge or one over my breaking point between my chest and falsetto.

While you may have been sick and not have a full voice, I want to thank you for belting the 3rd 'Into the Unknowns'. That interval leap is an octave leap and you made it sound with ease! That is not an easy interval to sing fluidly and with ease. With you not having a full voice is still impressive!

For a man it sounds much better 1 octave down than Urie's version, which sounds like a castrato/not-enough-male version.
