When we saw them perform this in Noblesville and the crowd popped when we all realized that we were getting all three verses was the first time I knew that everyone felt the same way I did. This is by far my favorite DMB song and I never realized that anyone other than me was craving the original version with all three verses.
I may have only been a fan for 10 or so years but grey street was the reason I became a fan! I had been waiting for so long to have the 3rd verse. It’s my favorite dmb tune!!!
Where’s Dave’s Guitar?!!? Let’s not get silly here - I’m not criticizing anybody/anything… but it sounds like the high hat is at 10, the rest of the kit is at 3, horns at 2, and everything else 0. Maybe just an odd spot acoustically or the way the mic is recording? Did it sounds like a typical show in person?
Sitting up close to the stage you probably only get the bottom of the array speakers pointing at you and that's all treble frequencies like the hi-hat snare, and horns! But I think most of the horn sound in this is just from being close up. I have no doubt the better mix is out there somewhere or will be soon..
@@kevinfurr3311 that’s not a reason to pick up some sound and not others. I’m not critiquing the quality of the recording. I’m curious if the mix sounded the same in person.
That's the range of frequencies the mic on the phone is picking up, not the sound mix. You can't hear Tim either, you can barely hear Buddy and Jeff, and what you can hear of Buddy and Stefan is a muddy mess (and Stefan's playing is usually crystal clear in the mix). Wait until there's some quality audience recordings uploaded, I'm sure the sound was fine.
DMB fans are so god damn sensitive. You can’t have a conversation about the show or the music. Everything is EPIC, OMG. My wife is a die hard and said, the show was ok. Pretty safe set list. She felt like Reynolds had an off night. Love her passion for DMB but love her objectivity as well.
Weeping tears of joy at this…all over again! ❤️
Thank you. Amazing Video. So incredible to have the 3rd verse back!

Many thanks Andy from 🇵🇹, is great to have a glimpse of it!
Thanks so much for recording this stuff. I hope you were able to enjoy it yourself.
Was so much fun. Long overdue but had a blast. We were part of something special, I truly believe.
2:30 when the crowd realizes it
I saw that
Tears were streaming when I heard that from the lawn.
Thank God they’re back!!!
Andy Mendoza! Thank you for this!
The cool thing is that you can see Tim as soon as the 3rd verse start up react to the fans reaction.

Love you all. The 2nd part left a bit much to be desired. This isn’t my first show.

@@MusicianReactions It was broadcast on sirius xm so theres definitely a better mix - copperpot added it to his video of the new song.

Raleigh was a lot of fun, but rough. Charlotte was much tighter to me, but the whole weekend overall was wonderful.
Coming from a phish fan......hilarious
Better set on Saturday imo
@@zachgalante3577 meh 6 songs off big whiskey is way to many.
After the first 6 songs I thought I was in line for a all time great concert of over a hundred. It faded out, imo
