I love these adorable birds. They have been in my yard all winter however I cant remember if they stay all year. Lately I have seen them in huge flocks. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
I live in the S. Oregon Cascade foothills and the DEJ's are my road condition indicators. Around here they are permanent but migrate altitudinally. When they show up at my house in fall I know the road to my favorite mountain lake is impassible. When they leave in early spring I grab my fishing pole...
Activity at my feeders was booming for the past two weeks. But i have noticed a slow decrease this week. I didnt know if it was migration or the fact that the environment was starting to come alive. With a daytime temperature creeping up to the high 60s. It had me wanting to put out my hummingbird feeder and jelly feeder
Wish hope they stay why do they live I live in NE PA new to feeding birds started last spring and this winter met them by my husband saying awe seen this bird like them so looked and read it was these where would they go? Saw them a couple days ago freezing here today snow flurries yesterday
Most of these birds nest near the top of the world, with a few nesting in higher elevations like in mountainous regions. There are some that nest in higher elevation areas of northern PA each year.
Fantastic information, as always! Thank you, Mark!
Thank you for watching.
Thanks, Mark, for the always entertaining and informative program.

Awe my husband loves these
Here in New Jersey, our Sapsuckers are here year-round 🥰
Its always so cool to see the harbingers of winter: Juncos and White-Throated Sparrows 😆
Nice. Wish they nested here.
It’s almost hummingbird time 🤩
Getting really close for you guys
We are north of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and yes we had many juncos here for several days this spring. They have all continued their journey now.
You are up there for sure. Thanks for that update.
>thank you.👍
I LOVE the juncos in my yard, such elegant pretty birds. They look like an artist painted them with water color 🥰🥰🥰
I love them.
They could stay all year and I wouldn’t mind a bit!

Oh wow! Maybe ready to head north then.
I have not had any Juncos in my feeders but had lots of white crown sparrows here in Southern California.
They are the winter sparrow in your part of the world.
We have lots of juncos year round, here in Western Washington (Seattle area).
Lucky

Hi from South Texas.
Hi 👋

Still early for most of us.
Still a couple of Juncos hanging out here in southern WV in my yard.
I haven't been seeing any Juncos at my house yet. I'm in Central New York
They’re still hanging out in my front yard, Fayetteville Arkansas
May be seeing some on the way back north.
