I loved this dog so much. I thank Sherpa and Jamie for taking me to all the places I’ve always wanted to go and probably will never make it to. My heart goes out to you Jamie. There is never enough time to spend with those we love the most. ❤❤
Going back and watching the old videos does make me smile as Sherpa was so happy. We can hear his howls again. I do miss him but am glad these videos remain.

Perhaps it's my imagination but Sherpa seemed to love Scotland more than any other place he roamed. I believe Jamie plans to put most of his ashes in a special urn; but I think it would be wonderful if he saved a small amount to leave in Sherpa's favorite area in Scotland. Although I think it would very hard for Jamie to return to those places without him. They both truly enjoyed being there.
Sherpa was acting like a puppy. That snow makes him feel like a kid. Pooped pup at the end.

The breeder commented that I had let my Norwegian Elkhound (very similar heavy double coat. similar color to Sherp) get fat, but when she felt through the fluff she felt his ribs and said he was just right.
Northern breeds are the best!
The last time we had snow in Atlanta I still had Dash's great-great grandmother along with him as a puppy, and they had a ball in the light dusting.
He was definitely a puppy again today, a really fluffy puppy....! What a beautiful place for a hike. Truly amazing.

I know right, that was my first thought! Do you know how to tell the difference between a Husky and Malamute? I think Malamutes are taller? But some Husky dogs are really long in length.
