I found a very young fledgling yesterday when my cat dragged the poor thing in. Its now proudly known as potato, cannot fly, loves jumping from any hight and is a sweetheart. Potato chills in the hood of a hoodie i wear backwards and watches me do stuff.
I have a cutie like that too, he is over 2 months old now. My granny found him after the dog ripped his backskin off. He grew feathers on his spine line since then, but the rest of his back is still bald. He still has scars and poorly feathered spots from the bite, and major trust issues due to the trauma. He is heavily imprinted on me, cries and chirps loudly if I leave him alone for too long, but is terrified of every other person. I don't even have to speak, he recognizes the shape of my hands and can spot me from a distance, seeing the ways I move. He likes playing finger-chase , is crazy about smartphones and can sleep in my palm for hours, which is the only occasion he likes to be pet. If I don't pay attention to him, he wildly pecks my lips and the back of my hand, stopping when he gets it. Sometimes, he tries to mimic human speech, and somehow managed to say out his name. We made up our own language, and can actually communicate. Chirpie is definitely one of the weirdest pets one can end up having.
Dont pick them up in grass ect if in danger concrete area save them if u know other birds kill them i saved my sparrow from dangerous road 4 months ago you done good job also please do not release them they depend on us my bird naturally flys to me good luck good job
My dog was running after the sparrow we found. I heard bird sound but didn't found the bird the next day my grandma found in the turtle tank the turtles bight her/him also but now she's safe
My husband brought one w a hurt wing home and we tried to save and keep it but we weren’t able to and we just burried “her” 💔💔💔 ... never knew if it was a boy or girl but I just miss them so much already I wish I could start the day over and try again. She died in my hand and I killed her RIP our little baby we miss you so much 😭😔😞 she was so full of life and then she just started dying not sure if it was from the bath we gave her or what but if you find a sparrow or baby bird don’t bathe it at least not for a few weeks. Wishing long life and health to all adopted baby sparrows 🙏🏻🐧🤍
Ow, so cute but so difficult to raise.. I also had one little sparrow.. he's no longer a little, he's now a big beautiful adult!! I found him when he was without feathers and I had to spend my whole day with him during two weeks. It was so difficult but he deserves it, he's now like a dog hahaha. I've had Lemon for a long time and yes even outside she wont fly away. at the moment she lives outside but she visits every day.
