Did you remember to wash the fruit before eating? If your tree grows anywhere any road, I would advice against eating skin.

I did thoroughly ;o;
I even cut out anything that looked mildly suspicious
My going theory is that pesticides got into the tree cause there's pest control people spray the yard a bunch :,0

@@Cosmine Oh dear, it sounds as this is what happened. My dad picks all slugs and other pests manually by hand in order to avoid situations like this. Our garden is really small so it's doable.
