Very interesting, I do believe there is funding for electric boilers. I did the training years ago on the Tepeo boiler, good alternative if you can’t or don’t want a heat pump. Basically a heat sink very reliable no moving parts and silent.
@@electrician247 Thank you for responding. My Installer is very experienced like yourself, love the content by the way, excellent. But he/we are having issues with my SMA inverter shutting down with the PE fault encountered on other inverters. Getting help from either company is like pulling teeth, so he is trying to find out the issue. I have watched many of your videos and you seem a genuine person and a good spark. I have seen you comment on the earth fault on other videos. Cheers
@Themiddleagedman53 yes that's an issue to resolve in your SMA inverter. If it's an older varient you will probably be out of luck. Also ensure your installer asked GE to activate the neutral earth bond as that can only be done by them. Installers have no access to it. Sometimes it's due to that. EPS should not be enabled without an earth electrode on the system. your installer will be able to advise on the EPS. It depends how they have configured the setup
@@electrician247 Thanks I will ask him. No it’s a brand new Sunny boy 4.0 which is picking up everything and sending loads of error codes about everything, when we go into back up mode.He is talking to Give and SMA about things. Thank you very much for trying to help, it is very much appreciated.
If you have an AIO & gateway fitted but not solar or other means of generation fitted, can you export any surplus from the battery to the grid when demand on the grid is high?
Octopus energy say they need an mcs certificate number but givenery say the AIO is not generating power so does not have an mcs certificate? Where do you go from here?
@@keith8443 speak to your installer it should have a G99 or potentially G98 if you got the 3.68kW AIO. Either way both can and should be notified to MCS. We do that on all solar and/or battery systems. Who installed yours?
I prefer it tbh. Keeps the engineering on show. To much of wanting to put all the cool stuff in cupboards. Although my plan to put one in the front room didnt pass the wife test sadly.

Fantastic as ever 🤔😎
Interesting installation Mark, hoping to bump into you tomorrow.
Looks interesting be good to have some guide to cost of equipment and installation.
way to varied from installation to installation.
what brand / size is the SWA? looks pretty flexible
The main swa is 25mm 5 core. The smaller cables are H07 not SWA. 6mm
Hi mark, sorry yes the 5 core swa, what manufacturer? It looks pretty flexible for a 5 core 25mm. Great video
@@ryanpestell529 tbh I can't remember but suspect it will be either donny or Cleveland
Please could you help? Should the gateway on the GivEnergy All in one , EPS be switched on, in the gateway portal? Thanks
Depends if your installer set your system up for island mode.

the only thing i dont like with all inverter equipment is all the stuffing glands it makes the install look cheap. Why cant there be a box to cover.
