He lied about scrapping the F-35. He lied about attacking climate change and bankrolled the LNG pipeline system in BC.). The problem with our politics in general is that we as human beings (both Liberal and Conservative) have turned it into a moral issue instead of something that should be pragmatic. For instance, if a party is elected and does a great job with the country, we continue to re-elect them. If they don't we elect another party, regardless if that party is the Liberal or Conservative party. Sadly I don't see that in Canada now in 2024. People will vote not because they agree with that party, but because they don't want the other party to win, because they believe the other party are the "bad guys". This is so stupid to me. There are reasons why Trudeau is not doing so well atm, one of them being that we are tired of him. And yet, most of you will still plan to vote for him again. That is insane, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. That is what I see delusional liberals doing. The problem with our politics in general is that we as human beings (both Liberal and Conservative) have turned it into a moral issue instead of something that should be pragmatic. For instance, if a party is elected and does a great job with the country, we continue to re-elect them. If they don't we elect another party, regardless if that party is the Liberal or Conservative party.
Sadly I don't see that in Canada now in 2024. People will vote not because they agree with that party, but because they don't want the other party to win, because they believe the other party are the "bad guys". This is so stupid to me.
There are reasons why Trudeau is not doing so well atm, one of them being that we are tired of him. And yet, most of you will still plan to vote for him again. That is insane, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. That is what I see delusional liberals doing.
Pierre Poilievre is not perfect, in fact he is the lesser evil compared to Trudeau, but we as Canadians (both left and right) should at least take a chance on him, see what he MIGHT do in the future (if he is elected in 2025).
