China using gun powder for abt 400 years for firework.
The west: 💀💀💀💀💀💀
*invents the compass - doesn’t explore the ocean
* invents the printing press - just makes copies of old literature
Ancient Chinese alchemists accidentally discovered gun powder and they used it in ceremonies to scare away evil spirits. The West wrote world history with it! 👍🏻

-Dynamite by itself is not a weapon, it is just explosive.
-Bullets are ammunition, not weapon.
-Little Willie was not even remotely a modern tank, it lacks a turret and has different suspension.
-Katyusha was not a missile, it was a rocket (because it was unguided). It should be classified as first MLRS.
-V2 was not even remotely ICBM, not even close to be intercontinental. It couldn't even reach London when fired from Germany.
-Tsar bomba was technically from Soviet Union, not really Russia.
-First UAVs were remotely controlled B-17 bombers. However they were only partially unmanned (required crew to start engines and takeoff).
also to add: the revolver wasnt invented by colt nor was it invented in 1836. it was actually invented by a guy named samuel pauly from switzerland who also invented the centerfire brass cartridge. cant find a year where he made his patent but forgotten weapons has a vid on it.
Not sure about that UAV, FW-190 had wersion with attached other plane, that was used as suicide bomber, but pilot was in fighter. Both inventions are from WW2, which was first?
🤓
@@hvnterblack actually that one doesnt count because the mistel bomb was unguinded on final aproach. but it was actually controlled by the mother ship during the flight.

The Greeks invented the Flamethrower first it was called "Greek Fire"
Didn't work as well as modern ones though
@@drwaffle5754 obviously not but it had its uses
Greek Fire had been lost for centuries
Greek fire was a fire that would burn no matter of what. Its just not a "flamethrower". It's just a even if not a ordinary, fire.

1:21 Gases like chlorine gas and their toxicity had been known since early 1800. Fritz Haber only had the idea of mass producing them and taking them to the WWI front and that was not in 1894 but in 1914
He started the Toxic gas project in 1894 it became successful in 1914
@dataillusion
But it's not true. If it was, how on earth would you even be alive?
I would argue that dynamite isn't a weapon but an explosive. Weapons technically are devices.
I think Explosives are also a type of weapon
Explosive Weapons
Samsung tanks especially
@@dataillusion Explosives may be a part of weapon, not really weapon by itself (without any way to initiate them they are totally useless in combat).
Anything can be a weapon, just some are specified to be weapons, explosives would be one of those inventions if you are talking about certain types.
I love the juxtaposition of going from a nuke to a taser and then from the tsar bomb to an airsoft gun
Regarding Tsar-Bomb:
1. It's Sakharov, not Bakharov
2. Lead scientist who developed it, was Kurchatov.
Also, one of Bazooka developer was Robert Goddard
Thanks you for the info
@dataillusion in addition:
1.Real name of Katyusha is BM-13
2. There was another atomic bomb, tested near Los Alamos
First assault rifle Created in 1916 and the assault rifle was called "Avtomat fedorova"
Predecessor to the modern assault rifle since the fedorov avtomat used the full sized caliber 6.5x50 Arisaka so it can’t completely fill the role of an assault rifle. It probably would’ve been closer to the role of the BAR as a automatic rifle instead.
I though the first one was chauchat
@@BobbyLovesOranges that’s an lmg
@@crystalmath4145 oh k i forgor
That is just an automatic rifle, like the Madsen, Chauchat or the BAR.
Fedorov himself on his notes on the few prototypes he tryed on WW1 wrote it was best fitted to be used same as the Chauchat due to how hard was to control it on close combat with the full automatic fire enabled, he wrote the best use his gun can get was to set on the edge of a trench and open fire to large concentrations of incoming troops during enemy's trench raids, hoping some of the bullets hits something, just like the Chauchat, Lewis or Madsen on that time, but with even less control due the rifle being lighter but still firing full powered rifle cartridges.
PD; Even Fedorov himself also wrote his intentions of naming his gun something like "Lighter hand machine gun" in russian, maybe that's why very few were made, and production ended just on time from when they got an actual useful light machine gun (and useful gun, cuz the Fedorov Avtomat was incredibly messy due to the already deadend mechanism it employed, while the DP-28 had gas-operated system like the BAR or the Lewis, and a huge pan of rounds, making it useful, unlike the Fedorov)
03:04 bit rich giving the credit to Oppenheimer when he was one of hundreds who worked on it
Edward teller and oleg alexandrovich lavrentiev nothing?
The First Assault Rifle Should Have Been the Fedorov Avtomat
it is a rifle but it uses arisaka cardridge ( a bolt action rifle ) but the other gun uses a 9x19 bullet so technically the first fully assault rifle is the mp18
To be historic accurate you used the wrong German flag ;-)

Where is the first fighter plane? (Not jet)
1:38 He was born on April 24, 1908, and died On December 14, 1974, he lived at the age of 66.
They invented Landmines ,Submarines and Torpedoes before inventing Dynamites 💀
Edward Uhl lived till 2018? He was 100 years old then! That’s pretty damn impressive!😮
The first submarine was invented By Jeronimo de Ayanz some years before Cornelis. It was quite different but it worked as an underwater boat. Jeronimo died in 1613 and i think he presented the invention in 1602 to Felipe II in the Pisuerga river, besides the "submarine" he presented some underwater breathing equipment. He was one of the greatest inventors but is shadowed as almost every part of the History of Spain
I think you meant the divers bell
@@SadCatStudio. No, an actual vessel that worked and moved underwater. Its not like the divers bell. You can find the blueprints and the information of the inventions online.
@@Xiodeminsa k, but I’m Dutch and extremely biased

Also, who invented the molotov cocktail, an effective weapon used to great effect against tanks with open hatches by the partisans in the second world War.

As someone who played Assassin's Creed II, I'm intimately familiar with the colossal fuck-up that was Da Vinci's armored "vehicle".
Each of these guys has a million kill assist 👀👀👀
Expect a Japanese guy who has 0 K/D ratio
Lol. Interesting take. But true.
Although, AK-47 is a merely an assault rifle, i think it was crucial to show Mikhail Kalashnikov, as that rifle changed the warfare.
It's sad that the machine gun was made to offer less casualties (on the side which was shooting it)
The inventor of the first submarine was Isac peral.
And they named the peralscope after him.
V2 isn't an icbm
“Little willie” 😂🤣😂🤣😂
3:46 AIRSOFT GUNS WERE INVENTED IN 1970!?!? Tbh I don't really think airsoft guns count as weapons but I thought airsoft was maybe like invented in 2010 atleast or something
They are old, airsoft guns can kill if not used properly
Stationed in Japan in the early 90's and airsoft was everywhere.
Anything can be a weapon, if it can kill, it can be considered weaponry. And yes air soft can kill
What about Igor Sikorsky, inventor of the helicopter?
Gonna include him in part 2
Sikorsky made first mass-produced helicopter, but he wasn't it's inventor
Helicopter is not a weapon
Two errors: 1. The illustration used for the submarine was the Turtle, built in 1775 by American David Bushnell. 2. The V-2 was NOT an ICBM (Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile) but an SRBM (Short Range Ballistic Missile).
While the V-2 was a ballistic missile it wasn't an ICBM .
Finally one video where is correct that first automatic assault rifle was made in Germany. Also first modern rocket and first jet engine airplane.
Миномёт забыли.....
А все равно какого брита к этому припишут? 😂 Но лайк поставил
My respects for the one who invented the slingshot
Giovanni Luppis is actually a Croat.
And the first automatic weapon(assault rifle) was created in 1913 by Vladimir Grigoryevich Fedor.
There is a difference between automatic rifle and assault rifle, the Fedorov was the first automatic rifle but it was not an assault rifle
Giovanni lupis had multiple nationalities Italian,Croatian,Astro hungarian
The first landmines were created by the Chinese/Mongols
Ancient landmines, the one shown in the video are modern landmines
@@dataillusion So.....by your logic, the ancient Chinese didn't invent gunpowder (BP) .
Paul Vieille did circa.1884 when he created smokeless powder.

Algunos inventos no estan correctos temporalmente y el origen tampoco.
The atomic bomb is not an American invention! Inventors:Eugene Wigner, Ede Teller, Leó Szilard. All three Hungarian were scientists.
There's a lot of debate about who really invented the first assault rifle way back in the 1910's
But the debate is concentrated between Mexico with the Mondragon rifle and Russia with the Federov Avtomat
What are ‘modern bullets’? Wasn’t the first revolver in 1831?
Modern bullets are sharp pointed by let’s like todays
Revolvers we’re here since 1844
The first revolver ammo was the same as flintlock rifles
There were flintlick revolvers made long before Colt.
The first revolvers didn’t use modern round cartridges. It was powder and ball, which of course, would not count as a modern round.
Leonardo did not create the tank, he sketched it
Hiram Maxim was an American. He only moved to Britain when he was in his 40s.
Actually all of modern weapon was born by German Craftsman
Germans were good in weaponly
But europeans like to pretend that Americans are the violent ones. 😂

Women are the producers of these men ❤❤❤ don't forget that reality
You're right
wow this vid has some pretty bad details in it: the centerfire cartrdige was developed by a swiss guy named samuel pauly who also created a revolver rifle for it. he did both before colt patented his gun (wich was still a muzzle loader btw) and the franco-prussian war ended in 1871 so how tf is the brass cratridge suposed to be invented after it when the french had a proto MG on the fiel during that war that required brass cratridges to work? oh sorry it doesnt. also looked up mitreilleuse and apparently it was invented in 1850 so even worse on research. also looked up the suposed inventor of the modern flame thrower: he was born in 1908 in berlin and died in 1974 in gräfeling. our friend here apparently took the first pic of someone with the name richard fiedler he came across but the guy from wich the pic is was a SS commander and is the guy i mentioned in here. ohain didnt invent the ME262 but was one of the two guys who invented the jet engine, the other one was frank whittle from brittain. my good sir theres a thing called research. please do it.
Those damn Germans stayed on the list
They were warlike from back in the day. Just ask Varus.
1:19 how ironic 😂😂😂
Incorrect. Lancelot deMole invented the tank. The British confirmed that after the Armistice when he was paid for his design which they had copied.
The hand grenade is a Hungarian invention, without a medieval name! I'm cunning, because it was written as a modern hand grenade. It's just that all hand grenades that don't explode in the hand of the thrower are modern.
And there is another Hungarian invention!!! Cumulative ammunition-which penetrates armor because it creates a secondary explosion and pierces-or melts the armor. Literature certainly knows names, but I don't know who they are?
USA and Robert openhimer are not only country and person involved in developing atomic bomb but there were three countries of collaboration USA UK and Canada called Quebic agreement and there were many researchers involved from European countries.
Erm, how do you ignore Rutherford from New Zealand and Sir Mark Oliphant from Australia?
1:53 this one is wrong, actually the first modern tank was the ft-17 renault
Torpedo is croatian invention
V2/fire and forget drone 😂
1:41 Richard Fiedler was born 24 April 1908 till 14 December 1974). So how on earth did he invented the flamethrower?
Thats the wrong image of the Richard Fiedler who invented the flamethrower i knew the information later after uploading,
There is no image of the one who invented the flamethrower
That was interesting.
Einstein came up with the nuke
Katyusha is a rocket launcher. Not a missile launcher. Missiles have some sort of guiding mechanism to reach a specific target.
Giovanni lupis was Italian, he was also a traitor and infamous, he was an officer of the Austro-Hungarian navy.
He had italian-croatian ancestry, he was born in croatia later moved to austria where he grew up, then died in Italy

Wasn’t that the Turtle shown as the first submarine
Me thinks grenades go back to the first gun
Revolvers go back to matchlock guns. Colt made a popular one but even then flintlock coulters predate Colt
Pauli was making cased ammo cr 1810
Me thinks the Eastern Roman Empire were useing flame throwers about 1100

Revolvers are different from matchlock guns they have different mechanism
