All of this happened while I was waiting on my husband to have surgery on his mouth.
My husband just told me that the man talked to his dog telling him that he got his heart pills this morning. And that the dog was barking in the back.
But they know it's a fake.
And wanted me to sign something???
Okay, Karen.

My husband just told me that the man talked to his dog telling him that he got his heart pills this morning. And that the dog was barking in the back. His dog is going to have a stroke or heart attack being brought out like this. His dog did not go through the 2 years of training. He can't handle it. It's essentially animal abuse. You're torturing your elderly dog who is so stressed it can't stop panting and shaking. And you out your dog through that knowing he takes heart pills? Just so you can bring him everywhere with you. And that's pathetic in my opinion.
But they know it's a fake.
And wanted me to sign something???
Okay, Karen.
And they asked my husband if I had my service dog registration with me. Which is false and illegal to request.
AND the owner, the lady who asked me to sign the paper, went to my husbands room and was telling my husband that I was being rude, loud, causing issues etc.
Karen obviously didn't know she was being recorded. 🙄
Okay Karen! 🤣 Go get em girl!
Them Karens never learn...
But make sure you keep us updated if they say anything or contact you or anything.
I hope you filed an ADA complaint on them! Thats straight up discrimination and its not okay! I'd be furious 🤬
@@ruthiesfight Karens are putas look up what puta means it has many meanings
I dont know now you deal with this Ive stopped taking my service dog most places because the stress is worse than me having an ms hug and laying on the floor alone .......
No real legal document is typed with comic sans font 🤣🤦♀️
😂😂
Yeah you can kind of tell the was whipped up super fast probably why dom was sitting there people if someone has a service dog please treat that dog as if it is a wheelchair or cane do not touch do not speak and do not require the handler to say fake bs you can only ask two questions Is this a service dog for a disability and what are they trained for.
Also the "sigh and date" parts where written in and not a part of the "original" print out. I wonder if they copy and pasted what they thought would make that look like a real legal document or if they were just pulling shite out of their ares? Either way I would of contacted the office manager or whom ever runs the business and told them about what had happened to her.
For anyone who doesn't know, we can tell the dog is stressed because he's panting, flicking his tongue, turning his head frequently, and his ears are pulled back. Those are all dog social signals indicating stress. Licking, picking up one foot, "whale eye," and averting the eyes are also indications of dog stress. If those social signals are ignored by the other people or dogs in the environment, a stressed dog can escalate to snapping, growling, biting, snout grabbing, teeth baring, and barking. The dog is just trying to tell everyone else that he's uncomfortable in the environment and can escalate until that point is made. You always want to solve the problem before your dog progresses to the harsher behaviors. Knowing and acting on the passive signs can help prevent bites.
All dogs pant. I don’t get why that’s showing him being stressed.
@@livincountry dogs pant for lots of reasons. Being overheated, being thirsty, stress. When the panting is combined with other signals of stress, then the panting is likely from stress. Dogs don't pant for no reason. It indicates some type of discomfort, either physical or social.
I find it insane how people just don't care, not only about actual service animals, or their own pets wellbeing, just so they don't have to take their dog for a walk later like what the actual fuck is wrong with people
I'm not the only one who has taught my service dog the "head down" command! Thank god! Some people look at me like I'm a control freak for teaching that command!
Mya has learned it too! Though I still have to tell get a few times. She’s still getting the hang of it
We use “chill.”
How awful.. I think it is disgusting what people do to make legit service dog handlers feel discriminated.. I am so sorry this happens to you..
For real I fell sorry for u I think it's disrespectful to the people who have real service dogs to help their owner with their special needs
Bringing in a fake service dog is bad enough. But asking for papers for your real service dog? Why? Frickin' Karens. You handled it so well. I may be a patient person, but idk how I would handle a situation like that
deez nutz I would have had a small anxiety attack I do have anxiety and am most likely going to get a service dog soon
@@emersonkinnally8211 Hello! I was wondering since you are going to get a service dog for anxiety how did you tell your parents,Therapist and doctor? @@cs_s1e I have a service dog for anxiety as well I basically brought it up to my doctor and said hey since the medication or the treatments that you are giving me isn't working could we please consider a service animal to help and I just went from there and then I talk to my therapist and she said it would benefit me and I've had a service dog for probably almost 3 years but I have a service dog in training now because my other one got attacked by a fake and couldn't work anymore
Thank you, Ma'am for this post. People need to know what the laws are especially to protect their rights and their dogs from harassment from ill-informed people.
You can always spot a fake service dog by the stress and/or lack of training.
Why would they ask you, the owner of such a well behaved service dog to sign such a bogus form??
As someone with PTSD and a chihuahua mom, this had me shaking. I was so mad for this dog. The guy carting him around is horrific, and that poor baby needs to be at home, napping in front of a fireplace on a comfy bed for the rest of his life.
If the dog is being carried around, it is NOT a service dog.
@@caseyjones9716 actually some small breeds service dogs are carried for safety and to make sure their owner gets alerted of a medical episode or something like one of their disabilities acting up I have a friend who has a small service dog to alert to her seizures and she carries her around it's legally allowed if the dog is out of control then that isn't a service animal
Ooooooh I cannot wait until the follow up on this one. Keep us posted on the aftermath/fallout.

I actually watched someone get fired for trying to kick out my friend and his service dog. My friend's poker buddy was the owner of that store! #ServiceDogJustice #InstantKarma
That's hilarious and good
This needs to go to the DOJ in a discrimination complaint. She was right in not signing any paperwork dealing with her service animal or her medical condition. Also there a really good law firm in Montgomery AL that deals with this kida stuff.
You don't have to disclose your medical condition!
I think it’s time to find a new dentist. That’s insane and makes me so angry! First to be abusing your fake service dog, causing stress, and then the real service dog owner gets called out? Way to cause more anxiety for a disabled person. I would sue them for the stress they caused.
Are you saying Dominique's service dog is fake? Or are you referring to the actual fake the guy had there?
NoLimits Exclusive I’m saying Dominique has the real service dog.
@@thespotteddog9552 Oh okay.

You handled this so well, good for you for staying calm but standing your ground and educating the public!
I went to the dentist yesterday and my dentist was very service dog friendly. They know my service dog by name now and look forward to seeing him when I come it.
This paperwork they showed you is totally ridiculous. You did a great job standing up for yourself and not signing
I never ever knew the importance of service dogs, what they can do when trained, strangers leaving them alone to do their job......all of it until I found your channel a couple years ago. Girl you definitely have got a way better handle on this than I do. Honey there ain’t no tellin what kinda words woulda come outta my mouth had this been me in your situation lol. I know it is better to stay calm and respectful and try to spread awareness of the laws for service animals but dang. This MS girl wouldn’t have been able to stay so calm. You did great!
IF YOU ARE GOING TO BRING A DOG INTO AN ESTABLISHMENT EVEN IF THEY ALLOW DOGS... YOUR DOG SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST OBEDIENCE TRAINING TO WHERE IT LISTENS TO COMANDS AND KNOWS HOW TO ACT AROUND OTHER PEOPLE AND ANIMALS .... PERIOD. sorry you have to deal with this stuff!
In one of Dom's more recent videos she brings mya into a store and mya is going crazy. Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
I train my service dogs when they are pups in pet friendly places for a few months, then everywhere. They don’t act perfect because they are in training. Socialization and basic commands are the first step for us. I carry cards with me stating the law also. People give me looks when I bring my sdit puppy in pet friendly /regular places to train etc. Hoping that dog was in training. Maybe????
I'm sorry I'm just really excited and I don't actually know any service dog handlers, but my service dog is about 12lbs and he did off leash for the first time at IKEA, his favorite store other than a small bike store right by our house, and he actually did way better than he does on leash, I just had to say it sorry I'm just really excited 😁❤️
Lol maybe your dog just wanted to show you he can behave offleash. He knew it was a privilege lol 😂
It's always exciting when our dogs reach a milestone!! Keep up the good work!! ❤️
People like me with major anxiety issues have trouble sticking up for ourselves in situations like this. I would of cried and had an anxiety attack and kept saying sorry even though i wouldnt of been in the wrong, and anyone calling the cops would make the anxiety attack worse and id feel like everyone would be staring or whispering about how my baby is a fake and im being over dramatic faking my anxiety and in the end the fear of having my baby taken from me. So i always have my fiancé with me too. So ty for showing this it gives me courage
I was having an anxiety attack. But I knew I was in the right. And just tried to get through it.
I would have been through the roof at that!! You handled it so well!
They had my anxiety through the roof. I tried so hard. She was SO rude.
You have more than enough evidence as is, sue them privately, they'll settle out of court because their attorney will tell them to (as it's a case they can't win).
I’m sorry that you had to go through that and yeah they are breaking the law for that
love how tactful and just straight to the point you are!
It was very satisfying at the end when you pulled out your UA-cam channel to show them a lesson!!! I bet they’ll never mess with you again!!🤣🤣🤣

Just fyi if you read the paper all the way it says “Service animals in training must wear identifiable vests” which under Alabama state law is 100% legal because the ADA doesn’t cover Service Dogs In Training. Taken from the state law “c)(1) The trainer of a service animal, while engaged in the training of the animal, has the same rights and privileges with respect to access to areas of public accommodation and the same liability for damage as is provided for an individual with a disability who is accompanied by a service animal.
(2)a. A dog that is a service animal in training shall wear a harness, collar, leash, cape, or backpack that identifies in writing that the dog is a service animal in training.
b. Other service animals in training shall be identifiable by written identification as a service animal in training.
c. The written identification for a service animal in training shall be visible and legible from a distance of at least 20 feet.
(3) To determine the difference between a service animal in training and a pet, a public accommodation may ask any of the following:
a. If a trainer is an owner trainer with a disability or a qualified trainer with at least one year's experience training animals.
b. For photo identification stating that the trainer is an employee, volunteer, agent, or graduate of a school for seeing eye, hearing, service, or guide dogs or an organization generally recognized by agencies involved in the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities as reputable and competent to provide dogs with training, and who is actually involved in the training process.
c. What task the animal is being trained to perform, and if the trainer is currently engaged in the training of the animal.”
I've never seen that under state law do you have the codes or a link to the Alabama law?. Max is fully trained anyway.
The paper still contradicted itself. Stating that there's 2 questions. But then trying to ask someone to sign in. Which goes against state and federal

Yea it’s this, www.animallaw.info/statute/al-assistance-animals-assistance-animalguide-dog-laws#s6

@@danielleg.1084 But not regarding public access? Just stating that in training has to be visible for people operating vehicles correct?
@@danielleg.1084 I'll have to read it here in a bit.
Who Thru Poo Yes the ADA does state that you may train the dog yourself however it does not provide access rights to the Service Dog in training, the states do. Alabama is well within their rights to regulate the public access right of Service Dogs In Training
I feel bad for the dogs that these owners put into stressful situations. They can’t help being dogs especially with minimum training
You may consider carrying a laminated card with Alabama state, and Federal statutes clearly spelled out so when you run into crap like this, just hand them the card. Works on law enforcement as well...most are ignorant of ADA and service dogs so when they see the specific statutes they cant argue.
And now with the harness bit, I was literally told my dog is illegal because her harness is blue and when I said "that's not what the ADA says, she doesn't even need any patches" the person told me because I got the harness on chewy its against the law (because it wasn't red). I had to remind the person several times what the ADA states and was literally pulling up the website on my phone. They refused to look at it and in the end made the first half of my time at the polls difficult. I volunteered to be there because I got a call saying they were short staffed and got harassed for the first 10 minutes leaving me anxious until about half an hour after the lady got off her shift. If your gonna preach know the ADA laws first people. I would hate having to tell the county "yea well because of your other worker I had to leave to avoid an anxiety attack they almost caused" but I stuck my ground because I review the ADA laws weekly if not more frequently so I can stand up for myself.
Dog acts fake
You dog: acts real
Them: FAKE DOG IS YOUR DOG
Maybe first
Edit: She said PERIOD💯👑💅💅
You handled the situation nicely well done Dom.
You cannot refuse service based on a disability. Service animals are protected by law and the ADA.
Just so people know.... Many Veterans use ID tags so they don't have to deal with any public access issues. Not that this guy is doing that bc clearly his dog his not a SD
You are so kind and respectful. I would have started crying made a scene and cussed her out. Also I used to work in HR and that’s clearly a fake letter because no professional letter will say “fake service animal, real trouble” not to mention the Grammer is way off. This was not worded professionally. Having worked in HR I can tell you some employees will type out fake things just to get away with things. You should definitely report that employee. Also this did happen to me last year but not with a service dog. I got banned from a medical establishment for threatening a lawsuit for discrimination and accused of threatening behavior for getting upset. I tried to tell them it was against ADA law to refuse to treat me just because I was autistic and they didn’t believe me and threw me into a meltdown and I started shouting that I had spoken to multiple doctors and lawyers when I had not and turned into a Karen and said things I regret, told the lady she needed Jesus and I hope she burns in hell and that my doctors shouldn’t be in practice and that it’s disgusting they’re getting away with this. They tried to feed me BS that the ADA didn’t exist and that their legal team told them it wasn’t discrimination to refuse care to an autistic person if the doctor is uncomfortable. My doctor had also called the local psych ward on me at a local hospital and accused me of lying about being autistic claiming all autistics are schizophrenic and the hospital thought her story sounded fishy so they contacted me and after hearing my side they said she was under investigation for malpractice and had a history of trying to institutionalize every autistic patient she had ever seen accusing them of being schizophrenic. I did find a local psychiatrist who had me tested and turns out it’s PTSD not schizophrenia or bipolar. Unfortunately because of my meltdown I can’t take anything to court because the lawyer I spoke with said because I have no evidence and the call is recorded based on my meltdown no judge will take my side and I found out in North Carolina there’s exceptions to the ADA. In North Carolina if a doctor isn’t comfortable treating an autistic patient they have a right to refuse. The ADA apparently has doctors listed as exceptions due to comfort. The lawyer I spoke with did talk to their legal team and according to them the ADA laws vary from state to state and there’s exceptions in certain cases such as being uncomfortable. That made no logical sense to me but this guy was an actual lawyer experienced in ADA issues and according to him, although the ADA states nobody can refuse care based on someone being autistic, if a doctor is uncomfortable or doesn’t feel qualified they have a right to refuse. So I was LEGALLY discriminated against according to state law. They actually had mocked me on that phone call too and made fun of me and laughed at the emotional distress saying “oh you’re going to cry like a little baby when you threatened us little girl?” When I said what threats all I threatened was a lawsuit they laughed and accused me of threatening to destroy my doctors career which I did not and they told me she didn’t feel safe around autistic people. Then they said “we have Jesus autistic people don’t. Ya’ll are demons” then she hangs up on me and I get 2 letters. One banning me from that doctors office and the other banning me from the mainstream medical establishment saying I’ll get no further care so now I’m stuck with the other mainstream one and their care isn’t as good as the former one was but I can’t do anything about it. I’m banned for life all because I had a meltdown. So I understand what you are going through. It’s unfortunate that doctors think they are above the law.
Some people are ridiculous 😡. I have a service dog of my own and if this happened to me I would’ve gone crazy
It took everything in me not to loose it while having an anxiety attack. It was NOT easy. I've gone crazy before lol. But I was trying so hard.

That poor dog was stress panting stress shaking and clearly he is an elderly dog with a heart condition and the man brings him to a store he is just putting his dog and your life and risk because 1: the stressed dog could attack and seriously injure a REAL service animal and 2: if the dog started barking at max he could’ve missed a medical alert and you could end up in the hospital because of that dog. People NEED to understand that bringing FAKE service animals into stores, hospitals, and other non pet friendly places is ILLEGAL and if the fake service dog saw the real service dog and started lunging at it that is extremely dangerous for the handler with legitimate disabilities
The way people look another way at service dog handlers is just because they go shopping with a dog next to them. So disgusting. Why can't people look at them as normal humans? I don't understand it sometimes
Sorry for my grammar, I'm not the best at English.
I'm going back through your old videos and omg you actually do possibly live in the same city as me, suprised I've never seen you around before but thats probably bc I'm still in school and we probably run on different time schedules but I just find it so fascinating that one of the fellow SD handlers I watch lives closer than I thought
im taking my 9 year old service dog in public to a walmart tomorrow i cant wait shes very smart and has a e collar since she tends to get distracted a bit so i press vibrate first then go to the stimulation shes been getting alot better the reason i dont take her many places is because of my grandma she thinks she has to have a id and im like hell no do your research old woman so now i finally begged enough and shes goin in public to a walmart instead of petsmart or home depot we went on our first outing to home depot and i was scared that lola was going to mess up but she did amazing she mostly ignored the dogs she listened mostly she barely got distracted until the old man came up and started petting her but i dont blame him since i didnt get my harness in that says do not pet but she was really nice to the little old man she even tried to kiss him since she loves everyone shes a little angel of you give her butt scratches and belly rubs i love her so much!

I am so thankful that I am in Australia and this crap doesn't happen as much (I don't think 😅) I'm considering getting an SD and so I've been preparing myself for what may come 😂 I think theres quite a good understanding in Australia that when a dog is wearing a vest saying their a service dog, their an extension on the human 🤷 I feel we've got a better toll on the legality of service dogs (no offence lol) so I'm quite happy with what may come tbh (I probs woulda gotten the SD anyways but you catch my drift😂)
Absolutely not! I wouldnt have signed either!
This is terrible! Also, love your libra tattoo! ♎
Just an FYI our governor has passed law to allow Service Dogs in training after they complete good citizenship and are in public access training more ability to go into more places, howeverthe trainer and handler need to go at the dogs rate and be aware of the dogs behavior and adjust, pick up and even leave a placeif its to much for the ServiceDog in training at the time.
Your dog like mine is on leash we no longer use treats and use basic hand and word gestures however after public access training he will be as he is needed to be off leash do to it interfere with my condition will be able to go with me after the final public access part to be off leash wherever I go.
And sometimes going into new areas might have the Service Dog in training dog a little nervous, but over all the dog should be at the person's side and not causing issues for others that includes barking , lunging , and pulling leash, if the dog is in distress and shaking like that the Hanlder needs to be aware and leave the place tilll that doesn't happen it takes work and practice with a legitimate Service Dog trainer regardless if the dog is from a Service Dog Facility or privately trained by an Academy/Organization that is legit for Service Dog training for people that can't afford a Service Dog from a facility, or need a Service Dog sooner and not be on a waiting list.
The dog might be an EMS Task Trained permitted if it behaves as I have seen some doctors offi es and placesow that with documentation of proof the dog is task trained.
However that Service Dog vest and the anxiety that dog was displaying, the Handler should be aware and respond accordingly. However don't know if they are legit don't know unless you ask questions if not yes they need to be removed.
However If a person has a Service Dog in training and is behaving and near the owner and siting , standing or laying down, not being disruptive, not peeing or being aggressive, not showing severe anxiety then it's allowed as Service Dog in certain establishments.
As our governor trying to make it easier for public access training as long as dog has completed good citizenship, is walking on or off leash if it interferes with the tasking.
It's helpful for those like me.
I agree that small dog is not acting like a full service dog. But might be an ignorant person who thinks once he starts Service Dog Training he can automaticallytake the dog anywhere and thats not true.
The dog is stressed out and though it's not acting out it's not healthy for the dog regardless if its a Service Dog in training it has alot of work to do before being there and he can'tjust think because he has the dog as 'Sevice Dog' attached to the dog if the dog is beginning training they are absolutely not ready for such public access and a trainer needs to make sure the Handler knows this.
Still shame on you to over react and say "I hope it doesn't attack" instead of staying calm your fueling an over reaction that stresses you out and the Service Dog you have out.
For all you know it could be a Service Dog in training with an incompetent Handler that was not told that they can just go into public access because they were given Handler and the dog Service Dog title, and that it takes alot of time, energy and work to get the dog to become a Service Dog ready for public access, not just on a whim and apparently that guy either didn't get the messag or disregarded that.
However there are ways to speak on that on your channel and not over react. You can ask the gentleman is your Service Dog in training, what is the Service Dog for? And then let him know what you saw and that it needs to get more training before going into public places.
You would want people not to jump to assumptions over you and your Service Dog, be mindful there are unfortunately people who think their Service Dog is ready for more public access areas, when their dog is not. That's where the Handler needs to be aware what you see.
Your dog just shown behavior of a Service Dog, yet your own dog got nervous with your over reactive working yourself up behavior, and yes I caught that when he was uncertain to follow your commands. You gotta work on that.
Yes the office was wrongful with what they asked for, my dentist asks two questions and if your like me with my medical condition a medical establishment for your safety amd wellbeing can ask if someone is with you or in car waiting or if you have a emergency contact in case something happens so if I'm out of commission they can go out to car or let someone that came with me know and then go from there and the person with me can talk to the ambulance person or speak for me if I can't and they don't separate you from your Service Dog.
You did act entitled and stuck up and that makes you no better than the staff there in your choice of words, even if you did make them aware of ADA Laws, even if you asked questionsand tried to educate them you did it with snippy agitationyou need to be calm and collected when handling this.
Say what you need to say and not brag it's going onto UA-cam because abit of what you said , regardless if they are in the wrong make you sound condescending and as a Service Dog Handler you need to be better than that and be more mature in how you handle the situation even if your frustrated is all I'm saying.
Max is such a smart boy!
The dentist office gave me a panic attack. I couldn't watch the whole thing.
Why would they accuse a real service that’s not breaking the law and not have the man with the fake service animal sign it
The man's dog was a fake and he lied on the forms.
Plus the company itself was breaking the law by asking her to fill out forms.
Under the ADA you can not ask for documentation or any forms for a service dog only two legsl questions are allowed.
1. Is that a service dog needed for a disability?
2.what task does it preform?
Her dog is a service dog the other man's dog was not be lied.
Actually it is a HUGE BIG DEAL
Under the ADA untrained dogs aka pets or ESA do not have public access into non pet friendly places. The person who brings a non service dog can legally be removed if they object they can be fined or worse jailed.
Every time someone fakes a service dog, it puts the work of real service dogs in jeopardy. Trained service dogs provide assistance in everyday life to those who need it. The consequences are not just limited to a hostess asking your bouncy dog to stop putting his paws on someone else’s table. You and your dog’s actions, no matter how benign, will have impact on the people around you, and one misstep can cause people to believe that all service dogs are just over-glorified pets.
Also a fake service dog can distract a real service dog and cause them to miss a medical alert that could injure or kill the owner. Which would cause the fake owner to be arressted for attempted manslaughter.
Even without an attack, a phony service dog can distract a legitimate, task-trained service dog from his or her job. Fake service dogs can also create a bias against actual service dogs if they have an accident or incident in a grocery store or other business that allows only service dogs..
The way it acted was not that of a service dog. And yes stress panting which dogs will do when under stressful situations. It was also stated that it barked in the back which actual service dogs are trained not to do.
This makes spotting the fakes exceptionally difficult, but if the dog is showing any of these behaviors, it's most likely an impostor.

The other dog has no right to be there. It's a felony to fake a service dog .
I'm not a licenseed service dog trainer myself and i can tell that other dog is fake. That poor dog is old and VERY stressed out. Its panting with the tongue flicking- wide eyed-attention darting all over the place-obviously shaking like its -20 degrees on a hot day-not comfortable sitting down hence why the poor thing is continuously standing-the guy is also obviously nervous knowing he's putting an illegal service dog vest on his poorly stressed and sick dog. Max and Dom you two handled yourselves with perfect conduct. A few and I don't mean most or some. I just mean a small few group of people who do have legitimate SD and SDIT tend to get a little overboard and turn into Karens.
My Dozier who is going to be my 3rd SD. I had 2 other previous SD but no longer have them and and now my SD Angeles. Thats a topic for another time. But Dozier is a rescue from a family I later found out were abusive to Dozier. I got him April in 2020. I have a rare type of Muscular Dystrophy (I need mobility and balance assistance, and if my pain is too high it will trigger a seizure), SEVERE PTSD (I need help with prevention to try and stop an "episode", "comfort" during an "episode", sometimes if the "episode" is so bad I end up either one thing not proud of or a seizure is triggered, and help coming out of an "episode") Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia due to really bad nightmares/night terrors
"Donald makes people sign NDAs. I'm doing this too."
I Love the end when you give them your UA-cam channel name😂😂😂😂
Hi ,I'm just curious to know what you can do with this situation like afterwards do you fine them or just forgot about it.
I'm pursuing legal actions. The consequences could vary.
I don’t have a service dog but I saw you on TikTok and I always knew you don’t approach a service dog but I never knew how much stuff you guys go through. I am so sorry that this happens and I thank you for making this channel to bring more awareness
I have once seen a fake service dog: I have a Doberman (not service) and I was just walking him down my town when a service pit bull walked right up to my dog and tried to bite his neck, my dog lunged at the pit for trying to bite him but I didn’t let my Doberman get to the pit. The pit owner looked at me in disgust and walked away talking trash about me, has anybody else dealt with something like this?
From what I remember ADA is lax on SDiT....so state laws apply.....but if the dog already does at least 1 service, its not in training.. but if a form came from the state of Al, it would have the state seal, etc...
Yeah, that's what I thought. I was also thinking that it wouldn't have the signature and date line so obviously hand drawn. LOL
This was not a dog in training. It was an ESA. It was old and distressed the man was breaking the law.
People with fake service dogs make it harder for real service dogs ....
Congrats on 200K!
So will the office be charged? How do you combat these even when you give them the truth?
You take it to the department of justice.
My are your cats ESAS? Just curious So sorry this happened this is unacceptable. . Max is soo cute. And I hope the training is gone well with Maya!!! Feel better!
The cat's? Yes. And thank you!
Wait.. your cats are emotional support animals?
@@ericah1618 any animal can be an Emotional Support Animal. ESAs do not have any public access rights like Service Animals because they are simply pets that make you feel better. They are not task trained animals. In addition, only miniature horses and dogs can be labeled as service animals. If you'd like to look up laws regarding ESAs, they are not covered by the ADA, but are covered by the FHA or the Fair Housing Act.
I would be fucking livid!
be careful around fake service dogs they can attack at and moment also happy early birthday my birthday is the 25th of this month
Happy early birthday!
@@ServiceDogPaws thank you
Your service dog is adorable ❤️ 😍
Honestly I have heard of things like this happening, but I suppose I’m just not around when it happens. I will admit I’d be frustrated and probably wouldn’t handle it very well though.
Out of curiosity though, I know most service animals it seems we use dogs right? But do you also think it’s a possibility that other animals could be used like cats and whatnot, but are not as common? Besides possibly being used as an ESA?
In order to be a service animal it must be task trained to help with symptoms of a disability. Since there are very few animals capable of being trained to that level, I can confidently say, not really. Only dogs and mini horses are recognized by law.
Dominique I would have been spitting bullets. You can barely clearly see that the dog was nervous and it was panting because it was clearly excited and you have no idea if that dog could have went off on Max at all. I could even see that Max was perfectly behaved and this fake service dog no way on God's green earth sorry.
Also idk what they were on about because I live in Alabama too and I have never heard of what was on that paper! Ridiculous!!!
This is INSANE! You can even tell its not a legitimate document with the "date & sign" handwritten.. ridiculous they put you through that and not the fake service dog.
This is something new. Having to sign a piece of paper? Well first of all, they could make it a little more "official" if they wanted to get a bite. That's literally a quick 5 minute Word Document, not something by state law. They'd have to put a state seal and American seal on the top to make it official as well (er at least from what I understand). Like literally, a Kindergartner could make a more "official" paper. And you cannot copy and paste a seal so good luck with that! Her attitude was so snarky too. Major cringe and a Karen too. I bet they were embarrassed and/or pissed when you gave them your UA-cam channel ;)
Karma is a bitch, so treat Service Dog Teams right!
It's a good thing you recorded the form. She obviously wouldn't let you read the rest because she realized you were educated and was afraid you'd find more violations --- and there's only one reason she'd be worried about this: SHE wrote it!!! You KNOW she did! No identifying information, no letterhead, no contact info, just a poorly constructed "contract" trying to target people with disabilities. I am absolutely positive that the friggin state or the friggin GOVERNOR (that was SO rude btw!!!) wouldn't write "fake service dog, real trouble" on an OFFICIAL form on such a serious topic. 🙄 Karen we all know you wrote that shit, so I hope you were harshly reprimanded after your boss saw this video putting their business on blast!!
We had a roommate that had a service dog and it was super helpful to us by learning what we needed to do. I always avoided service animals out in public anyway, but I learned just how important it was when he was our roommate. Our roommate always told us the only question we are allowed to ask is, “How does your animal help you?”. It also gave me the initiative to teach my kids that if you see a dog with a vest on it’s important that we don’t talk or touch them: they are working. It is extremely confusing for my three year old to see other kids going up and touching a service dog because she knows the rules.
Actually under the ADA there are two questions that can be legally be asked.
1. Is that a service dog needed for a disability?
2. What task does it preform to help your disablily?
He probably just signed the paper
It infuriates me that people try to pass off their pet dogs as Service Dogs. Too many times, a "fake" has tried to accost my dog, barked at her, challenged us. I have spoken to managers and informed them of fakes, but they tell me there's nothing they can do. These people KNOW their dogs are not legitimate. They are selfish, and they do not care about the safety of others.
Girl... you are my new hero...OH my GOOOOSSHHHHH... SERIOUSLY... I MEAN
..JUST. W O W ... AWSOME. VERY WELL HANDELED.. U NEVER LOST UR SHIT ..U WERE VERY PRO-FESH-AN-AL !!
I AM UR BIGGEST FAN...YEP YEP
PLZ KEEP US UPDATED!
honestly, the only reason i would ask if it's a service dog if it's not wearing a vest. i know it's not required but i just think a vest will help people say hey that's a service dog not a pet. i am thinking about getting a service dog tho for my grand mal seizures since we might have figured out the cause. my doc says it's called hormonal imbalance because i notice they happen most often when one emotion is big like for example, how i hurt my leg with a seizure. i was very excited and nervous to see my friend since we don't see each other often anymore so her husband picked me up on his motorcycle which was very exciting for me since i've never rode one before and always wanted to so the emotion got bigger and i ended up seizing. so i'm thinking i can get one if doc says yes i can. but any way i wanted to ask; do you just need a doctor's okay to start looking into it(like finding a place for it and getting the dog and all that) or is there more to it then that? like would i need more then my doc's okay?
Only two questions however you can ask is
Is that a service dog needed for a disability
What tasks does the dog preform tp help that disability
Anything else is actually illegal.
i think you did very well,, i would have probly been arrested...i feel sorry for that stressed dog...i have a dashound that is my service dog shes trained to distract me if my anxiaty gets to high and to alert if im having a heart attack... but as a dashound she does get distracted in certain situations ,,so places like restraunts and over crowed spaces i wont take her..because i dont want my service dog to get stessed where she cant help me,,,so i do feel sorry for that other dog
people need educating better on service dogs that actually DO help people. especially when trained right as a puppy.
3:15 holy cow, my SD behaves so much better even when it was the first few times I took her to the grocery store (she didn't know what carts were yet) and wow, why did my "barely trained" dog behave so much better.......like wtf. I have to see the restof this but I'm just astonished. I constantly get anxious and worried about how "little" training my dog has at this point (were only a few months into task training and desensitization training at this point too).
I have a medical alert and phyatric service dog I have been told from store owners and restersunt owners that my service dog is suppose to be how a real service dog acts mines medical alert and phyatric because of my hypothyroidism that has gotten server to where I don’t know where I am half the time I faint I have high blood pressure and fast heart rate which she alerts to all and then she’s also ptsd response she alerts me if something reminds me of truma does light pressure theraphy medication reminder distract self harm behavior
You really need to contact your attorney general's office and the Better Business Bureau so that things like this don't happen to other people
PERIOD
I hope you contacted your attorney.
Is there a point that you can call the police for them refusing medical care? I know it would be a huge pain and very time consuming. Just curious if that's a thing.
I wish service dog users didn't have to go through this added hurdle. You are supported by us as you stand your ground.
What type of dog is your service animal?
I would’ve said something to the ppl this is a big problem lately I hope ur husband heals well
Thank you! In a lot of pain but I'll heal (:
NoLimits Exclusive Your welcome I’m sorry you guys had to deal with this!
I have suvier anxiety and I am most likely getting a service dog soon I would be having a small panick attack
@Who Thru Poo Ik I had and have disabling anxiety we were still making sure it was disabling so I just used sever instead.
I liked this video. Good informative content. 👍
