ive been thinking about coming out there on sundays for the league or whatever you wanna call it mainly because we dont have much for good outdoor racing around here and this seems to be about the best we have.
If you're looking for outdoor karting and want to get a foothold in the sport I definitely recommend Tennessee Karting association, they race in Shelbyville, TN at Twin Fountains raceway. Great people and great racing.
Hey I’m sorry for getting to you this late, I think there’s two ways of driving I normally brake in turns 3, 6/7 Hairpin and then 9. A little longer trail braking into 3, a stab in 7 to rotate the kart and another trail brake into 9. I try to jerk the kart around and get it to rotate. Others that are equally, if not faster, almost use no brake or very little and let the kart coast and slow itself. Definitely a matter of track time and driving style! Best of luck!
Congrats getting in the A Main!

Does the track change ever? Also, one of my friend's sons might be going, he is 5'1, should he race Adult carts?
Yes
WTF are the gloves for? don't think there is much danger of fire. must be to have the look!
Mainly just gripping the steering wheel they have a grippy palm so it’s much easier on the palms and hands at the end of the night!
it’s gives less wear on the steering wheel due to all the oil and shit on our hands
