The fact Nick actually has development in the og season 1 is actually interesting. Originally, he was this self centred person who needed to get attention of other people to feel ok with himself, but had to learn he was not the center of the world. I have no idea why the writters didn't chose him for all stars so they can portray that as a redemption arc of some sorts and instead chose Ashley, who not only makes the cast uneven in therms of gender, but already served her propose as a early boot for Fiore's evil scheme.
