I love listening to these scriptures over and over. Tomorrow I start reading Exodus to my husband as our yearly Bible reading. It is great hearing this in the evening as I knit. Very comforting.
In exodus, I did not realize that Joseph and his brothers were dead, when the new king arrived. Because the English scripture says that Joseph did not know him or something like that so now I understand it was the Next Generation and there was very many people population of israel.❤

I'm confused.15:50 god told Moses to take the staff and return to Egypt etc. At a lodging place along the way god was about to kill Moses when the woman cut foreskin and touched it to his feet....I don't understand any of that. Starting with why was god about to kill Moses after telling him to do those things he for him...?
Moses did not circumcise his children. so YHYW was going to kill the child but mosses wife stepped up and circumcised the child and tossed his foreskin at Moses. Then said “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” So YHYW let him live. Circumcision was a symbol of Holiness to YHWY. His mark, if you will..
