It totally sounded beautiful. Just keep in mind that The Voice autotunes everything. It's why I stopped watching it so often. I can notice a difference and it just doesn't feel as genuine to me. I'm just saying that shows like this autocorrect everything, even a slightly sharp or flat note. There are plenty of examples (I saw many on Reddit). You can even tell when watching the show if you know what to listen for. It doesn't take any talent away from the contestants. I personally prefer the occasional slightly sharp or flat note during a very emotional performance. I prefer it, actually. Hell, they even autotune Kelly Clarkson...so that's where I know that The Voice is in the wrong. Kelly is damn near perfect, but they still choose to tune her (or have her redo a line, etc.). She has incredible control over her voice and like the judges have said, she could definitely make it to the finale. I hope both of them get to stay in the competition, they deserve it.

I like Kala a lot and think she is very talented, just not on the same level as Cait. I hope Niall recognized that too and was just defending Kala because she was originally on his team and he likes her so much. The drama of this knockout round was movie worthy. In comes comes Cait. Polished, professional, she delivers this perfect pop diva performance with every hand gesture and head movement perfectly choreographed. And then enters Kayla who sings her heart out in maybe the perfect competition show song. Singing for her life, her song is a heart rending plea. She isn't ready to go home, she just wants us to know who she is, that she wants this moment to last a tiny bit longer. Beautiful.

Two people who could potentially win the season. They both sounded like studio recordings. For me, Kala’s choices are just so pro. She again, just navigates through all her different registers and colors so effortlessly! The way she tells a story is what move me the most! Every choice just gives me complete chills and the way she shaped her verses were crazy. She just knows how to pace a song so perfectly and hit us with big notes at the right time when the emotion allows it.
We didn't hear a live performance. They sang live, but the studio engineers had months to fix any flaws. Various talent shows have been caught doing just that.
I feel like the sound quality must be off on my computer, because from what I could hear, Cait's performance was FLAWLESS and she knocked the homerun so far out of the park that no one could ever catch up to her. Also loved her dress. To me, she absolutely, 1,000% percent won this knockout.

Both so talented!! I'd lean towards Kala in general because every time she sings it captivates me. In this performance though I think Cait killed it!! Her tone is so beautiful!!!!
That means the audio had to be done during post-prod which most singing reality shows do, actually. So that’s why we heard like nothing was wrong. But Blake was there, LIVE. He heard it as it was. If you noticed, the audience and Chance’s reaction was even louder than her voice when she was singing. Video Editors did that.

This was also perfection and flawless. I don't know who to pick because they both won that hands down. That was a tie. There's no wrong pick here as long as there's a steal. Both could easily make the finale and can sing anything. They both just had their big breakout moment and both tapped into their full potential so far. I want to hear Cait sing Alone by Heart honestly. It's a perfect song for her. If she goes for that song I'm gonna scream with happiness! Also no spoilers please, I don't read them. I also just wanted to say their high notes sounded really really STRONG and full of emotions.
Both of these women have gorgeous & very different voices. I have to say, as a Whitney fan, Cait did an awesome job. Whitney would be so proud. On the other hand, Kala’s voice is so pure & angelic. Such a hard decision. Love them both. ❤️

They are both phenomenal singers but I had to say Cait because I've never heard anyone do that song (one of my favorites from Whitney) as good as Queen Whitney until Cait. That means the audio had to be done during post-prod which most singing reality shows do, actually. So that’s why we heard like nothing was wrong. But Blake was there, LIVE. He heard it as it was. If you noticed, the audience and Chance’s reaction was even louder than her voice when she was singing. Video Editors did that.

I want to hear Cait sing Alone by Heart honestly. It's a perfect song for her. If she goes for that song I'm gonna scream with happiness! Also no spoilers please, I don't read them. I also just wanted to say their high notes sounded really really STRONG and full of emotions.
