I was just at the store and couldn’t remember so I got 1/4 yard of each color…so is this going to be too small for these ones? If so, what can I make with 1/4 yard, like of your bows? If you don’t mind me asking?

Thankyou for the tutorial. Do you pre wash your fabric? I prewash my bullet fabric and they rolled.
I do prewash my fabric, I dont use any detergent or anything like that. if bullet fabric rolls, it usually means its cheap/not great quality. also if you prewash, wash it before cutting it, always use cold water setting. if your washer has agitator than that usually ruins fabrics

Hello, I’m new to your videos but really enjoying the tutorial! What would be the length of the fabric? The width is 5” xx
I just cut the full length of the fabric. usually this type of fabric is anywhere between 58-60inches and thats the whole strip,i tie this using the whole strip and than cut off the rest (the reason why because I always make different sizes) and than I just use what's leftover for either the 5" bow or 3" bow on clip or nylon.

it depends. if youre doing 6" wide headband than than 6. (there will be fabric leftover after each headwrap for like a bow on a clip or nylon) if doing 5" than 7 and if doing all newborn-3 months (4 inch width headband) than you can make anywhere between 9 to 16

you can google headwrap sizes. everyone does go by their own measurements. I cut each strip 4"x60" (thats usually he length of the fabric the 60") and for 3months+18Months I do 5"x60" and 2+ I do 6"x60" and than just cut off the excess length once the headwrap is tied, the excess fabric I use it for the little bows on nylon headband or mini piggies. where sis you find that floral fabric in video, can jersey knit fabric be sued for the bows?
best used fabric for this is a little bit structured. yet stretchy and soft. jersey knit might be too "floppy" you can try layering it. I got all my fabrics on etsy or amazon. this is called "bullet fabric" or

One 60” strip i make one headwrap and 1 five inch bow on nylon. Depending on the headwrap size you can fit in a mini bow on nylon or two mini for piggies

You can also use strong thread. amzn.to/3bMydCe When i sold these i used thread, when I make them for my baby girl i used the rubber band. Some people even use mini zip ties. amzn.to/3C0ESmT

does width inches matter as you start from newborn size to 12-18 months?
newborn, 1-3 months I suggest width 5" because the 6" will just cover their whole head. if you already do 5" you can go to 4.5 for 0-3 months

Width of the strip for newborn i do 4” . 1-3 months i do 5” and the rest i do 6” or keep it at 5”. The length of the whole strip, i don’t know because i cut the full length of the fabric and its usually 60 inches. And once i tie the bow, i cut off the extras. Usually with extra you can make a bow on a clip or on a nylon band

most fabric is 60" long. than its measured in yards. if you get half a yard you can make 3 headwraps, have some leftover

How to measure for 3 months babygirl?
cut a strip thats 4 inches in width. I go with the length of the fabric. and than I tie that stip in to headwrap and cut off the excess. the circumference should be anywhere between 14-15"
