I love bronze as a color scheme but it does not look like a Pro Staff. A black color-shifting paintjob would be amazing, but copper/bronze? It's so random to me. And that orange logo is so clashing I can't even look at it. I hope the RF97 is still gonna be black.
I tried and like the new Pro Staff X. Wilson is targeting older players like myself who have more mishits that years ago PLUS you don't have to grind out every shot. I don't really care what it looks like but hey, its not that bad folks!
Agree with commenter below. Why not try a black to red color shift? This PJ would be better suited for a Wilson Hammer... Trying to force the Pro Staff buyers to go custom I guess... Too bad as it sounds as if the flex being original "Pro Staff-like" is right up my alley. Will probably test it, and if I get the urge to buy it, will spring for a can of spray paint.
It provides more power and control and access to spin potential while being more stable and forgiving by enlarging the sweat spot without sacrificing comfort and arm friendly reliability.
Yeah definitely it's subjective. I have one on my table at home that I'm demoing and I picked it up solely based on the amazing paint job. Then I played with it and was blown away.
This guy looks like he could double for Dimitrov so kudos to Wilson for getting a promo guy that looks like he belongs in the Wilson stable. The OG PS 85 is the greatest stick of all time imo & was my racket of choice for many years so hope this one has some of that magic. I'm a black/yellow/red PS guy but the new cosmetic is growing on me some so I'll keep an open mind at least until I see it in hand to demo. I thought the heritage paint job on the v13 was best looking on the market (except shb glossy rather than suede-like finish imo) so uncertain of why the drastic change from the heritage colorway. Would be interesting to hear Wilson's reasoning on the new cosmetics choice.
You would switch from your head pro tour 2.0? I thought that wasn’t possible. If this plays like the 85, this is what Wilson should have done like 9 years ago when Fed was making the switch to the RF97A.
@@tenniswithandy Would have to play a lot like the OG PS 85 and/or 2013 PS 90 for me to consider switching but open to demo-ing latest technology if looks like might be interesting (and there's always hope a new pro staff is gonna be interesting, right?). You gonna review this one (hope so) & whadda ya think bout the new coloway?
They are two separate racquets. There will be a new X in a 100 (discussed in the video) and also the Six one in a 100. I just picked up both to demo. The Six one has a glossy paint job and weighs 305 grams. The X weighs 315.
The bending in the hoop is to much as my serves were going long like a trampoline effect At 54 pounds, gonna bump it up to 57 see if that helps Every other shot was amazing slice backhand forehand and love the paint job...
The VCORE 100 offers easier power and spin, so it would be slightly closer to the Ultra 100 or Burn 100. This Pro Staff 100X v14 is a bit closer to the VCORE Pro 100, both having a bit more control and feel. The Pro Staff 97 v14 is comparable to the VCORE Pro 97 310. Troy, TW
Yeah for similar feel than Volkl PB 10 Power Bridge or Babolat Pure Storm Ltd first edition. Maybe slightly higher RA for more controlled power and to be able to defend.
Not that we have heard of. The only other 100 square inch option right now is the Pro Staff Six.One 100 www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpage-WPS614.html Michelle, TW
Why doesn't this guy talk about Wilson's quality control which is by far the worst of ANY tennis brand, 97 v14 Weight is 315g I weighed several rackets 325 g 329g 300g 340g Finally got into at 316g...

I'm guessing it's a combo of red and yellow from the older pro staff accent colors. At least that's the only way I can justify it
Indeed, should have made it way darker, and the lettering should be dark brown instead

Don't mind copper paint but that orange logo... bleurgh... should have gone for black like Clash, Ultra and Blade.
Tell me you're selling me the exact same racket as before without telling me you're selling me the exact same racket as before.
It’s not the same
It provides more power and control and access to spin potential while being more stable and forgiving by enlarging the sweat spot without sacrificing comfort and arm friendly reliability.
After seing this racket i prefer the black matte colour, superb and minimalist..
From the most beautiful paintjob on the market, to the worst, good job Wilson ( i had one in my hands today, it looks horrible ) !
Subjective! Go buy a lollipop then.. lol
XD

funny..but no one cares what u think!!
@@james2578 i guess you ordered one just before you saw my comment

Is thie x replaces the seix one 100??? I am um the v13 amd would like to know if the x replaces that

does the stringbed/grommets, is the same as v13 ???
Does it have kevlar on its composition?

As an older player not politically correct player told me "The colors must have been picked by a blind man!"
I believe it will price at around US$300 range.
Crazy price honestly
How to compare with yonex v Core 100 2023?

They need to hire me cause Wilson hasn’t been doing great since blx
am sure no one would hire you
If they want it to “flex more” give us an RA at 59.
Yeah for similar feel than Volkl PB 10 Power Bridge or Babolat Pure Storm Ltd first edition. Maybe slightly higher RA for more controlled power and to be able to defend.
Will there be a Pro Staff Xl? 100²ich but lighter

I like the Root Beer Color Poop Staff
I like the bronze look!
Few words is the blade
Guess now that Federer is gone they can do whatever colour scheme they want
That is one ugly racquet. Hard pass. It’s shame, I was looking forward to the Pro Staff update.
New pro staffs here where’s the blade v 9
Surprised people don't like the paint job. I think it looks awesome!
Oh, she sho'is purrrdy.
The new pro staffs look ugly asFFFFFFF. Shoulda stuck with the black, but did like the playability whenever I’d have one in my hand
It's like they created something ugly on purpose, to force people to buy customized paintjob rackets.
Why doesn't this guy talk about Wilson's quality control which is by far the worst of ANY tennis brand, 97 v14 Weight is 315g I weighed several rackets
325 g 329g 300g 340g
Finally got into at 316g...
The woke generation designed this racket...😂
