Yoongi is really good at being a DJ, or talk show host. He doesn't just promote the group. He "interviews" actors, etc. I think he is trying to build his stash of alcohol. Those bottles are valuable. Who wouldn't want to come and hang out with such a conversationalist!?
The reason why so many people watch reaction videos is that we feel like we have a friend to sit with for a little while who also loves the things we do. Not too many of us have local friends that we can talk excitedly about bts with, so when we find someone who is genuine and really makes us feel like we're hanging out together, we show our love and appreciation
the way bts do ads is hilarious😭 they always go over the top obvious when they're promoting something, like the whole hand gestures, tone of voice and ironic serious facial expression, they never take it seriously and it works much better than if they were seriously trying to promote it lowkey like other celebrities do lmao
As for SUGA making Suchwita for BTS,,,,, You'll see it a lot more once you start your Suga week(s) and see some more compilations, but he's totally the quiet caretaker. The kind of guy who will drop everything to help his friends all while vehemently denying he loves them. It's very endearing 🤣🤣

Yeah he's gotten more comfortable showing affection in recent years! It's so good to see. If you watch over time you can really see how he's grown and changed. From full on tsundere to sweet goofy grampa 😂 Remember when he said that if he had kids he wanted to be the kind of father who is warm and affectionate, present and playful? Because his father wasn't that way, and it wasn't easy for him to show affection, it felt wistful then, like a distant hope. Now he's become a person who could easily be that kind of parent. He's had a hell of a path, but he always loved them all deeply - think about Outro:Tear - and I really appreciate what it must mean for him to be able to show it so easily now. I can't wait for this album he's about to surprise us with 😁

I have to say it: BTS never get enough opportunities to talk about their music when they have interviews. Them being artists is pushed back to them being celebrities. So now, when they have SUCHWITA it is such a blessing - not only do they talk freely about their art, but the questions Yoongi asks lead to pretty deep and meaningful conversations. I love it here. And I'm happy you got to watch those episodes as well

the Dumpling Incident actually seems like it was a much bigger deal than just a matter of eating dumplings! Jungkook said on live the other day that it was "sanitized" for us because it was apparently quite messy and dramatic. This is speculation ofc, but the consensus is that Jimin and Taehyung had been noticeably tense around each other for months before the actual fight, probably because Tae took up a separate acting job apart from BTS at the time and was spending less time with/paying less attention to BTS and Jimin (for context, Jimin and Tae are the same age, went to high school together, and according to BTS are the two closest friends in the group; they have a song together which Jimin wrote called "Friends", which is the song that played in this episode when the Dumpling Incident came up and is also part of a Marvel soundtrack, fun fact). For example, they used to have a "segment" where they'd go live together on a regular basis, and Taehyung had cancelled on Jimin to focus on his acting job, and when Jimin went live on his own he openly said that Tae cancelled on him and that he was very upset. Later on in an interview, he also said he was genuinely hurt because Taehyung was so caring to his cast members but didn't show the same care towards BTS. Anyway, there are more of these moments, but it seems like it culminated in the Dumpling Incident, when Taehyung came late to practice because he had been filming and wanted to interrupt BTS' practice to eat since he hadn't had a chance to eat earlier; Jimin didn't want to because it was the group's time to practice together and it shouldn't be interrupted. They didn't talk for a few days after, then met up at a park to talk at 4 am, when they made up. Taehyung wrote a song about that night called "4 O'Clock." This is all info armys picked up from a bunch of different comments, moments, interviews, videos, etc, so it's not at all confirmed, but that's what everyone's been able to gather. But yes, probably about more than just dumplings.

the thing about the dumpling incident was that it happened around the time taehyung was filing his "Hwarang" drama. there was an interview that came out where jimin expressed he felt hurt and left out during that time because taehyung was spending so much time with the cast of the film and telling them his worries instead of telling bts them and jimin felt like he was drifting away from them. people suspected that it wasn't really the dumplings they were fighting over but small insecurities and incidents that built up and overflowed when the dumpling argument happened. jimin and Tae made up after that and in the interview tae promised to tell jimin if anything was bothering him in the future and to stick by him forever. taehyung went to the park after their fight, cried and wrote a song about jimin called "4 o'clock" with namjoon. and we just found out through this video that jimin and yoongi drank after the fight.
If there are 2 things BTS don't do well, it's lipsyncing and discrete product placement.😂 Whenever they spot one of their sponsors, even when it's supposed to be "just casually present", they start weird little skits with the product. They just can't keep a straight face, and I love that about them very much.😊 It actually enhances their authenticity, because they clearly don't feel comfortable manipulating us. im glad that they all prioritize the group too. I think its bc they know they're stronger together. of course they could survive solo, but having a team you can lean on makes things easier. they prioritize their wellbeing over individual stardom and i love that abt them ♡ edit: it takes rlly knowing yourself and setting your ego aside to do that too. most ppl in groups are set on making a name for themselves, BTS are just focused on growing as individuals AND as a team 💜
Also love their solo work that way they get to experience what it's like for the member who do the majority of the song writing, they get to experience doing things they've not done. It means when they all come back together they'll have a huge wealth of extra experience and an even bigger understanding of each other. Not that I believe they don't understand each other but it'll be even more profound.
so Bang PD (founder of BigHit, producer/songwriter and creative director) chose the members but it was a collective agreement, if i'm not mistaken. Because, like Yoongi said, he had strong opinions about Jimin being in the group, he wanted Jimin as a singer in BTS. So the members definitely expressed their opinions about the official members at some point. And I'd guess their choreographer (Son Sung-Deuk) and BigHit staff might've expressed their opinions as well
V also express strong desire for Jimin to be in the group. He mentions it in that letter he wrote to Jimin while they where on vacation he was crying reading that letter.
This was shot way before the album release, that's why Yoongi said he haven't listened to the entire album yet. He tends to listen it when its out, to provide feedback in the general public's point of view, so he tries not to spoil himself before the release. He does that for his members, unless they want feedback from him before release, or wants him to help out with the lyrics/production
😂 I love seeing suga be so comfortable and goofy he's actually the reason I got into bts in the first place. He was the first who really caught my attention with his music. So to see him now with everything he's accomplished being happy makes me so proud for him 😭
I don't know if you've read about this already or someone already said it, but during BTS pre-debut the Bighit producers like PDOGG would give them assignments to write their own melody for their songs. Especially for the title track. PDOGG would give them what the vide is and they all write each of their own melody for it and record it and then present it to them. They do this for ALL their album title tracks and often times elements of those they submit gets into the final track. RM, Jhope and Suga have been producing more than the vocal line and they have more practice writing lyrics since they write their own verses so often times their versions gets picked. There are video lives of namjoon talking about the process of the WHOLE album sometimes he plays us the old guide track or his version of the melody. It's really great and such a vulnerable and super personal side of them on how their music came to be. It's fantastic truly.
Yoongi is low key the funniest member, ISTG but he’s also so wise and comforting. Can’t wait for you to go through his music and see more of him (I say that about all of them because damn, we really got lucky with these guys all being so amazing in different ways).

at 30:30,to understand the backstory of this, you'll have to see their burn the stage series etc and other old docus where you learn that Jimin was always as a trainee and in the early days of BTS, insecure about his voice. So him thinking that he didn't belong with the team at that time was all a part of that. I'm so happy he started and still is growing more and more confident in his talents

He was the one who took 13-14 year old Jungkook to LA for dance practice at the request of Bang Sihyuk (founder and director of Big Hit ent. (now Hybe), producer, the one who brought all the members together). After the company began to grow, he was the main choreographer. According to the latest (after bts decided to go solo for a while) he quit (although I could be wrong). In general, this man played a very important role in the career of bangtan. He literally raised them. Army and BTS love and respect him.
So in Korea drinking is a part of their culture, after work drinks, going out drinks, drinks while eating. So the guys have a high tolerance I would say... if im not mistaken, yoongi and jimin drink the most out of the group... though jk might be right up there now. They were eating fish cake soup (eomuk). Set Me Free is from Yoongi's 2nd mixtape called D-2 under his name Agust D (its SUGA backwards and the D T stands for Daegu Town - a nod to his old underground rap crew/ his hometown). Yoongi is the king of promotion (in a very hilarious and endearing manner. He did it a lot during the filming of In The Soop - soop means forest).

Jimin is known to be the hardest worker, and everyone in BTS emphasizes it whenever they come to the topic. He is practically insane sometimes, extremely hard on himself and critical. If you dive into a lot of their behind-the-scenes videos, you'll see they're all perfectionists. Jimin in particular is almost always the one suggesting that they should do 'one more take', which more likely than not will never actually be the final take. When he was a trainee, he was always the first to wake up ad last to sleep. He sleeps at 4am and wakes up at 6.30am to go to school, its till that point. And he often puts a mat in the practice room and sleeps there, because if so he can practice 'one last time'. He spent all of his time in school and in the practice room. That's why Yoongi (Suga) said, 'If hard work is a talent, Park Jimin is a genius'. He truly made it to where he is today because he put it that much amount of effort

Pdogg is one of Bts' OG producers since the beginning. And he is one of the "song camp" with Jimin. I'm pretty sure it's his house that they stayed in for months for this album. But I may be wrong. Either way, Pdogg is an amazing internal producer. Much like Bang PD (The former CEO that brought Bts together), he had a vision and is versatile in his craft.
You should watch the rest of them when you have time. They have some great conversations and their is one with Tablo from EpiK High who featured on RMs album Indigo called All Day. Both RM and Suga looked up to them and he is one of their influences and idol. I believe it is the 3rd episode. Another good one is with Jimin's idol Taeyang who he featured on his song Vibe. He was letting him know how extensive Jimin looked up to Taeyang was. Great conversation on that one as well coming from their seniors in the industry

Jungkook watched this Suchwita episode live too and told us the dumpling argument between Vmin was actually pretty intense and neatly packaged in its retelling to us lol. I’m so curious! When it happened, Taehyung was shooting his show, Hwarang, where he made bffs with some of the other actors. There may have been some jealousy that Tae had found additional best friends, but it’s all speculation. Jimin has referenced his jealousy in past interviews.

the Dumpling Incident actually seems like it was a much bigger deal than just a matter of eating dumplings! Jungkook said on live the other day that it was "sanitized" for us because it was apparently quite messy and dramatic. This is speculation ofc, but the consensus is that Jimin and Taehyung had been noticeably tense around each other for months before the actual fight, probably because Tae took up a separate acting job apart from BTS at the time and was spending less time with/paying less attention to BTS and Jimin (for context, Jimin and Tae are the same age, went to high school together, and according to BTS are the two closest friends in the group; they have a song together which Jimin wrote called "Friends", which is the song that played in this episode when the Dumpling Incident came up and is also part of a Marvel soundtrack, fun fact).
For example, they used to have a "segment" where they'd go live together on a regular basis, and Taehyung had cancelled on Jimin to focus on his acting job, and when Jimin went live on his own he openly said that Tae cancelled on him and that he was very upset. Later on in an interview, he also said he was genuinely hurt because Taehyung was so caring to his cast members but didn't show the same care towards BTS. Anyway, there are more of these moments, but it seems like it culminated in the Dumpling Incident, when Taehyung came late to practice because he had been filming and wanted to interrupt BTS' practice to eat since he hadn't had a chance to eat earlier; Jimin didn't want to because it was the group's time to practice together and it shouldn't be interrupted. They didn't talk for a few days after, then met up at a park to talk at 4 am, when they made up. Taehyung wrote a song about that night called "4 O'Clock."
This is all info armys picked up from a bunch of different comments, moments, interviews, videos, etc, so it's not at all confirmed, but that's what everyone's been able to gather. But yes, probably about more than just dumplings.

the thing about the dumpling incident was that it happened around the time taehyung was filing his "Hwarang" drama. there was an interview that came out where jimin expressed he felt hurt and left out during that time because taehyung was spending so much time with the cast of the film and telling them his worries instead of telling bts them and jimin felt like he was drifting away from them. people suspected that it wasn't really the dumplings they were fighting over but small insecurities and incidents that built up and overflowed when the dumpling argument happened. jimin and Tae made up after that and in the interview tae promised to tell jimin if anything was bothering him in the future and to stick by him forever.
taehyung went to the park after their fight, cried and wrote a song about jimin called "4 o'clock" with namjoon. and we just found out through this video that jimin and yoongi drank after the fight.
If there are 2 things BTS don't do well, it's lipsyncing and discrete product placement.😂 Whenever they spot one of their sponsors, even when it's supposed to be "just casually present", they start weird little skits with the product. They just can't keep a straight face, and I love that about them very much.😊 It actually enhances their authenticity, because they clearly don't feel comfortable manipulating us. Because, like Yoongi said, he had strong opinions about Jimin being in the group, he wanted Jimin as a singer in BTS. And I'd guess their choreographer (Son Sung-Deuk) and BigHit staff might've expressed their opinions as well

This was shot way before the album release, that's why Yoongi said he haven't listened to the entire album yet. He tends to listen it when its out, to provide feedback in the general public's point of view, so he tries not to spoil himself before the release. He does that for his members, unless they want feedback from him before release, or wants him to help out with the lyrics/production

I don't know if you've read about this already or someone already said it, but during BTS pre-debut the Bighit producers like PDOGG would give them assignments to write their own melody for their songs. Especially for the title track. PDOGG would give them what the vide is and they all write each of their own melody for it and record it and then present it to them. They do this for ALL their album title tracks and often times elements of those they submit gets into the final track. RM, Jhope and Suga have been producing more than the vocal line and they have more practice writing lyrics since they write their own verses so often times their versions gets picked.
There are video lives of namjoon talking about the process of the WHOLE album sometimes he plays us the old guide track or his version of the melody. It's really great and such a vulnerable and super personal side of them on how their music came to be. It's fantastic truly.

He was the one who took 13-14 year old Jungkook to LA for dance practice at the request of Bang Sihyuk (founder and director of Big Hit ent. According to the latest (after bts decided to go solo for a while) he quit (although I could be wrong). In general, this man played a very important role in the career of bangtan. Jimin is known to be the hardest worker, and everyone in BTS emphasizes it whenever they come to the topic. He is practically insane sometimes, extremely hard on himself and critical. If you dive into a lot of their behind-the-scenes videos, you'll see they're all perfectionists. Jimin in particular is almost always the one suggesting that they should do 'one more take', which more likely than not will never actually be the final take. When he was a trainee, he was always the first to wake up ad last to sleep. He sleeps at 4am and wakes up at 6.30am to go to school, its till that point. And he often puts a mat in the practice room and sleeps there, because if so he can practice 'one last time'. He spent all of his time in school and in the practice room. That's why Yoongi (Suga) said, 'If hard work is a talent, Park Jimin is a genius'. He truly made it to where he is today because he put it that much amount of effort

He was letting him know how extensive Jimin looked up to Taeyang was. Great conversation on that one as well coming from their seniors in the industry

When it happened, Taehyung was shooting his show, Hwarang, where he made bffs with some of the other actors. There may have been some jealousy that Tae had found additional best friends, but it’s all speculation. Jimin has referenced his jealousy in past interviews.
