It’s father’s like this that make their daughters feel like everything is their fault. Suzy is not the one to blame, it is her father for being a jerk to his youngest daughter and saying that he wasn’t her father is just the worst example of someone who never truly cared about others but themselves.

I think I understand her sister's feelings in this story. She took out all her anger, frustrations, and hatred she had for Dad out on Megan. Which is wrong. I'm glad her Dad came back and showed her his true colors. She said Megan was ruining her life, when the truth is, her Dad was the one ruining Susie's life.

she hated her because she thought it was Megans fault that the dad left
she felt alone because she thought the mom loved Megan more and she blamed Megan
she thought Megan was the reason she was unhappy and alone so susie was trying to make Megan unhappy and alone
but at the end she realized it wasn't Megans fault that the dad left and he's just a horrible person
and that she doesn't have to be unhappy and alone if she stops pushing everybody away

What Susie did was wrong and I understand she was upset, but that was no excuse for her to take her anger out on Megan. The way she treated her the whole story and then apologized at the end for everything? She basically, blamed and ruined Megan's life. Not only lying and blaming her, but she also made her miss out on opportunities. If I was in Megan's shoes, I probably would have said, "You know what Susie. We are sisters, we can't change that. But after everything you have done to me all my life, I want nothing to do with you. Maybe one day, I will find it in my heart, to forgive you and we can be sisters. But now, I don't. Until we graduate we are just roommates. Strangers." I know that sounds harsh but I think that's what she should have said when Susie apologized.
