I really want to be a K-pop idol, but my parents don’t support me at ALL, and if I got in, they wouldn’t let me travel to Korea. I’m an M.E Asian( Middle-eastern Asian) so I do kinda fit into the Korean standard, yk heartshaped lips, a bit of aegyo-Sal and a thin face, yet I don’t have white skin, Im not slim but I’m not fat and I have almond eyes, i dont know about my singing skills, I mean I think they are 50/50 they are good but not the best, dancing skills I actually don’t know I never really dance, but I think I would be good at it even tho I’m not flexible, I learn pretty fast. For my personality I think I’m not bad but not perfect, I mean my teacher thinks I’m charming, smart, funny, empathetic, generous and nice. But that’s her thoughts not theirs. I can even speak 3 languages and currently learning 2 The main reason I can’t is my parents bc, even if the company I’m in gives me a free flight to Korea, my parents wouldn’t let me. So that’s the main reason I can’t it’s actually kind of like a prison (kinda bc they don’t support me for who I am and who I want to be and they don’t let me be free and they forget that I’m not 10 anymore and that I am actually mature now.

This is brutally honest, so PLEASE read at your own discretion. 1.) It will be difficult (but not impossible :) ) for you to get into companies, simply because of what country you were born in. 2.) It's good that you fit the standards, but I'd recommend taking some singing classes along with it 3.) You do seem like a smart and well-educated, which is a major bonus- make sure to be kind and polite in front of judges if you were to audition 4.) The parents. This is going to be really difficult for you- not going to sugar-coat it. Your parents just want to protect you, and you are probably 12-15, which is still EXTREMELY young- and they see you as their precious little girl. They want the best for you, and the industry is freaking brutal! You are going to have a hard time. 5.) If you do debut, you are going to face a lot of hate and racism from a very young age. be prepared. 6.) If you do debut, I'll Stan you! You are already my bias lol 🤩

You forgot about beauty, you should be attractive enough. Let's say everyone is equally talented then ofcourse they're gonna choose the most good looking. In reality idols looks attractive. If not then they're one of the most talented.
i wanna do this but at the moment the only thing in the video i've accomplished is, well, being korean. i'm from a korean family and was raised with korean culture. my dad is a church singer and i get some of my singing skills from him but i still need to work on technique. i also don't know what to tell my parents because they will def laugh and think i'm joking when i tell them i want to become an idol.

Hey u Let me tell you a story Once a girl . She was not Korean but wanted to become kpop idol . She knows that her parents will didn't allow her to go to audition. She secretly did training at home by learning from UA-cam . She sing everyday dance everyday. When she thinks she is perfect to complete audition. She did online audition secretly ( if you don't know how to do learn from Google or UA-cam) she pass it and Surprise her parents but her parents didn't allow her but she was requesting and parents can't see their kid crying 😭 so they let her go Korea and becoming kpop idol unfortunately she fail to debut but she didn't tell to her parents and know she is a successful kactress and a model But you are Korean your father is a church you can tell him to teach you singing at least some tips do it Don't ever says you can't do it Good luck 🤞
If you would really want to be one then you could try to search dance tutorials on the internet and practice for at least 2 hours a day (even singing) but remember to see the advantages and disadvantages of being a kpop idol before making a final decision
I'm 12 and want to become an idol, many times i've heard people say i'm a good singer (due to me going on a talent show at my school). I have a good flow when it comes to rapping and can memorise dances pretty good. If i had to rate my skills it would be: Singing: 7/10 Rapping: 6/10 Dancing: 5/10 I'm not Super good but not Super bad 😞 I need some more tips on all 3!! If you’re talking about dance, whatever you dance are most comfortable doing then that’s probably your style! If you’re talking about singing, then find a song that suits you vocal and is comfortable singing for you!!!
From what I know you should NOT choose a song from the company, some people said its best if you choose english songs and that you should master tge song for your audition

You can’t addition in your 20s. You could try for jyp or other entertainment companies that have a no age limit. Most companies accept trainees from 15-19
So take vocal classes , because if you are interested in vocal then , but rapping is not bad too , you can audition with your rapping skills if you think your vocal sucks
If you want to audition for 4 big companies then here is the answer :- YG :- Rap JYP :- stage presence and dance HYBE :- you should be all rounder like, you should know dance,vocals,rap,stage presence and producing songs , yes, it's tought but if you have all these talents or can improve these then you can do it SM :- visuals and vocal. I know that all companies focus more on visual but SM focus completely on visuals and if your visual is not good they will tell you to do plastic surgery and if you will not listen to them then you aren't allowed to debut. I'm 12 and want to become an idol, many times i've heard people say i'm a good singer (due to me going on a talent show at my school). I have a good flow when it comes to rapping and can memorise dances pretty good. If i had to rate my skills it would be:
Singing: 7/10
Rapping: 6/10
Dancing: 5/10
I'm not Super good but not Super bad 😞 I need some more tips on all 3!! (it would be helpful) I haven't told my parents yet about auditioning to kpop companies except 2 times i tried hinting at it (they didn't get the hint) I'm in a big loss rn i dont know how to tell them

if its your dream do it !! if youre not so sure abt debuting, u could study while being a trainee or idol so if it dosen’t work out, you have another career to go to !
You should join JYP! They only look for talent and personality!! Plus there are auditions for non-koreans :)

I think you can audition but you must not hide your scars and explain to them because by lying about one thing the company might not trust you anymore because they might think you might lie to the agency in the future 🫶

If you’re talking about dance, whatever you dance are most comfortable doing then that’s probably your style! If you’re talking about singing, then find a song that suits you vocal and is comfortable singing for you!!!

I'm 13 and want to become an idol. I'm pretty, a good dancer, good rapper, I speak fluently 2 languages, have a good level in english (B2) and start learning korean.
The problem(s) is that I'm a bad singer (I think that's because I have litteraly no technique),I am totaly European (I know now there some idols that aren't even asians but still) and my mother will never accept (I have an half-korean friend who've said that he want to be an idol and have even auditionned, they were almost joking of him) but I know that my father's never gonna stop me, and my mother couldn't make her dreams come true, so maybe if I prove her that that's my dream she's gonna accept ?
Still, I don't have the courage to tell my family that and I gonna wait a little bit to improve, but if you have advices on anything, can you share them with me please ?

You can’t addition in your 20s. You could try for jyp or other entertainment companies that have a no age limit. Most companies accept trainees from 15-19

So take vocal classes , because if you are interested in vocal then , but rapping is not bad too , you can audition with your rapping skills if you think your vocal sucks

you cant really know because its different for everybody so just audition to as many as possible
If you want to audition for 4 big companies then here is the answer :-
YG :- Rap
JYP :- stage presence and dance
HYBE :- you should be all rounder like, you should know dance,vocals,rap,stage presence and producing songs , yes, it's tought but if you have all these talents or can improve these then you can do it
SM :- visuals and vocal.
I know that all companies focus more on visual but SM focus completely on visuals and if your visual is not good they will tell you to do plastic surgery and if you will not listen to them then you aren't allowed to debut.

Yes every idol is on a diet when we look at pre-debut photos we can see that the idols are already thin but they still follow the diet and also exercise
