I mean you got some songs/albums that a big rapper/singer makes specifically for those reasons & they know it’ll work cuz they have the machine behind them pushing it, but even big artists can do that & it works to an extent but lots of times their biggest songs weren’t those, they were just songs that sparked & caught. Moral to the story I guess is if you’re trying for that, it’s probably gon feel like you trying too hard, if JoJo had tried to start a whole movement/make history it wouldn’t have done what it did

I never understood why dudes be dissin each other online, drop their location and expect nothing to happen. I feel like as people for our sanity, our brains try their best to make us think we can never die. Plus, killing people over Twitter was relatively new so I would bet people severely underestimated how bad someone could want them dead. That and I’d imagine dropping your own location makes you feel like a real one

Then, you never know if they’ll ever show up and if they do, what will happen. There’s so many instances where people find others, even without them dropping their location and killing them over something so dumb. I was always told by my mother not to ever let anyone know where I lived when I’d play Xbox when I was young and as I got older, I’d see all these stories of people getting killed for the smallest things. You never know what some people are willing to do. It doesn’t make you tough or anything other than dumb for telling them exactly where you live so if they’re close enough, they can get to you at anytime they want to and you’d never expect it.
