I liked Crystal a lot. She was a good contrast to the other ladies' madness and over the top and performative reactions. She was more clear and humble, and that's why she's been axed. Such a pity. She's Benn growing a lot from her previous seasons, being more and more confident. She'll be missed. Loved her friendship with Garcelle and Sutton. The powerfuff girls!
Crystal is NOT Clear. She spent 2 seasons saying Sutton said "Dark things," that proved to not be bad at all & was actually the Opposite of what Crystal suggested. She is beyond Indirect, NEVER says it plain, & straight up Lies. In this 2min 45 sec clip she still couldn't give a Direct answer. She was Boring & FIRED.

Crystal ended the show on a good note. She left a winner and on top and that's the best way to depart. These shows are toxic as hell.

Crystal wasn't asked back because she's too "clean" - she is honest, candid, caring, she has 2 children, a husband, happily married, a multi-million self-run business she started at a young age, a well established circle of celebrity friends and non-celebrity friends - Bravo's so-called "housewife" needs to be someone who is corrupt, dramatic, scandalized and controversial, none of these things that Crystal is.

I think Crystal was finding her stride and her place on the show but im glad she's at peace with the decision and we know she'll be fine without it
so finally, when crystal found her footing and i actually really liked how real and honest she seemed, they fire her from REAL housewives... i honestly didn't care she didn't show much of her family, i prefer to see the HW interact with each other so this was really bad decision.

It was a good decision on Bravo's part to let her go. She really wanted to try to curate how she appeared in the show by offering a lot of "Non Answer" answers or comments and you just cannot be cagey like that. You're either all in, or you are out. Half answers don't make for good TV. I'm waiting for PK & Dorit's "Break-in Gate" to come to light. There's no way in hell a group of burglars smash in a sliding glass door and no one hears it, the kids aren't awakened and Dorit is surprised in her bedroom. It has never made sense. And PK is shady enough to concoct something like that for ratings AND insurance $$$.

Why did they decide to do that to her when she has become more interesting to watch during the last season? I don't get the rational. She's definitely more interesting than Dorit or many of the others.
When Crystal first joined RHOBH in 2021, the massive cyber bullying and hate comments she received online was horrific and harsh to even look at, people attacked her for beefing with the unhinged “I don’t see color” Sutton and all that…Then it escalated to the racial level when people started to attack her Chinese ethnicity when the anti-Asian hate sentiment was just right at peak during that period of time, it must be a lot for her to dealt with while being the first Asian housewife to ever be casted on RHOBH

Decent people didn't need Crystal to 'give more' of her family - it was fab having her speak up for Sutton and Garcelle...wish she was coming back because she brought fun and made it a great trio...
Crystal will never, ever, regret leaving and keeping her firm boundaries. The show and Bravo as a whole has become so dark and dysfunctional if you have even a halfway decent life you should run.
Not having Crystal next season will be a bummer! Such a loss for RHOBH!!

This make sense what Crystal is saying! Each year she been on the show, so many of the UA-camrs and Podcasters wanted more from her. If they wanted more from her, you can only imagine what Bravo wanted. I know everyone wants to paint firings as black and white but there’s a lot nuances that happen in these scenario’s!
We all saw the uncomfortable mess of what happens when you cling on for too long, Lisa Rinna-style. I always liked Crystal and she went on a high note.
I would have liked to see at least one more season with Crystal. I feel like Garcelle, Sutton and Crystal have been the most entertaining to watch over the last season, and my fantasy RHOBH leeague for next season would have been Garcelle, Sutton and Crystal - with the return of Denise, Kathy and Kim - and put Erika, Dorit and Kyle on pause!!!! Goodbye Kyle 😂

I knew that was a surprised and envious look on Andy's face at the reunion when he learned that Crystal owns a multi million, or did she say a billion Dollar business?, that SHE'S owned from a young age to present day. I thought to myself, now they know she's richer in her own right, than his favourite Kyle, they'll probably want to get rid of her, for that matter, she's richer than ALL OF THEM on that show, Kathy included, bcuz she married money. So I defo was not surprised they let Crystal go, plus she is not up for the dirty dealings like Kyle, Erika Giradi, Dorit and Lisa rhinna are. And, although Kathy tries to play miss sweet, innocent and ditsy, I'm sure her nasty side will come out REAL SOON!!!

she started great, then decided to pander to twitter and befriend mewma and garcelle in addition to not saying anything besides in confessionals so she got fired.

When you’re too nice and play safe, producers have a hard time working with you, so you’re given the axe.
Crystal is a snob and thinks she is better than others. The way she controls her brothers life is disturbing.
A lot of hit and misses with Crystal, but one moment will always supersede the rest: Immediately shielding, removing, and checking on Jax as soon as Erika cursed him out, at his own mother’s birthday party. Meanwhile, mother-of-two Dorit remained seated and said zilch. Erika later gave a half-assed apology but couldn’t be bothered to take off her sunglasses.
Adding to the stink of it all is recalling a few seasons back in Hong Kong when Eileen’s innocently misworded analogy resulted in an eviscerstion from Miss Erika “Don’t-Talk-About-My-Son” Jayne.
RHOBH is my favorite franchise (thanks to Garcelle & Sutton), but it definitely sucks that we lose classy ladies like Eileen and Crystal while Erika and Dorit remain.
Its not hard- you wanna give in- you get the airtime. If you dont- you dont.
At the end of the day its a reality show about drama. No drama = boring. She probably wasnt willing to make a fool of herself and her family so they said NEXT.

Crystal was tedious AF. I haven’t finished watching her appearances, but my god, she was way too sensitive about everything. Her privilege is through the roof. I found her to be unbelievably annoying, honestly.

Crystal wasn't renewed because she's boring. It was pretty clear how little she was in this season that she was going to get the boot. It's funny that she pretends it was somewhat her decision, though.

I think production was scared of Crystal's trajectory on the show. Her entire storyline is basically one of a protagonist.
She shows up on the show. She's got the credentials to be on the show. She carries more weight than the average newcomer because RHOD got canceled because of the racism that transpired between members of the cast and Tiffany Moon right before her debut on RHOBH. Tiffany Moon, being the victim, somehow got the brunt of the backlash, citing her as a catalyst for destruction. I think this is one of the main reasons Crystal was much more reserved in her first season than the second or third. This kind of helps with the narrative of a protagonist, which I will explain at the end.
Crystal js still reserved in her second season but allows herself to be vulnerable by speaking candidly about her ED, which humanizes her and gains consistent support from Erika.
Erika is important in this narrative because though Erika is attached to the main group (Kyle, Dorit) Erika has been slowly distancing herself from the antics caused by the main group, which I feel is more apparent in this last season. Also the main group has been under scrutiny these last two seasons for essentially being mean girls and calling for Kyle and Dorit (mostly) to be removed from the show. Erika, due to her proximity and the scandal) received the same criticism, just not as much.
Then you have the other group- Garcelle and Sutton. They hit it off day one. They becomes the new Kyle/Teddy but audiences like both of them. They also have no issues speaking their mind or disrupting peace to address misinformation or drama, but rather than drag it on to prolong the drama, they want to resolve it and move on. Combined with all of this and their individual credentials, they become the new fan favorites.
Anybody who has ever played any JRPG or read a fantasy novel can see what's happening here.
Kyle, Dorit, and Erika are the militarized government, oppressing those around them with their status and resources. They have the numbers to make this happen.
Garcelle and Sutton are the rebel army of unlikely companions who organize to stop the expanding takeover from the other side.
Crystal is the hero. She is the diamond in the rough. The savior. This seems extra. I get it. Facts are still facts.
Crystal has no alliance with either party but has successfully remained neutral for two whole seasons of reality TV. Hardly any media involving her unless it's the leather pants, her ED, just cut cutaways of Crystal being present during a situation. This last season, Crystal's media presence was snowballing. She was everywhere. People were loving and responding well to Crystal being more vocal and challenging the main group. Not to make a moment, but because Crystal was tired of the politics and not speaking up when information wasn't making sense.
Now we have to talk about her credentials that almost never come up after her first season.
Crystal has the #1 coconut water company in the world. She is a descendant of Chinese scholar Confucius. She is married to Rob Minkoff, the man responsible for the golden age of Disney animation. Mother of two. Had two acting credits prior to her joining RBOBH and gained one acting credit in 2022 for Zootopia+ and another in 2023 for History of the World: Part 2. Crystal was becoming "the new Supreme".
Factor all of this and add the public scrutiny of Kyle and Dorit, the call to have them removed, Erika not being dumb enough to stand on a sinking ship, the trajectory favors Crystal as the new center diamond.
And the franchise would suffer because of it because the primary demographic of viewers will kever accept Crystal as a center diamond, despite the fact that she is the most qualified.

Crystal doesn't seem to be honest in answering questions. I think it is clear she already knew during her last time on JLL that she wasn't asked to return on Housewives. Why didn't she just say that she wanted to make a separate announcement on insta after she had time to process, etc. instead of lying about still being in conversations with Bravo. I doubt if Bravo cared about her input and just wanted to explain to her in person why they decided to let her go. Perhaps she wanted more money and they didn't agree. She was boring on the show and kept playing the race card by insinuating Sutton was racist without any clear evidence or examples. I did like her on JLL when she was on with Michael Beck so maybe she'll end up on a different show.
