Given the state in which the world lies, we are living in the ending times so Jesus` return has never been closer then now... I'm singing this song at the end of our community Easter drama. I can't help but think of my mother-in-law and her battle with cancer. A little over three years ago she was sent home from the doctors office and told she had six months to live. Her journey through this portion of her life has not been easy but she truly has brought glory to the kingdom of God through it. Never in my life have I seen someone demonstrate God's love like she has. Thank you God for putting Reba in my life!

In another 200 or so years Jesus will be replaced, and the story rewritten into another astrological literary hybrid to fool people to conform. Not to bash it entirely, there are some genuinely nice qualities about religion. It gives people hope and makes them nice to fellow believers in good practice.

There is a lot we don't know from a scientific standpoint, and a lot we will never know. One thing I do know, is that the Christian religion along with many others is filled with many similarities. Wishful thinking. If God is real, he sure does a good job of stomping on my heart personally. I lost my oldest nephew in a skiing accident, I lost my grandmother, and I just lost my aunt after suffering for months within a 5 month stretch. God as you call it just wants your money.. No atheist ever blew up a building to my knowledge. I'd accept it easier if it was more accepting and tolerant. Gays are people too, but they still don't have equal rights. If he is real, he hates my guts.

I find songs like "Bring the rain" or "Homesick" by Mercy me help me praise. Pain that is emotional pain He can heal, in fact any kind of pain is easy for Christ to heal, but sometimes He lets us walk through it for Him, because others we will meet will walk this pain alone. yes the only thing that matter Is worshiping the LORD, this life isent about us, its about him and him alone, now you can persue those ambitions, goals, love and care for your family, but he comes first, also when you leave this world, you will also leave all of those things behind, which is what i was tryying to say. In heaven we won't have sin, thus no desire to do anything like we do down here. amung many other things. The only desire is to serve and worship the one who gave his live for us

Beautiful song... God is so good. Sometimes I can't get over how far removed people are from Christianity, what's important to Christians, who Christ is... It's not always, in fact not often, that Christians are ignorant to science and discovery but that atheists (par example) are ignorant to Christianity and particularly in young people. I know so many friends who watch "Easy A" and walk out thinking that's what Christianity is and it's very sad.

Amazing how powerful a song can be. Amazing too how this song has helped me to cope with the loss of my son. My hope in Jesus has given me strength that has allowed me to continue, this song reminds me to keep my hope strong. "Praise you in the storm" another great song for those who might loose focus on the real objective. Sadness is beyond belief, grief that knows no bounds is wiped away. Not to bash it entirely, there are some genuinely nice qualities about religion. It gives people hope and makes them nice to fellow believers in good practice.

He doesn't just say he loves you, He proves it with his grace everyday. He sent Jesus to show you truth and love because he wants you, and he is jealous for you. He will never let you go. @StolenDestruction Thank you for your sympathy and advisement. I have done a lot of soul searching and reading on this topic though. With respect, I just still don't see it. There is a lot we don't know from a scientific standpoint, and a lot we will never know. One thing I do know, is that the Christian religion along with many others is filled with many similarities. If you have any recommended readings feel free to advise, but I recommend you watch Zietgiest. It's free.
@B20utterfly Well I have gay friends that can't get married because they are gay. Because people in government believe marriage is "a sacred institution between a man and a woman". If you believe that, fine. But they shouldn't force their position on others when u are free to believe what you want. If it's an issue with them, they should worry about their family members and friends. Not others. How about letting everyone decide what marriage means to themselves. Just saying.

Wishful thinking. If God is real, he sure does a good job of stomping on my heart personally. I lost my oldest nephew in a skiing accident, I lost my grandmother, and I just lost my aunt after suffering for months within a 5 month stretch. God as you call it just wants your money.. No atheist ever blew up a building to my knowledge. I'd accept it easier if it was more accepting and tolerant. Gays are people too, but they still don't have equal rights. If he is real, he hates my guts.

Just remember that God is always with you, and no matter what you do, He will always love you. I come from a strong Christian family, but that is not to say I haven't struggled with sin, and especially with my Christianity. @2122lovelife "He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him" It is hard to get into that place in the midst of the trial but I find praising Him helps. I find songs like "Bring the rain" or "Homesick" by Mercy me help me praise. Pain that is emotional pain He can heal, in fact any kind of pain is easy for Christ to heal, but sometimes He lets us walk through it for Him, because others we will meet will walk this pain alone. @thewilliam206 it is not that I can't stand that they believe in something beside Jesus, it is that as a Christian we are told to tell the WORLD about JESUS, this means even people who believe in other gods and religions. It is not coming from a place of HATE but from a place of LOVE and OBEDIENCE. Jesus said that there is no other way to the Father but through Him (John 14:6). Either He is telling the truth or He is telling a lie. I believe Him, trust Him, and love Him; so I share Him.

Last nite, I had dream of heaven and when the raputre came. I rarely remember dreams like I did this one. My family and I were together with my passed away family and we were happy and rejoicing to God. We were perfect and I felt good in the dream.
