Hello Tasha 😊 try and enjoy the moment and time you have when you go away. You know you really don't need to have a gym for your journey. There are some fabulous & very easy exercises that people post on instagram and TikTok that you can do them in your own privacy. I don't live near a gym, but I'm going to start the exercises and walk at least 30 mins a day. Remember bit by bit and don't put too much pressure on yourself, thinking you should be able to do it! Small steps. Wishing you well on your journey ❤Jen

I know exactly what you’re talking about I struggle the same ways. Small steps sweetie. Go walking down the hallways. I invested in a treadmill and bike. I try and walk ( everyday) and bike( 15 minutes) every little bit of exercise helps. Keep going, don’t give up. Watching from Canada 🇨🇦

Cute outfit! It made me sad to see you crying, but I get it. Life is rough sometimes. Just remember you are worthy, you are loved, you are enough, and you are valuable!!!! Keep trying girl. I walk laps in my apartment to get some exercise in. I went from not even getting 1k steps to now getting 4-6k steps. Even a little progress is still progress. You got this girl!!!💙💙

Instead of ordering the iced coffee from Mickey Disease, can you make your own? If going without sweetener is a bridge too far, how about just gradually reducing it? (Or you could mix in a SMALL amount of kombucha to sweeten it.) Your taste buds will adapt by becoming more sensitive.

Tasha, you need to try a fiber-rich Mediterranean/DASH/MIND diet. That's my normal diet, NOT a special diet. Diet culture never pushes it even though it's approved by most doctors and cardiologists. The dietary fiber, protein, and healthy fats satisfy my appetite. My calories, carbs, points, and weight take care of themselves. Take that, keto, carnivore, Paleo, Whole 30, SouthBeach, Weight Watchers, Slim Fast, NutriSystem, Jenny Craig, BeachBody, and Biggest Loser!
If making all the changes I think you should make seems like too much at once, then just pick out a few of the easiest and most impactful ones to normalize first. Once you've normalized them, pick out a few of the easiest and most impactful of the remaining improvements to normalize next. Then rinse and repeat until you're consuming a diet as healthy as mine. (It's been over 4 years since I've eaten any deep-fried foods.)

Could you stop eating out? Try making your own burgers, lettuce wrap instead of bread. You are trying, that is what matters. Can you go for a short walk? Every bit helps.

I know it's much more difficult to eat healthy when traveling, but can you at least avoid the deep-fried foods? Out of all the junk foods out there, deep-fried foods are the worst of the worst. The reasons go FAR BEYOND calories, weight, or even blood cholesterol. All that oil is already unhealthy when it's fresh from the factory. The more time the oil spends in a hot state, the more it accumulates trans fats, carcinogens, and oxidation products. The fast food joints and other restaurants reuse that oil MANY, MANY times over. This MULTIPLIES your risk of cancer, a heart attack, a stroke, dementia, Alzheimer's, and many other diseases many times over.
