My favorite for assist is the P-51C, 4 12.7mm MG, 3.7 BR you just have to climb to damage bomber's engine or follow until a furball appear. But this BP is soo trash :( Unbelievable. First time since 3 BP I skip.
I mean the guns are a just bunch of M240s/FN MAGs. Great for tearing up infantry and light vehicles but idk what people are expecting against aircraft.
@@andreasaa2000 Given that: a single 240 is considered accurate on a tripod out to 1000yds for area targets, and 7.62x51 will absolutely drop a person at that distance, and it weighs half as much as an M2 while also being much smaller, and having ammo that also takes up much less space, and being the highest casualty producing weapon in an infantry squad… it’s probably adequate for what it’s used for irl. It’s a trainer sometimes used in the light attack role. If you have a hole in your chest or the engine block of your Toyota Hilux you probably won’t be going “🤓 thank goodness it’s only 7.62.” Both scenarios you’re gonna stop moving, and if it’s something heavier or troop concentrations then you employ ordnance as required. Doctrines for aircraft like this probably place more emphasis on employing the rockets or bombs than the guns anyways, but I’m not a fighter pilot so what do I know.
What is interesting is while not, as far as I'm aware, recorded as being used for them. It was designed to carry two 20mm pods, although I doubt Gaijin would ever add those for this. Or at least, if they did it probably wouldn't have remotely as much ammo as it did irl, which varies source to source but generally remains low compared to other planes with cannons.
If they add 20mm, they will have a very hard chalenge. Move it up Cuz the shit weapons aren't an excuse anymore, or make the 20mm almost as bad as the 7mm, maybe by making it have almost no ammo, or by making it a very slow fire rate, or something else

They actually are. In one of the Dev notes, they talked about a system they are working on that would split the points between the person who critically damaged them and the one who finished the enemy off.
Didn't one of the battlefield games implement a thing called "Assist counts as kill" where it awarded the same amount of points as a kill if you did enough damage to knock out the majority of someone's health?
Malzi, please, I'm going insane trying to find the guy screaming sound effect for when a 2S6 or Pantsir are shooting (and I think it's the same one at 2:27).
I'm both happy and sad that I'm not the only one with this experience. After having the same experience I use mine for taking out light ground targets and only fight other planes when forced to. Still love the plane though
The BAC 167 Strikemaster is a British jet-powered training and light attack aircraft. It was a development of the Hunting Jet Provost trainer, itself a jet engined version of the Percival Provost, which originally flew in 1950 with a radial piston engine.
POV: you’re learning why late war planes shifted to using 12.7+mm guns
And to the eventual 20mm and 30mm guns
Gotta love Gaijin's damage model for planes, either you get a kill with one burst or waste all the ammo for it due to sparks.
that's normal if u compare 7.62 and 20 or 30mm
depends what you hit obviously
Bruh, ofc a plane would have more chance of survive a 7.7mm machine gun and less change to survive a 20,23,50mm cannon.
yeah but what isn't normal is how many times ive seen youtubers hit rockets and they just spark off of an enemy plane@@mehdiidrissi8190
@@anttondesperben377 Often enough it doesn't matter what you hit.

Turns out that taking a dedicated CAS plane into ARB isn't very effective, something that apparently comes as a surprise to many youtubers.

Classic British vehicle, doesn't do much damage and gets a lot of assists.
Strikemaster is actually good at sustaining energy. I wouldnt recommend headons
VERY good.
Honestly 7.62 can do work, but you have to lower the convergence a lot and fight close range. Still nothing like a cannon though.
I love how you are using memes very subtle and don't go overboard like a lot of other WT UA-camrs
I like how synchronized everyone is
And now Malzi knows what spitfire Mk1 pilots went through in the battle of britain. It's called a STRIKEmaster, not a plane master lol
