Even the announcers from Telemunso were acknowledging Miss India. When she walked out in the evening gown competition, one simply said “wow” and I think that is how we all felt about Miss India. Simply WOW. I loooooove her

I even had her as my prediction to win Miss Universe and I'm so happy that she won because she definitely remained consistent and perseverant and showed the universe why India is a pageant powerhouse. Yes its true, it should be bea and it should be SA and India n the top 2 but unfortunately judges choose Paraguay over phils and over SA. Congratulations Ms. India. Well deserved. Content wise I really liked the thought of Ms. South Africa, very smart and truthful in real life. The only think she lacked is power, conviction, and genuinely meeting the eyes. Whereas Ms. India diverted it to something specific, something she relate to herself. Also, her delivery was amazing, very convincing and more impactful. Nonetheless, congrats to these girls.
She will be the most successful miss universe candidate ever in the future. I am sure she will get a lot of multimillion bollywood film offers. Her face is pretty and that is what bollywood biggies are looking for. The bollywood film directors are tired of launching actors' daughter and son. Definitely she will give a new taste in film industry. She will receive a millions of sponsors as India is a very big country.

I absolutely loved Paraguay, India and Philippines but ofcourse I wanted India to win. Phillipines is so gracious even in their loss that you can't help but respect the country and love their delegates but damn some people from Paraguay are being such sore losers that it is absolutely not classy at all. Resorting to catty remarks, trolls, taking unflattering low quality screenshots from Harnaaz's videos where she is midway saying something and comparing it to the fully done up HD photoshoot pictures of Miss Paraguay. It's just a new low honestly. These people from Paraguay are making people lose the respect that their beautiful delegate earned for their country.
Countries like Phillipines who have experience being at the top are so classy and respectful even when their delegates don't place.
Shout out from South Africa to all the fans and supporters from India.

Paraguay was a surprise making it to Top 3 and finishing as 1sr RU... Face value aside, I think it's a huge factor that she answered with conviction and she projects loke she really believe in her answer, which is her edge over Philippines and Colombia, and latter with South Africa. I think it was an advantage for her that the judges are all actresses, models or beauty pageant, so most of them most probably gives a lot of weight on how the contestants answer the questions.
For me paraguay gave the least favorable answer over the top 5 girls. Placement should be

Correction: SA wasn’t the fan vote, but Vietnam. Apologies for this-as I mentioned in the video, the live show was challenging to access because it was aired in exclusive channels I didn’t have ready access to. I saw a pageant blog that marked SA as fan vote so that was my basis. But regardless, the point remains that SA gave MORE REASONS THAN ONE to make her country proud.

Nope.... she should answered about vaccinated and unvaccinated not all body can handle the vaccine of each individual...so vaccine passport is not for all. I wish she answers like Catriona Gray... but we are happy of being in top 5.

The point here is, who gave the most relevant answer between Bea and Paraguay? That would be Bea I think.

Finally! I totally agree with your assessments! Especially with bea’s question that the vaccination passports haven’t been really an issue. The more polarizing issue is about mandatory vaccinations. But still very proud and happy with her placement!!!
The question for Bea might suggest a yes/no Q&A, which she answered with a yes to mandates. But there are gray (and political) areas surrounding vaccine mandates. Simply acknowledging that is already a better answer. She started well with saying "public health is everyone's responsibility." But each country is different. Covid is ever changing, so each country will have to keep adapting and make the necessary adjustments. And whatever their mandate may be, we should respect it as global citizens (or universal rather :)). If the best way to end this pandemic once and for all is a universal vaccine passport, then why not each of us do our part? A universal change starts with you and me. That's why I'm now fully vaccinated. (Something to that effect).
The other approach would be to look at it from vaccine access standpoint. More important than a universal vaccine passport is universal access to vaccines, from the richest to poorest countries, for all citizens of the world.

Miss Philippines answered really well. She was just nervous but she did well. I think she answered the best for me (I’m South African) Lalela’s last few words definitely fumbled but she did so well
South Africa did amazing last night. I think what would have pushed for her to get that crown was finishing strong with her answers. She answered well but the ending wasn’t as strong as Paraguay or India’s delivery. Over all, Lalela was still amazing!

Sana maging united na lahat ng pinoy (isantabi muna ang business or personal issues) come Miss Universe season in the coming years kasi afterall CAPITAL P.H.I.L.L.I.P.I.N.E.S pa din naman ang sinisigaw ng bawat rep natin. Casual interview with Harnaaz was the best among her three answers. It was so unexpected as she mentioned. It's not everyday we are ask to do such mimicing in a huge stage and if it was me I would have literally fainted on the spot. But Harnaaz really handled it the with sass and grace. I was nervous when she was asked to do that but also so happy to see her confidence and bravery.
And some salty haters are making fun of her and calling her names for that. She was so sporty that she actually did that. Only a self assured person can do that at such a big stage. And she finished the mimicking with such a strong supporting statement. She is the rightful choice. Well deserved!

Love the questions this year, I was hoping for these kind of questions for years now and MUO not just giving us the best stage after 2018, they gave us a SHOW, from that stage deisgn, lights, camera angles and the hallelujah number are all perfect for this years 70th edition.
Bea made us all proud and I hope that her journey will served ia reminder fo all the fans that OOTds will not determine your faith. Its your hardwork, determination and being true to your core and that was Bea on that stage!

Agree! I just hope that the candidates were given more air time for their ramp and end poses. But everything else went great.
To be honest South Africa gave an amazing answer but I don't think it was a sharp point answer I mean 30%, where as india started simple and normalish but as it went on it was just power and she was just on point from the start. Plus her delivery and presentation on her answer gave he an edge and advantage 💫❤. I also feel like South Africa was sure 1st runner up but her final look was not that strong and so Paraguay took the chance 😭

I'm actually not impressed about Miss SA's answer. She may have given it with conviction but I would not result to cancelling. Forgiving and redemption is always welcomed but cancelling, especially, what was asked involved teenager, is not a queenly attitude. Teenagers are less rational and less mature and may resort to twitting impulsively. To err is human, and yes, she may have redeemed herself by inserting "redemption culture" but it's an amicable action to educate rather than cancel. It's more agreeable to understand rather than propagate hate.

I believe not only due to you are a prepared, it's simply because you really shine up to delivering your answer the most. France prepares two years for this. Paraguay also prepared longer than to the rest of Top 4 candidates that was crowned in their respective national pageant 3 or 2 months ago? USA have a shortest preparation for this competition but she made it up to Top 10. It's really a consistency of shining moment from the day of your national reign up to international coronation night.
