Great Job, Bertie! Loved watching every minute. Your enthusiasm and humor make it all the more fun. Hope you can get out there and find the next adventure soon. Thank you to you and your "team".
Well done Bertie! Good on you! Been hoping for you and with you and now the pay off. Its moving. Thanks for taking us along for an amazing adventure. Kind regards from Würzburg Germany
I had a very similar moment two months ago. But closer, with a pack of Iberian Wolves near a dead cow and in a mountainous area. Spectacular feeling! Please people, take care of Nature.
So exciting! I love living on the island. I had an encounter with a Vancouver Island wolf at Sandcut Beach on the southwest coast. Quite spectacular. The two of us just stared at each other for awhile before the wolf retreated.
Yayyyy!!! What a beautiful animal. So happy your found her. I thought for a moment she was gonna stick her snout right in your tent!! I am looking forward to the next season!! (ok, I may have teared up a little when she finally appeared)
My little "boy" is a terrier Havanese mix who'd likes to think of himself as a Mexican Grey Wolf. He puts on a good game. If you don't know him you'd think he wants to devour you. Then he catches up to you and sits fully expecting you'll want to pet him and love him to death! He loves everybody he meets. But he has an image to protect!
Sadly, Bertie has missed the real story. Some wolves on Vancouver Island are habituated to people, due to the impact of just this type of behaviour. It illustrates E.O. Wilson's 'biophilia' and our need to connect with wildlife, but more importantly the costs of this need and human behaviour, on wildlife. Some regions on the Island region have significant issues with human - wildlife conflict, ultimately threatening their survival. A missed opportunity by National Geographic to contribute to wildlife conservation by educating the public and modelling appropriate behaviour, when approached by wolves by 'hazing' - and scaring them off.
I’m trying to see the content of these shows but it seems to be mainly about the presenter. Don’t waste your time, all his stuff is really about how much he loves the sound and sight of himself
Also, it's frustrating and insulting that editors keep cutting every shot after 90 seconds as if we have attention span of a gnat. Would love to see this superb footage of the wolf float across the whole entire sand bar without cuts. Don't need the hype. It's jarring and distracting.
Kinda makes you think 🤔 Do you think these animals actually wash up? Or they place the kill their. I saw an alligator with a ham that looked like you can get it at any store
If you're going to have someone with an accent whispering and mumbling through the whole thing….do something with the volume! I have a mac with good volume and couldn't understand much of what he said.
English isn't even my first language and my laptop is rather crappy and I was still perfectly able to understand him. The volume wasn't even at 100% maybe try using headphones or something :)
You can get paid for doing that? I've been doing it for exercise and excitement. Lots of wolves on Long Beach. I see their tracks every time I go. Hopefully I'll get more videos this winter.
Great job, Bertie! Way to go!
His reaction to the wolf when he finally sees it is so perfect 😂
Simply gorgeous creature! Her elegant trot, shiny fur, and stunning color! What a treat!
The soundtrack when the wolf appears is 👌🏻🤩
Awesome job. Really enjoyed this web series.
I really love this series and would love to see more of Bertie Gregory! He has some amazing shots and close up encounters with a lot of wildlife.
Thanks for sharing a coastal wolf with us, Bertie!

Carolyn Jones That wolf is beautiful how can people hate them?
Wolves are awesome, I've been learning about them since I was in 4th grade. I know from my heart that there is no hate spot about the wolf

daw, what a good sport she was
yayyyyyyyyyyy! 💕👏
When is this series coming back with more episodes? I’ve watching out for more for a year now

Yesssssss
Less Bertie more sea wolf please 😂
i wonder how much his camera gear is......
At the end of this I was confused when I didn't hear "Reply All is hosted by PJ Vogt and me, Alex Goldman"
(outro song is Westwood (Instrumental) by Breakmaster Cylinder, for anyone who wants to listen to it on repeat)
For a moment I thought the wolf notice Bertie?
Did you name her anything? I would have 😝 I name everything haha
He said single most, what was the most then?
Was it just my imagination or was that wolf tracking him? It looked like it was making a beeline for him.
Looks like a coyote-wolf hybrid.
Kinda makes you think 🤔
Do you think these animals actually wash up? Or they place the kill their. I saw an alligator with a ham that looked like you can get it at any store
Great job... Less episodes
Hahah okey to close
classic
hi
Do you know animaljam

Its not him the its just that the coastal wolf population is soo soo low that finding it is now veryvery hard
Aww.. You didn't want to play with her?
Its only about him not the animals... ugh spare me.
You can get paid for doing that? I've been doing it for exercise and excitement. Lots of wolves on Long Beach. I see their tracks every time I go. Hopefully I'll get more videos this winter.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I don't want to see your face dude, show me the footage
