The winner of the FA Cup should play a qualifier against 4th in the league for a champions league spot. It would add way more hype to the cup and teams wouldn’t just use it to rest player and start their second team or kids.
then every league's cup should do it, and it means there's a chance lower leagues can get UCL which doesn't make sense

@James Hetfield only 4 league would do it. The 4 leagues that get 4 champions leagues spots (premier league, La liga, Serie A, Bundesliga) the loser of the play off would go into Europa league and the winner into UCL. Most of the time the winner of the FA Cup finishes in the top 4 anyway so it’s actually a really good idea.
