It means something to me that Trusova isn’t on this list.
Yes 🔥
Maybe this channel was biased but I’d doubt it. Someone should check Russian nationals full competition and check Trusovas GOE
I love all these girls but there is something about trusova i just love i hope she medals at olympics
How are there are 3-3 combinations that have bigger GOE than Trusova’s quad lutz triple toe and triple sal combinations. This is unbelievable . They should of have some of the biggest GOE’s in the whole competition.
Her quad lutzes (combos) were underrotated, you can see it even without slow-motion.
@@airatmirsayapov8744 Only 4Lz < 1Eu +3S had UR 4Lz. O
4Lz+3T was fully rotated
@@saraehtor7753 due to all respect for Trusova, you can't get the biggest GOE with underrotated quad, and her landings on both quad combinations weren't that smooth, she can do waaay better.
@@airatmirsayapov8744 I am not agreeing on getting the highest GOE, I just told you she had only one UR quad. And about the landings it’s obvious she’s still injured, afraid pushing it with that type of injury wont do her any favor, but let’s see
Well - let’s see more impartial marking at the European Championships - next week ! Really appalling the “ favouritism” and blatant impartiality shown by the Russian judges !!
So Anna has better quality jumps than Sasha and Liza and Kami has better quality jumps than Sasha and Misha??? You wouldn't know by watching the actual jumps😅😅
No))
nope
I feel so sorry for the girls cause they receive all this hate while this is purely judges fault 🤦🏼♀️
I don't hate the skaters.
The problem is with being overscored they (and the coaches) have no incentive to improve technique
@@biscuitcase83 it's incredibly ignorant to say they have no incentive to improve, some of these flaws can't just be improved in little time. it'll throw their balance to relearn it again
@@amiratazkia
It's not ignorant at all.
If flawed technique and mistakes are being overlooked then they have no reason at all to make that change, which like you said is a difficult and often long process. Why would they bother reworking their jumps when they aren't getting penalised for it? The fact that it takes time makes it even less likely, it's time the Russian skaters don't really have as there are so many younger skaters who will take their place at the top.
Mao Asada relearned all her jumps but she had the luxury of far less domestic competition than what we see in Russia now
@@amiratazkia while i definitely agree its difficult to go back and learn good technique if you’ve already been taught a certain way (though it has been done before! see: mao asada) i think it is pretty obvious that eteri’s camp in particular have no benefits to relearning technique. if eteri’s girls are already getting these egregious scores with the technique they have, why should they bother? i think the ignorance here is trying to imply that they are not purposely doing this for advantageous reasons.
@@user-qs5ix4nj9r The girls were taught techniques which in their coaches' opinion lead to more rotations and therefore competitive advantage. I'm pretty sure the girls themselves are aware of their pre-rotations and suspect edges in lutz and flip jumps - they just were never taught that such techniques are “cheating" or a flaw that needs to be fixed, or their coaches decided there's nothing to be fixed. The judges and ISU are basically giving them a pass on this, so the cheated take offs persist. Who should take the most blame? People who make the rules and then decide not to follow them, of course.
The ISU does not validate Nationals scores, whatever the country, because they know skaters in domestic competitions are usually overscored. As far as I can see, only Japan does not overscore their skaters at their Nationals, or just a little.
anna’s flips and kami’s combos getting such high goe is ridiculous
i understand kami but not rlly anna's
@@rameneater5620 because the technique she uses is really bad, she jumps a floop basically
They share same GOE on 3F 1.89 ,Sasha 1.59 and others girl 1.51 or sth , 🙄
Ikr. Kami doesn't have an outside edge for her lutz, heavily prerotates (nearly a full revolution) and needs Rippon to straighten her axis
@@briananavarrolopez9286are you blind… she has an outside edge 😭😭😭😭😭 the deepest out of the whole Eteri camp
Kamila Valieva js the most overscored figure skater ever! Of course, she is talented and deserves a lot of respect, but the way Russian sport officials push her is so insane
But removing 10-15 points she is still by far the best😇But I definitely agree with you consid. overscoring😅
@@desc3451 Yes that’s a fact. I think currently she is the best. She is in the best shape, amazing spins, jumps, transitions. But the scores are inflated, even with fair scores she would left everyone in dust.
@@rent4161 both Anna and Kamila are overrated
@@Ta-tyana. kamila is appropriately rated. even if you took off 20 of her points, she wouid still have a big lead. bye.
@@rameneater5620 Of course, Camila is the best. No one is arguing. But not so much))
Kami's 3Lz+3T is more a sequence than a combo, the goe is absurd.
Kamila often pauses and does a little "pump" for more momentum and speed before doing the toe loop combination. You are completely correct for calling it out as a sequence. Judges should really be taken accountable for rewarding bad technique and making it seem okay.
@@Popcatception the pump happens because her right outside edge changes to an inside edge between combos and then she has to get the edge back to outside before taking off which causes that pump that you’re speaking of.
@@Griffw06 Now that I rewatch the video, yes I do notice her edge wavering.
@@Griffw06 she changes the direction of the blade and then goes back, but it’s never inside edge
@@Griffw06 Changing edges is a sequence is it not? Meaning she should get a 30% BV deduction off her combos.
Wow Anna's flip couldn't get any wronger! It's funny to see her GOEs being that high!!!
that toe hammer is unfortunately going to cause her a lot of problems in the future, and she’s already suffering a foot fracture. i wish someone would step in and care for these girls
It's funny the judges gave such huge GOE for wrong technique, urgh, i don't hate the skaters but the judges treatment made me feel hard to root them.
why is it that all these judges favour anna?! it’s ridiculous
I actually agree with Mikhail’s GOE 😂
as long as they don’t score like this at the Olympic im fine
They will
They will, unless something similar to what happened with rhythmic gymnastics takes place in figure skating and I high key want it to happen
@@nothingisfree3534 apparently there is corrupt judging in rythmic gymnastics as well and for years Russia was behind it, even changing the code of points at will. Basically at the Olympics it was almost certain that gold and silver would go to the Averina twins, but surprise surprise another gymnast won, Linoy Ashram from Israel. One of the twins had mistakes, but Dina Averina, the favourite for gold didn't, therefore some people called it a scandal believing Dina should have won, but it's weird, since the judges always favoured the Russians. What is speculated to have happened is that the judges were tired of the situation and decided to not give the gold to a Russian. Not that Linoy isn't a good gymnast, she used the code to her advantage and she was rewarded over a Russian gymnast. Now, I don't really follow RG and I don't know who actually was more deserving of gold between them, but what happened with the judges is probably true. Point is, the judges at some point they were tired of the corruption in the system and decided to not give a damn anymore and send a message
Вы сказали чушь
@@ariannabinaghi5222 Linoy has actually a more difficult routine but less grace. In the end the judges favored her which is the right thing to do compared to the water down routine of the twins.
I like kamila and Anna and the overscoring is NOT their fault but it makes it hard to root for them because there are people like Sasha who should have bigger GOE on her quad lutz combinations but the judges don’t give it too her which is just heart breaking to see. Personally, I think if Sasha does five clean quads and kamila did her free clean Sasha should be able to beat her. Plus trusova does flip and lutz which have a bigger base value than toe and sal. 🚀🚀
Kamilas shoots Sasha’s PCS. And Sasha does not jump 3A in Free.
I counted Sasha’s maximal possible score with the program layout she had during Test Skate and maximal GoE she received for the elements she did since 2017. And with 5 quads it’d be 197,12 at rusnats and 193 internationally
@@nikitashaitan9984 If everything goes clean Sasha could beat clean Valieva, but she needs 3A in short to come closer to her. She can beat her by 3 points in free but overall if she is 10 points behind Kamila in short then she can’t win.
Please tell this to the judges
kamila would still be the clear winner without overscoring.
Oh I just realized that Kamila’s 3Lz+3T combination in short got more points than Sasha’s. What?
Because russian federation insured Valieva
Sasha the best. The Judges 👎
Because Valieva's jumps are of better quality. Try to make the difference. They're both phenomenal, but one of them has had a magnificent performance this whole season so far, whereas the other one falls in almost all her performances and is still recovering from an injury. Let's stop speculating
@@aliayasminjawad152 Camila is a wonderful athlete. But look at the ribs. In 3A they are dangerous. I'm scared for her legs I'm sorry, but by all indications Sasha is number one. Her talent cannot be overestimated.
@@aliayasminjawad152 What does that have with what I mentioned in my comment? Sasha’s 3Lz+3T in short has difficult transitions, it was amazing combination without edge change in between. And she deserved to have more than Kamila’s basic 3Lz+3T with edge change. Just because Kamila skates mostly clean she has to get more points than she deserves at the moment? Your logic makes no sense.
kamila's lutz and flip prerotation is 'wow' 😒
She's literally doing doubles, yet she gets credit for a triple!😅
Are you experts? i'm sure not
@@DamirNa it doesn't take an expert to count rotations...
Prerotation is unlimited for all skaters, stop reposting this koolashit again and again!
@@feyanormorfol2457 KK was not after PR, she was only about Zhenya flutz because Zhenya broke her favourite Yuna worlds records.
PR is not unlimited as you can see in the isu videos explaining the jumps, but excessive PR is not currently penalised as long as it is 180 degres maximum. It might be in the future?
Overscored AF it's hilarious 😂
Just like US Nationals. Even more realistic. Especially when Bradie Tennell gets +2,36 GOE for underrotated combinations and Chen all +5 and 10.00 PCS. Anyway, I totally disagree with Scherbakova GOEs and actual scores.
Many people in Russia r upset with Anya’s not deserved high goes too..
Triple lutz and triple loop by Elizaveta Tuktamysheva should be here
Agree, her 3Lutz was amazing!!!
@@saraehtor7753 one of the best in the business!

So the whole list is just Anna and kamila… where’re empress and sasha
They got fair GOEs
Since when Liza and Sasha are overscored? Are you crazy?
@@Fluskaable Liza is so underscored😭
@@melissa-ks1ew Yes 😢😢 When she was starting to get fair scored they had to overscore Anna and cia 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It’s good tho if sasha is not in this list. Sasha is just the best,
Anna and kami ,always overscored
so unfair for the other girls but i don't blame kamila or Anna i blame the judges
Well, when it comes to National competitions, scores are really inflated on the favorite athletes-specifically Kamila and Anna. The fact that Anna's and Kami's 3-3 jumps scored higher than some of Sasha's quads, especially on GOE is terrible but it's Russia. Kamila and Sasha deserved their podium spots no doubt, despite the overscoring. I can't say the same for Anna because of her long program performance. I just hope she regains her quad in time for Euros to prove why she can go to the Olympics. However, I absolutely hate the people who were mentioning Anna's Instagram account. It's not her fault if she is the judges' favorite. THE JUDGES AND EVEN ETERI"S POLITICS SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR THE OVERSCORING and what happened with Liza, not Anna.
Anna “overscored” Shcherbakova 😑😑
Agree, she overscored too much
I don’t understand why they keep overscoring Kamila that way, even with some fair scores she’s still the winner, no need to overscore her, the only thing they make out of this is people’s hate towards the sport and indirectly towards Kamila who doesn’t deserves it
Fact. And without exaggeration, it's clear that Camila is the best right now. But not unattainable
I guess to make sure she wins even if she messes up late in the program. For example, Anna’s GOEs at the nationals were so overblown that even with a fall on 4F and very bad combo she could rank higher than competitors with clean programs and ultra C elements. They used to do it with Medvedeva making her out of reach, and this is how Adelina won.
@@TheVillka Yes. Judges: no options.
@@Ta-tyana. I wouldn’t really look at it like this. The judges are the tool that gives the scores. Who navigates the judges to favor certain skaters over other very talented ones is more interesting.
@@TheVillka Figure Skating Federation? I don't want to think that sport is show business. Not knowing the truth. The girls are great athletes, but what happens to the grades....
I feel sorry for the girls whose received the hate, however that's not their fault but purely the judges. Also i feel bad to the girls whose get underscore treatment. Sometimes it made me stare the screen with eyes wide open 🙄 like Oh Lord!!! How could that happened??
How does Kamilla Lutz Combination get a huge goe when her lutz is not good but others do clean combos and don’t get high goes???
Of course for Rusnats we're having the battle between the princess and queen overscored (with Misha Kolada their buttler making cameo appearance). Their 3F and 3Lz are tiny/ small and should not fulfill the "good height and length" mandatory bullet for more than +3 GOE. It's national scoring sure but there eere heck lot of more better jumps in that competition to be in this list.
I should probably stop watching womens single skating. It’s a total mess that it’s not good for my health.
I need to calm down. 💆♀️
I'm so happy that russian nationals has so much discussion! Guys, why don't you discuss us, china, france nationals even japanese!!! It's a fact that russian ladys are the best nowdays and noone in the world could compare whith their result, you have no need to be an expert
Its all the drama! Russians are wild.
Actually, I was hoping to see men's scores, since tbh, I am Okay with women's results for this year, despite Scherbakova's over scoring vs the 3 younger athletes. I am not happy Mozalev got shafted yet again.
@@pjeffries301 А для меня вы дикари.))) Не знающий русский язык очень обделены цивилизацией.
For Kamila it's all deserved, the transitions in and out of the jumps are to die for. The waiting between the jumps in the combo aren't making it a sequence, there is nothing written about this in the rules. Watch how nicely she's handling her free leg after the jumps, there is no one getting close to this, not even the men. It's very sad being so negative to this young girls, it's obvious that they work so hard for this. If you're not giving Camila the highest GEO's, who else would deserves it?
This. Random commentors who know a little about gymnastics are bashing the clear best in the world right now because they have nothing better to do. No one in the women's (or men's) is even close to kamila. unnecessary hate.
It is just trendy to criticize Russia and all Russian talents in general just because they are not part of the brainwashed globalized mentality that is constantly in mainstream media. Seeing extraordinary talents just makes them so jealous that they don't see how poorly other nationalities do compared to the Russians. Instead of learning from them, they rather criticize them because they clearly see that this high Russian level cannot be matched by any other nations' skaters.
@@rameneater5620 please wake up from your beautiful Russian dream… helped with illegal drugs
@@tunde-ilonakrasznai7122 I am so jealous that Russian athletes were unknowingly using drugs their authoritarian government doctors are providing them.
I don’t understand what was wrong with Kamila’s 3A… it was beautiful, on axis, and not pre/under-rotated.
Yeah, she was under-scored on that one. The judging was all over the place.
She lands very far forward nearly on her toepick and on the wrong edge. Also no difficult entry so no +GOE bullets to compensate for the points lost from the poor landing.
Wrong edge on landing
Its an okey jump. Not a +5. Not musical, no unexpected entry, not high for a 3a either. It should probably be something like +2 or +3
@@раздангригорян by wrong edgr they mean wrong landing edge. She's had inside landings but i dont this jump is the case
All the transitions, rippons, leg extension etc but none of these look as smooth as Kaori’s jumps from the previous video lol Especially the combos
I really hope Kaori medals at the Olympics but it's unlikely with all the corrupt judges
@@turtlefeesh She got a bronze medal in the team event and the individual event at the Olympics! 😊
That was beautiful video! Valieva’s 3A is sublime. 🥰
Her 3A is gangsta 😎
Just to remind to the distinguished audience that the majority of us are not specialists in the domain. And that 3.5 turns that look to us on UA-cam as 4, would score less compared to the perfectly performed 3. Combination matters, how you put legs matters, how you land matters. I understand personal sympathies. According to world experts (real ones), however, there is no other figure skater who stays even close to Kamila. On top of technical performance, if you like art combined with sport, you will know for sure who is the best. Not by flips alone….
we could say that to any unfair situations in sports 😊 just by checking out ISU simulator of the jumps’ technique, we can see that those jumps are so wrong. and why do they get such scores? we only encourage judges being more unfair by these comments.
A performance is not just about jumps and technical skills. This is art, and a program should always be an overall artistic experience. But don't try to explain to these people what art means because they have no clue. They also call a beautiful leg lift after a jump an unnecessary leg kick. I love those leg lifts of Anna and Kamilla and I laugh of those who criticize them. And sorry, but figure skating is art and not car racing where simulators can be used as reference or inspiration. Such a wrong approach.
@@tunde-ilonakrasznai7122 the leg kicks are fantastic, but they do it over and over. It takes the shine off the move for me, as it's so repetitive.
Don't get me wrong, I love the girls, but enough with the constant kicks!
@@tunde-ilonakrasznai7122 I always enjoyed Kamila's kick on her 3A, until I recently noticed that she actually uses it to correct her edge upon landing (she lands on inside edge, and forcibly goes to an outside edge using the kick). Annya uses the kick to regain momentum because she slows down so much when landing, and in Rusnats, the slow mo cams show that she practically stops, then regains momentum with the kick. And somehow gets scored high GOEs. Meaning that the kick is used to distract from bad technique. Meanwhile, you can find other skaters with leg extensions that don't forcibly kick out to distract from lack of flow.
I really want you to analyse Petrosyan’s quad loop:D
I think Kami is so talented but I. Wish they scored her fairly
she would still be the clear leader with fair scores. take away 20 points and she is still 1st. goodbye.
@@rameneater5620 I never said she wasn’t a clear winner lord. It would make the field more competitive. She’s obviously above everyone calm down

👏👏👏
I really don’t think these are accurate AT ALL. I’ve watched how Anna has got hate all over the years just because she is overscored which is not up to her, and now Kamila too??????? I mean first no offense to these hardworking girls. However, having Anna’s Flip which are almost not distinguished to her Lutz have such high GOE. And yeah, you could say Kamila is another case, but her technique flaws are always covered by beautiful transitions making people think she’s skating correctly when she clearly has a poorer axis when it comes to all her ultraC elements so that she needs rippon to land them (which is quite practical, but you can see she’s not steady in the air), as well as all of her combinations, which are not combos but sequences, that little push up thing she does in between jumps in combinations could be qualified as “cheating”. And just the fact that Sasha’s jumps which are high, with a smooth landing (usually) and she’s adding transitions and rippon to her quads is just SO UNFAIR :) (thank u for reading if you finished the whole thing)
agree 100%
@@moon-bean no sasha’s problems are prerrotation and the Flip’s edge. Not saying she’s perfect, but definitely better than the rest

how were triple jumps rated above full-fledged quads?
And it happens that kami is the one with the most insanely scored jumps 😕
Scores at Nationals always are............interesting 🙄

40% of 5.3 is 2.12
@@Yarotska101 40%? Is that something new?
@@jimmyfab since 2018. +5/-5 turns into percentage of jumps. +1 GOE = +10% of jump value. -3 GOE = -30% of jump value.
What exactly do you mean with insanely? Insanely as in undeserved or insanely as in that it's a high score
Technically it means undeserved. These are overscored jumps
I wish everyone would stop whining. It's nationals, what do you expect??
It's national but even then they're overscored compared to other athletes competing in the same competition. So the "overscored" comments were relative to the other athletes on the same National competition.
@@yohanes2034 I am looking at the scores right now. For example: Elizaveta Tuktamysheva got +1.74 and Anna Scherbekova got + 1.97 GOE for a triple flip they both did in the short program. I am not trying to argue, but the small difference in GOE is not something for everyone to get excited about.

And I love Liza's skating, her 3 Axels, maybe I'm wrong, but I can't understand why Anya is scored higher than Liza.
Where's Empress Tuktamysheva? :(
They don't overscore her if anything they underscore her so she's not in the video since it's about overscorring
Unfortunately Tuktik is not favorite like Anya in rusfederation, but her technics jumping seems better
If she was an Eteri girl she would also be here
not Anna's flutz
anna didn't even do a lutz in this video. what vid are you watching?
Anna's jumps are just...ugh
Ugly hammer toe on lutz and flip, very muscled and laboured like Medvedeva's were. Her skating in general has deteriorated yet she still gets huge GOE.
157 points for her FS was a travesty, no successfully quads, a fall, poor technique, slow laboured skating and weak spins. She got Bronze on reputation alone.
She's a beautiful skater and I like her artistry and her fighting spirit but it seems she is past her peak now. She hasn't come back from injury as strong as Sasha has and I wonder if she's nursing further injury based on nationals
It us to funny to read after Olympics 😄
Now she is Olympic Champion, World Champion, 3xRussian Champion. She is the best

no hate to Anna but her jumps are arguably the worst of the bunch how is she on this list 😭😭😭 and kami's combos shouldn't have that high goe either with how she changes edges
How about Shoma Uno barely squeaking ahead of Semenenko in PCSs by literally a couple of points? 👍
No need to compare Jnats against Rusnats really. They were separated competition. One happened in the reality while the other happened in the fairy tale where Samarin got 44 PCS, Semenenko got 45ish (forgot really) in the SP.
@@yohanes2034 well, I like judging in Japan better

I think everyone noticed that the judges were too generous, especially, in men sp. However, it would be fair to point out that Kamila does all her jumps with hands up, which many fans do not like from an aesthetic point of view, but it’s harder to perform and have to be recognized by the judges and reflected in her GOE.
Rippon and tano are no longer bullet points since 2018. Before it was listed as "variation of air position". After Olympic 2018 it was removed hence doing the jumps with the hands aloft (as the Brits said) is no longer add to your GOE.
Rippon and tano are difficult for skaters who are doing jumps without them all their life cause it would shift your center of gravity. The one who are trained to do them on daily basis are used to them and they become second nature. Some coaches even use rippon to fix tilted air position (their words not mine). I like tanos and rippons when they're done in moderation.
I believe Kamila herself once said something to the effect, paraphrasing here, that she is only able to do her triple axel consistently because she does it with her arms up.
@@josephappiah5023 yeah, I remember her saying, but as a commentator above said, it depends on how the skater was trained. Before Eteri were teaching girls jump with hands up because it added points to their GOE. Now with the change of rules Kamila is just used to it I guess.
@@yohanes2034 I see, thank you for the information. I agree that the skater can get used to it and it will be easier to perform jumps with hands above the head, but it does not make this technique easier to perform.
As Eteri said once you took off with the hands above the head, you can not save the jump, if something goes wrong in the landing.

Russian national scoring is just a joke. The RusFed favorit get the highest scores. That Anna finished third was such a joke 🤣😂 She had a fall on the 4F and no other Ultra C element. The triples were shaky too.
