I used to work in a computer shop and I was also refiling cartridges sometimes. In my country many shops just refill the cartridge and do not care if the waste section is full or not, if the cartridge is clean and stuff like that. I used to do all the stuff that you are showing here without a compressor, with the help of a high quality vacuum cleaner that had no arts of the motor directly in the cleaning path (toner will destroy FAST most of the "normal" vacuum cleaners). For the guy asking about why wiper blades eventually "die": the cartridge toner is actually abrasive, if you think about it even water is abrasive if it runs long enough trough the same spot, and the wiper blade keeps the toner at the correct thickness on the optical drum so it takes a good beating, especially from the non standard (larger-than-normal) particles in toner.
Thanks for making this clearly instructional video. I have a question re: toner. Is all toner essentially the same, i.e. if you have a bottle of toner that will work in one cartridge, can it be used in any cartridge. I have heard yes, and I have heard no.

i have hp m1132 mfp will this procedure work on it? plus its prints are faded now i dont know if i need to refill or replace the toner because its the toner provided by the manufacturer and i have never refilled it before.
Yes, your printer has the same cartridge. You can follow this procedure to refill it. After refilling, if fading continues, please consider replacing the OPC Drum.

I can do it in under five minutes! First split the cartridge by taking out the two dowels. Sometimes covered with paper. Dont touch the drum one its not necessary every time to clean it. Find the screw sometimes covered with paper and unscrew it Take off the casing being. Take off the toner bar. Be very careful to put it back in exactly the same place. It has a flat at the end of it where it goes into the casing. Put the toner in. Put back the toner bar in exactly the same place. Put back the casing.
Following on. Mover the toner bar slightly until it fits into the casing. Put the screw back in the casing. Not put the two pieces back together . Be careful which dowel you put in first. The left one and then the right will go easily but not the other way round. That is all there is. To open the drum part is really a lot easier

Instead, the cartridge is dismantled. In this video, we basically show how to refill. It is not about replacing the components such as OPC Drum or wiper blade. As you should know, wiper blade is replaced in each 5 refills. Best Regards,
Apparently this is for professionals. I'm just trying to figure out why my unused, but sat on the shelf in it's box for 2 years, print cartridge doesn't print normally. Print is too light. Seems it's too late to return for an exchange.
