Take off, form up, Clime to 7000 mtrs, Shoot some Ami's, Then Zuruck for Medals und Bratwurst with ketchup und senf.. Und Keine spinning on ze landing . 👋😁

I have watched these videos of yours and they are terrific. I do love both Fw190 and the P-47 so I wonder what aircraft you prefer in perspective of shere fun! (And the available campaigns). Thanks!
It’s a difficult one to answer. The P-47 has a much better looking cockpit and is easier to handle, however, the engine management can be difficult at first.
The Anto (and Dora) don’t look as nice but they are much easier to use.
Campaign wise; Wolfpack is a semi-real campaign based on actual missions. The historic documents are there and you feel part of a Sqn, but the transits can be tedious.
Horrido: get in, take off and within a short time you are in action…but, it’s not as immersive as Wolfpack.
You don't climb into a formation of bombers.
The very real art of air interception is arriving at the target aircraft with an altitude advantage.
The American Army Airforce was aware of German aircrafts lack of power at altitude, so it was a hell of a thing to intercept b17's.

I think you would be taking way more fire from the 17s then I see.
a lone fighter hovering around at comparable speed amongst so many b17s would have been shot up horrendously within 10 seconds

Frustrating isn't it? You know where you want to go, you have plenty of ammo and fuel , you're within range, .50 cal tracers all around you and and the plane just won't cooperate. I also like the skid mark on the right on the runway when you stopped.

hello do you have issues with the undercarriage circuit breaker popping during flight?
You're not moving fast enough to attack from directly behind.
The inherent problem for a Fw 190A is high altitude killing its performance because of its very basic supercharger. 6 Km is its service ceiling pretty much. Only the A9’s improved radial engine would perform good but it came too late, then the D9 ofc and finally the Ta 152H which also got produced for about 50 aircrafts at the end of the war, apparently was capable to rival the P-51.
You need to take your time and climb above the bombers a bit to get some speed rather than just charging up to em from behind slow af. It’s basically asking for a 50cal to the face lol
How do you sélect the comm menu? Push to talk button ? In my campaign i cannnot open this menu with thé button i use normaly in mission.
Do you think WW2 DCS is worth getting into? A lot of people say it's dead, but il2 isn't very appealing
IL-2 is great. DCS WW2 multiplayer can be lacking, however, with the Marianas map ww2 version coming, extensions to the channel map etc, it’s going to be a good year. (Not forgetting the Corsair and Hellcat)
