@115817758488914356103- I saw another "live" performance of this song here from a 2010 concert and they still were just as tight and awesome. They do a great performance on their other hit song "Whatcha Gonna Do?
If you find that time machine don't forget to bring me with you, that way we can become famous, do these songs before the real artists do them. We're gonna be rich!
The lead singer of Pablo Cruise (David) played for us at my uncles house only a few days ago which was 2 days after thanksgiving. He played this song for us too and got my whole family singing as the choir. He's a really nice guy. This is a really good song too.
TheBaronOfAshford that’s cool! I still have this one and COOL LOVE on my main playlists. Timeless songs. And group. He seems like a cool guy from what little I see on those live concert videos on here when he speaks in between songs. Have a good one!
There once was a time before hate, smart phones, social media, law suits, and viruses when people used to spend the day outside listening to music, playing frisbee, and enjoying good food!
That harmony and synchronization! What a great song. They're so talented. In 1981, my boyfriend and I went to check on my sister. She had moved out of town with a friend and I couldn't reach her so we just went to see what was up. She was very sick with a kidney infection, and he had left her alone. We told her to come home with us, and she did. It was a long drive, so we all took some acid. This song came on the radio. It spoke so poignantly to the day, and her going to a new start. I still can see ... when I looked in the back seat and our eyes met. The wind was blowing her hair around her head. I said, "This is a great song." And she said, "Yes, it is."
I can remember cruising in my brand new 1977 Plymouth volare roadrunner. Wearing a pair of Ray Bans and checking out the chicks on the strip in Panama City Florida. Thanks guys it's brought back some great memories! What a band!!
In my moms acid green Chevy Nova listening to 77 WABC, with Ron Lundy(hello luv✨). Listened to disco, rock, easy’s everything. Such a magical time. 70’s people were good looking.. 💋
This captures LA in the free and unblemished aura of 1978, with the enthralled crowd exhibiting their enjoyment in a time before mass shootings and drug domination, and is how best to remember Los Angeles as it was when I was there 44 years ago. The opening vista shows the funnels of the Queen Mary, the WW2 troop transporter, sold after to LA to be used as a floating event venue, but unfortunately it caught fire and burnt then was scrapped shortly after this concert. Look at the happy faces of those in LA in 1978 enjoying pure fresh stimulating entertainment and exceptional musical performances by all in the Pablo Cruise pop-rock group. Some members have passed on, and there have been many changes but the core remains and still performs for those of us who remember with relish the halcyon period of popular music in the 1970s and from 1960-1990. Love will find a Way is the song and the catch phrase from that zenith time of humanity in the 20th century.
Such a great song, sung by the musical greats of yesterday with such passion, artistry, rhythm, harmony, and professional musicianship! Music, the way it was meant to be. The synthetic, cookie-cutter, thin veil of today's music template pales (and fails) in comparison. We who have lived in this era are truly the lucky ones. For many of us, the passion is part of our fabric.
Jeezus...these live harmonies are killing it!! Today's acts couldn't sing the lead without autotune let alone 3 and 4 part harmonies live!! Pablo Cruise...killer musicians, songwriters and vocals!!
Superb guitar bits all through the song, and while singing too! Challenging vocals yet he nailed it with perfect pitch. Plus awesome fro and stache. All in an absolutely cool track. Wow
Mister:Pablo Cuise, i love U."SIR", with all do respet, you used to be, you are now, & you will be forever & ever a symbol of great music of the 70s for me, i came from Habana, Cuba, & everynight "Love will Find the way",by WKAAY, Radio Station from Litter Rock , Arkansas ,they used to play that song in my Radio & made me feel very very happy I was 17 years old young boy a high school student & i tell you what I really enjoy this one & many others song from you,so thank you so much for your great musically Talent and God bless you "SIR",i am here now in New York City is my home towm and I'm feeling very very happy,& I still listen to your music play in my phone thanks mister"Pablo Croise".....
Today's music is engineered to be exactly what it is. It is engineered to insult, disenfranchise and make you feel abandoned in terms of values, morals and standards. It caters to the lowest common denominator. Music like this is actually what the majority of the country wants to hear.
Was just listening to Ambrosia's 'Biggest Part of Me' live, here on UA-cam. Same masterful live sound as this video; same affirmative message. I'm with ya.
I never knew John Holmes was in a band... Sorry, I just HAD to say that! I loved this song back then and still do today. I'm sooo grateful that I was able to experience the 1970s and all the GREAT music of that era.
I was a freshman when this came out, and I saw the end of 2 unique eras, that I just cannot see happening again. Bands of all types were out, making great sounds. We went to a local lake house beach back then, & they had a sound system, concessions, etc, and tunes like this were always in the air. The other end that came was my brother's generation...5 yrs my senior, were the last group of high school kids that all had classic cars, now worth 100k and more GTO Judges, Stangs, 60's Camaros, etc.
Nice steady beat, well balanced sound, tight performance! Great singing and guitar licks. One of the best bands in the world. I like the way they played the song like the record!
One of the best groups of that era. Actually if they're still playing, I can't think of any "groups" of today that are close to this level of performnces.
@@bwade7342 In the 70's, we all thought disco was a joke. Now in today's wasteland, of course disco and even soft rock like Pablo Cruise sound absolutely wonderful. So satisfying.
I love the music of the 70s....Real music, the music I grew up on when we only had am radio. Great times and great memories. My daughter understands why the music I grew up with is so much better.
I was a kid in the 70s....aware enough to know it had a magical feel. Now its 2020 and this song reminds me of the innocence of the 70s and that the magic I felt wasnt just childhood but it was a special time. It was just before the beginning of the modern age with all its computers and microchips. Theyr magical too but minus the innocence.
Wow! Bought this album on Vinyl in late '70's and never knew these guys were that good live until now. And WTF? A "Hasselhoff" look-a-like that can sing and play like that? No fair! ;7)
What a great, fun 70s band...criused to this song many a hot summer night in my '71 Maverick..looking for chicks to have fun with..scored a FEW times..ha! Dave Jenkins plays those licks and sings so well...he makes it look easy! You just dont hear this type uplifting, soulful pop music anymore...hope it returns some day! Thanks for posting!
Comisky Park Chicago on a Saturday: Pablo Cruise, The Steve Miller Band and The EAGLES (Hotel California album). It was a blast. Anyone else see that tour?
Been groovin' to this song ever since my days in the Army in California near Monterey. I had just arrived in Cali when Pablo Cruise released it. Still sounds great to me.
Wow, they sound GREAT Live. It is almost as if they are lip-syncing, but they are not. As A musician, I can see clearly the talent and ability of this band. Impressive. So sad they are not going full force like they were in the 1970s. What a great band!
They had another song that came out before this one called "Whatcha Gonna Do?", which is probably the second biggest song from their late 70's hey-day.
I hear ya bro! Only I had a 70 Maverick, shackles on the leaf springs, chrome reverse wheels, e60s on the back, and no scoring, not for lack of tryin! Glad I had a dad who was into the pop music and would bring home great albums back then.
This song is just one of a million reasons why "The Seventies were the best"!
Amen, the only music I listen to, 50 years later 😉
Taco - well said. 👍
Amen.
The Best!!!
People bag on this genre constantly, but it's some pretty fine songwriting and musicianship.
No auto-tune, no lip-sync, no pyro-techs, no smoke machines, no huge production with props...just some tight vocals and tight musicianship.
Damn Straight!
@115817758488914356103- I saw another "live" performance of this song here from a 2010 concert and they still were just as tight and awesome. They do a great performance on their other hit song "Whatcha Gonna Do?

Wow! So glad UA-cam allows us to hear this great music again that we grew up with. Love Pablo Cruise!
There once was a time before hate, smart phones, social media, law suits, and viruses when people used to spend the day outside listening to music, playing frisbee, and enjoying good food!
Yeah, glad I was able to be a teenager and go to cheap concerts, dates , even flying lessons were fairly inexpensive.
thank you very much :-) have a fantastic day!
Miss those days
Yeah that still happens quite regularly here in America.
This is a master lesson of how a band should play live...great musicianship...
Thank you! The music is actually the "live" performance. That is true. Vocals were re-done in the studio, live. FYI
I grew up with this in my teen years! Some of the best times of my life. Incredibly inundated with some of the best artists back in the 70’s.
Such a groovy song with one of the best bass lines ever.
He's nailing that vocal and guitar part like a boss!
Great pipes and a fine guitarist, that Mr. Jenkins. Their sound is as good as a live performance gets.
Chord changes

Dave, I agree!!! Conway Twitty believed, and said, the song must be sung just iike the original recording. :)
