How to file GST/HST return online for self-employed and contractors DIY

- After watching this video, you will be able to Netfile GST-HST return with CRA Canada. It is quite an easy DIY thing. I have explained step-by-step, while I file an HST return for self employed in this video. If you are a contractor, sole proprietor, self-employed or a ecommerce store owner/ small business, this video is for you.
INTRODUCTION:
If your business sales is going over $30000 you have to start collecting HST and subsequently file a HST return. Please refer to links below for detailed information.

Hi Murtaza, thanks for making this informative video. so this is an additional step after you do you personal taxes with T2125 in it for uber driver? i.e. I filed my personal taxes including T2125 for uber driver income in my return. do I still need to file for GST/HST return separately? please advise. Thanks in advance.

@Instaccountant.. On Uber tax summary there is "Uber trips service fee".. does this include HST that i can deduct and report as my ITC? Helpful video
Yes you can calculate HST on service fee, if you are not using the HST paid to Uber.

hi very helpful vedio. do i need to file gst hst rebate as well if i m uber eats driver? and can i pay the amount using my leftover tution credits from my personal income tax account? i filed gst hst rebate on personal income tax return . should i remove that?

Yes, you do need to file as an Uber Eats driver. And you can pay the amount using your leftover tuition credits but keep in mind that tuition credits can only be used to reduce your federal tax payable to zero.
