@@italianduded1161 sorry for the late Reply but yes/no because Sun wukong purposely allowed himself to die in the Beginning of the game in order to get rid of the headband given by the Buddha. The monkey we play as in the beginning is the Recarnation of sun wukong mind and Spirit and Once he retrieved his relics and regained his memories , he became whole again. So technically the mc is sun wukong but at thes same time the new sun wukong is no longer Bound by the past and is Is starting a new journey of his own.
