Honestly, I'm a huge fan of Les Twins. Do you notice that even though they were disrespected and shorted by all means, they still congratulated TE in the end on his win? Even though he was childish and rude towards them, they were still kind to him. This is why I respect them so much. Les Twins are better than all of these games that these competitions are playing just to get the popularity that comes with Les Twins. I know these competitions have a certain popularity on their own but since Les Twins won WOD, I've seen more and more controversial videos of things occurring at the competitions and how unfairly they're being judged (or the lack thereof). They deserve better because they are better.
Bethanie Harris Les Twins are true geniuses who have taken dance in a new direction. They have worked so hard for over a decade to get to this point. They took risks and trusted their creativity to an astonishing degree. Les Twins have maintained global audience that none of their contemporaries have come close to. I get tired of seeing them go up against guys who have a following In some little limited niche who are delusional about their abilities and scope. Larry and Laurent have multifaceted careers too. They are so generous and loving to the dancers who attend Les Twins’ workshops and go out of their way to stay in touch with their fans. They work at keeping us all entertained on a daily basis. I don’t see anybody else doing that. They have opened doors for so many dancers. Yes, their dancing is not as inspiring on some days because they are exhausted sometimes from all that they do. But there are so many many breathtaking moments that I feel grateful to be able to see happen in this lifetime!
@@78SR So true! Honestly they're such an inspiration. Dancing everyday no matter how they feel, showing so much love to their fans after workshops that have taken a toll on their bodies, always appreciating other dancers and encouraging them to do better. I mean, they're true examples of men who love their job which isn't really their job it's their life. They're so passionate and honest, I can't help but be biased when it comes to them. Ultimately my favorite dancers on the planet, hands down. Just watching them makes me want to be more passionate about everything I do.

LES TWINS ARE THE BEST IN THIS WORLD and this is true facts about the judges they are not making the right judgment calls on the dancers, they are not being made correctly and they are only worried about selling out the seats or spots around the dance floor and bringing in the Best meaning LES TWINS would sell out any stage in hours and after they put there hearts into battling and then something always happens or comes up to where "LES TWINS " LOSES ,I'VE SEEN IT TOO MANY TIMES AND ITS SAD

The fact that he said he was going to invent a new rule on the spot is just bull crap. Unfortunately it's looking like people need to start regulating what the quote on quote judges do.
getting real tired constantly seeing the twins disrespected at these type of events, and they have so much passion for the art that they continue to go and participate. Im ready for them to stick to their own leagues and leave these little dance battles to the smaller dancers and go to events where they'll be respected.

You can't hear it but at some point the speaker told the twins the next person to interrupt a round is disqualified, that's why they were mad for. But Tight Eyex didn't know it since they only spoke french during the argument.

@@wildhogs1ful well said, hope you do not mind my input on your comment. I recall times during an interview; both Laurent & Larry paraphrased it isn't the money nor shine. Yet the battle itself, being among the love of it and not to show off or outshine anyone. Neither has any issue allowing others to shine. They do so within their workshop. While they only have issues! When? The events such as battles are judged improperly, whomever in position to do so isn't doing and/or taking their position seriously.

Interrupting 50+ sec freestyle not on purpose and 30- sec ON PURPOSE is two different things. I don’t think it was fair to allow that.
Two big mistakes of jugement in 1 year for Larry. The first one at Juste Debout with Diablo & Stalamuerte and now, a second, at Fusion Concept with Tight Eyex. It's shameful !!!
Changing the rules during the game only shocked me ? WTF !?
Note to the speaker : do your job, be a speaker not a judge.
The mistake is human, but the important thing is to apologize, by your own.
PS : I don't understand why the organizer, who from his own confession admits that the speaker did not have to change the rules, didn't intervene and strengthened the speaker in this bullshit, or explain the situation and apologize in live. Larry's annoyance is totally legitimate.

I read comments saying Tight Eyex didn't dance during Larry's round on purpose but *he had already danced* to that song so it clearly was. He started every round. Larry's freestyle was the last one before the end of the battle 😅
Thing is if you watch some of Tight Eyez's battles at the event, he sometimes goes when the battle is supposed to end or when the song is supposed to change. It's reasonable to believe he thought Larry was done once Larry got back on stage.
In fact, when Tight Eyez spoke on it, he said Larry was done. He thought Larry was done.
@@EntityAbyss Larry had danced for about 20 seconds only so I have trouble to believe he thought he was done. What I think is that he wanted to act "savage" to make the crowd hyped or whatever.
Regardless, if that's something he does sometimes, fine, but he wasn't supposed to do it here. This battle had already 4 rounds instead of 2 💀, and Kanon made clear twice that now it was gonna be one more freestyle/person and that's it. I don't see why else he would keep on dancing. As if 4 rounds weren't tiring enough.
Well either way we missed what could have been the killer freestyle... you could tell he was about to murder that song

Watch tight eyex’s live, he explained everything...now I feel bad for him😕 and I don’t think he did it on purpose, plus during all of the arguing he didn’t know what was going on for he doesn’t speak french but English. He never made a complaint in the first place , all that trouble was caused by the announcer 🙄😤but he explains it all in an Ig live, he experienced a lot of disrespect that day, lestwins even know too.
at the end of the day, Larry didn't see that Tight Eyex's was still dancing...I don't think he would have cut TE off intentionally...as rough as they can be...I've never seen them mean or nasty and all... I think it was a mishap... as such... style to style, technique to technique and movement to movement...I think LesTwins should have won. As stated below, Larry's movements were different in each round while Tight Eyex's was not... Even though I know winning is everything... there is an old saying that goes "it's not whether you win or lose that matter...it's how you play the game" For me...character is way better all around... I love winning...but I love even more one with "character"...because a good character will take you further whether you win or not! Kudos to Les Twins for being men of good/great character!!!! KEEP ON WINNING TOO :)

I have to speak my mind on this so no one take it personally. The dancers on here are really good but I've never seen such great dancing till I saw the Les Twins and the way that I feel is that I'm totally biased and the Les Twins are the very best of the best dancers I've seen yet. People need to respect them. They are the best period!! I would take up for them in a hot second. I'm Native American Cherokee and I stand my ground and especially when it comes to the Les Twins. I truly adore and love them so much. :)
First of all i'm not even going to listen to everyone Kanon says because he started it off by saying "both dancers can just continue freestyling and the judges will decide. How can the judges watch both dancers at the same time closely enough to judge?... Great battle regardless though
Judges don't always eyeball a dancer for musicality. Whichever one is getting more hype and dynamic in a moment like that would take the cake. It's happened before though in 2013 I think.

One person making up rules on the fly and the other contradicting the first person is a disaster, not to mention they aren't speaking in english for the people/dancers who don't understand French. It's shadiness all around.

Wow, theses dancers hate the twins to the point whenever there is a battle there is a problem. This is really really sad. The twins do not need to do this type stuff they have nothing left to prove THE WORLD KNOWS THEY ARE THE BEST, they do it because they live for it and love it.

Lmao I loved how Larry straight up yoinked a mic out of nowhere. Just want to shed some light on something else, Kanon apparently scammed Tight Eyez out of his promised $5k through lies and deception which should tell you a lot about how much politics come into play. This went down prior to the battle when Tight Eyez wanted a deposit before he battled so it wasn't even an after the fact thing, it was happening before the battles even began. Pretty sure Tight Eyez danced for a minute just like they both had been doing and he danced over to Lau then walked away seemingly passing the beat on to the twins. It's complete nonsense to suddenly call out this rule when Kefton blatantly danced while Big Mijo was dancing by mocking him and talking trash, but I guess that's ok since the crowd got so hyped over it. Les Twins and Tight Eyez both got screwed over in this event with some really random rules have a double standard that I never see happen to anyone else. In my opinion Kanon/whoever else involved just doesn't want to see commercially successful dancers that made it out of the underground come back 'hijack' their events by being world class dancers that would destroy all of these top dancers in fairly judged battles. In my opinion Les Twins should have won JD 2019, WODC 2019, and this event although Tight Eyez vs Larry could've gone either way. I know that sounds fanboyish, but they really deserved to win. Not that they didn't lose rounds on the way (personally I had Larry losing and tying a lot of his rounds in JD and WODC with Laurent hard carrying by winning nearly every round).
From things I heard directly from people backstage and what Kanon said, as much as I like him as a dancer, Tight Eyex was the one being unprofessionnal in the situation first... He requested a higher amount of money despite his contract stating the amount of money he'd get. Contract that he signed but admitted he didn't even read 😅 Then, once Kanon paid for Tight Eyex's flights, hotel and every accommodation necessary to his stay in Paris, and after Tight Eyex's presence was announced everywhere and probably made many people want to come, he threatened not to come unless he gets a higher amount of money... which is a straight up shame 😶 Yes showing a fake bank proof of money transfer was super wrong but he didn't have many different options. Tight Eyex was the one initially trying to fuck him over.
Even his manager apologized and said that Tight Eyex wouldn't listen to him so he becomes reasonnable and honor his contract like he was supposed to...
I've been disappointed by things I heard about him from people who were around him backstage, he's no angel in this story 😗 Mijo was very professionnal and *cordial* though apparently 🤗

@@lbfchannel2385 I appreciate the context to the situation. From what I saw on both sides I took it as Tight Eyez was being a diva, but Kanon was being outright nefarious. I'd have to rewatch his live, but I remember Tight Eyez saying Kanon breached the contract first. After reading your comment I see that Kanon released another response about how Tight Eyez didn't read the contract so I'd have to see that to really understand what may have gone down since obviously Tight Eyez could be wrong/misleading. I do have to say that regardless there appears to be issues beyond Tight Eyez with people getting paid/contracts based on what Tight Eyez said and Robert Muraine vouching for it in his commentary which to me goes beyond being a diva trying leverage the situation the way Tight Eyez did. At the end of the day Tight Eyez does have a fair point that it is about getting what you're worth. The first videos to go up were Les Twins vs Tight Eyez for a reason. Not looking to debate either since I agree and appreciate what you said, just adding to my thoughts.

What I think is happening is the judges especially, (with a mix of the commentators/announcers) and the events that used to be so open and inviting to ALL, are telling the Twins... you sold out. And we are going to make you pay for your success. You achieved something we all want and don't have, and we will make an example of you. You achieve success, you cannot come back to your roots, you will not accepted for your talent. Don't come back, period. It's sad and pathetic, the Twins work hard and love what they do.

Les twins should have won simple as that, they bring les twins to lose at every major battle and they dont let them ever win ,ive watched alot of battles and there were only a few they have won , seriously they are the best in the world.....straight facts
Irrespective of all the tension and wrong decisions made , this battle Larry won it period. Even in the third and fourth round , Larry was clearly better ,and even the crowd agreed. So y was the decision given to tight eyez. Clearly it was predecided.

There was a guy MC but also a girl and she was the one translating most of things said during the entire show. But yeah not that part. I was there and I forgot when it was (after the 3rd round I think), Larry threw the mic all the way up to where the judges were 😆 aaand it broke the mic so she couldn't use it anymore. But before that she could have translated, idk why she didn't.
That Kanon guy is stupid for saying that any dancer can interrupt their opponent.... they'll just judge whose better
Don't get confused Twins are still getting paid by these events, it's notable winning or losing, everyone knows they're the best, and everyone tunes in for them but u got to create buzz so u got to have them loose at times creates more controversy and publicity, twins are ok with it cause they are way bigger then these small events but they love dancing and battling, and they still getting paid so there no down side for them. Who else on that stage worked with Beyonce and Jason Durelo ? Just them. Lol they just go to these events cause they some real dudes so they go to show love and have fun

they just get invited to these events to try and make other dancers get a name for themselves off of Les Twins hard work and persistence these events should really stop doing this and Les Twins should not be supporting these events that are trying to harm their image.

Understand that Kanon says there's no rules against interrupting, the concept is freestyle; dancing on someone else's turn could be a tactic to add pressure and get in the head of your opponent, so it's neither right not wrong. Larry does it unintentionally but as was said Tight Eyex could have kept dancing. The MC here made it a thing which resulted in the whole confusion to then have it frowned upon to interrupt which isn't the case.

Yep he interrupted larry's round on purpose . Larry accidently cut tight eyez round and didnt noticed that tight eyez wasnt done dancing on the previous round. And i agree tight eyez is so childish at that point to interrupt the oppenent's round and its very disrespectful.

First thank you to LBF for translating and giving ideal information for this dilemma. Larry did not see Tight Eyez dancing, but Eyez already dance long enough, along with his partner dancing. I understand what Canon mean that the opponent can dance while the other person is freestyling, but you can't be full out and judge by hype! Then musicality and creativity is out the window! Respect the other dancer. Then it was a time that dancers were time and not time smh. Eyez was getting worse than the Les Twins too I must say. But really, these dance competitions that the Les Twins have been to has turn into politics and it's sad.
That's not the point, eyez and the twins weren't even supposed to battle each other in the semis in the first place

I love them both. Les twins are very diverse with their style. TightE and Miho are founders of Krump, so I assume that if you are to battle them, then it is a Krump battle. I think it was awesome, and as far as a Krump battle is concerned?...TE and Miho ripped this shit like they usually do....however, the diversity of Les Twins is UNCANNY, they can do so much more than krump, so in a way it's like two different styles clashing which ultimately makes it hard to judge as well...IDK...when it's 2 diff styles I think it is practically impossible to choose a winner....(like a rapper against a rock band) kind of hard to judge, NO?

But it's true she didn't here, I can't explain why 😅 Her mic was broken at one point (because Larry threw it all the way up where the judges were and it fell 😝) but not the entire time.
