God this takes me back to a weekend in Galway and this song was everywhere!! Even bought a handful of the singles in Golden Discs to give to mates in Belfast 😂
I’ll be there in Newcastle upon Tyne in England in on the 4th of November 2024 4 hours of sheer timeless tunes and dance music from way back there in the 90’s still kicking 30 years on and going strong in dance music and are fucking making my coke buzz fuking so euphoric that I could shie myself ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I always think it odd that Mark McCabe absolutely hates what this track did for him. Most artists dream of creating a track that could have such an impact on people, that will be played longer after we've all parted this world, yet he seems to hate it. He won't allow it on any streaming sites because I don't think he wants the attention, which I honestly think is a dick move and says a lot about what kind of man he is. This track has a special part in all irish peoples hearts and is being passed down from grandparents to grandchildren which is an amazing thing. Shame mark thinks so little of this! At least we have it on UA-cam!
Its quite simple. He thinks its shite. Doesnt want to be known as a one hit wonder either. He used to Rap over the music for Pirate radio “ Pulse FM “ i can understand why he doesnt like it
Was living in Dublin when this tune was out, playing in all the club’s bars, great times, good pills 💊 in Dublin. Quays, by the Liffey, that had banging sets played in there, forget the big hype around the big name Djs, these smaller ones was smashing it larger.
I’m Irish and this is the first time I heard this. 2024! I’m filing it under if you have nothing nice to say say nothing. Heard Mark on the radio this morning and he sounds like a great guy, but my God ……

He hasn’t managed to get it off SoundCloud though.
he raps over it but a tune by 4 Rhythm of Maniac from 1995. The original Maniacis an 80s tune. Look it is a tune. Fair play to all involved.
