      I imagine some A-list awesomeness of awesome performers, such as EG Jack Black, would have anonymous channels so they can interact with other genuine hobbyists without "Fans" clogging up the discussion.
      Anonymity - they need it

    I see you use "Wizards" products. Great stuff! I use it on all my vehicles, motorcycle and even the lawn mower.

    By any chance can armor all also help restore rubber on shoes? I have some old shoes that the rubber had harden but still can be saved.

    Good video. I have had some success using chrome colored spray paint. May work on the rusted up cover.

      I’ll definitely be using some “touch up” chrome on some parts for sure. Comes in handy! Finding a replacement points cover is proving to be a little harder than I thought. The one I have is pretty bad. We will see how it all sorts out.

      Gave the chrome spray a try. Not too bad of results. Thanks for the suggestion!

      Worth a shot. Wintergreen oil is also another option. People tell me about that all the time.

    I like the Armor All trick. I remember seeing on one of the Honda V4 forums about a concoction that someone came up with the rejuvenate the rubber on these old bikes, especially for the hardened carb boots. It really softens the rubber back up to like new. Did the Armor All soften it up as well?

    • @KeepOnWrenching
      @KeepOnWrenching  4 роки тому +1

      Absolutely. Soaking really helps. Not so much of you just rub it on.

      Use wintergreen oil to restore and soften hardened carb boots.

      You gotta maintain them for sure. I’m pretty meticulous about cleaning and keeping things protected. I guess it kind of a “do no harm” approach until I can afford to replace stuff. Plus, it is what it is. I love preserving these old bikes for better or worse and with what I can do at the time.
