Freakin awesome! I have the brother to your 57! I have the 56 sedan delivery, same color and shape. All the parts inside also! How cool!!! Can not to see what u do with it.
Excellent ride! My family (first my father, then my brothers) had a '57 Chev Sedan Delivery. It was originally a pea green color, radio delete and only had a seat for the driver (I understand most were equipped that way,I may be wrong).Six banger with a 3 on the tree.In the summer of '68 the old man and us brothers (mainly the old man) put a set of matching bucket seats in it and got a radio from a '58 Ford (LOL) and carpeted the rear section with some used wall-to-wall.We then brush painted it 2 tone, white over red.A few years later after my brothers ran the piss out of it, they sold it to a local guy who rolled it some time later. The guy who bought it after that restored it and it was in the 1975 or '76 (Baltimore Civic Center)World of Wheels custom car show.He had before and after pix of the car and I knew it used to belong to us.I have been trying to find the whereabouts of this vehicle for several years with no luck. Sorry to be rambling off like this, but the Sedan Delivery brought back a lot of good memories. With a LS motor in that thing it will be a true blast to drive!Good luck with your new love and drive the wheels off of it!!
Talked with a guy that lives about 3 miles from me a while back had a 1937 sedan delivery, 350, auto, very nice unique ride, told me there was only 3 titled in the u.s. ???
