I love it Marq. Thank you for sharing. Mum and Dad used to run the Alfriston Art Gallery. I was privileged to watch the grey mullet fish coming up on the tide from the white bridge at lunchtime.
Gorgeous seascape! Yeah, who needs Florida! That view of the cottages is somewhat iconic, just as you said. One day I'll get there myself! Love the accommodation! A shared bathroom is nothing. I lived in a bedsit for over 9 years sharing the bathroom but to have such a place to stay, even with a shared bathroom, is still a great opportunity. yes, that landscape is stunning. Once it infiltrates your heart you never forget it!
Lovely video Marq, haven’t been up there for a while, last time for a car picnic to celebrate my birthday one wet and cold February day with a walk to Cow Gap to watch the waves. Bracing!
A lovely place with amazing views! We used to go to Birling Gap but that whole area is gorgeous. Looking forward to Wilmington - somehow we missed that area with the Long Man! Thanks Marq. ( that mowing person must have your itinerary!)
What a lovely video Marq, and a beautiful place, one I've not been to but seen lots of photos of. Fantastic, and the weather was perfect for you. I love your quirky accommodation. At the end of this month we are staying in a shepherds hut. I can't wait. Thank you for sharing your adventures in Sussex; looking forward to the others yet to come 🥰
The home hills effect! Which is why I have a deep affection for the South Downs myself being born in Brighton. The main difference is the South Downs are much barer particularly in the east whilst the North Downs are much more wooded. Last time I went past the cottages they had the gardens open so it was great to have a nose around. I kept wondering if you wouid go right down to the beach and see the old cable hut on the east side of the cottages. Hope you took your head torch for night time visits to the toilet block!!
Beautiful!
Beautiful scenery such a lovely part of the world.Glad you shared.
You're welcome.

Thanks Jean and although as you say, The North Downs are more Wooded, it also passes through various Villages and the like.
That sounds lovely Jean having a nosey around the gardens. I feel the same about the South Downs 💚
Good Vid Wtg Marq
Thank you.
That's a lovely spot for a beach walk. We've done it many times.
My first but it was lovely.
You drove past the Chalk Horse at High and Over.
Jolly good :)
