The singer is actually capturing the song exactly as intended. It's supposed to have that punk energy and roughness. Not that you're supposed to like it or anything, of course. But yeah, it's pretty close to the studio vocals, despite some crackles here and there.

No real complaints from me with your score and opinions on it. You definitely hit on some of the points on why I submitted this song. This song definitely has a TON of energy (perfect workout music, IMO), and yes, the drummer deserves MAJOR props for how he absolutely killed on this track in a performance that could eve give Keith Moon a run for his money in terms of controlled chaos. But for me, one of the reason I love this track is, in fact, the vocals. Mostly because this is a punk song, and IMO, a super RAW one, very visceral and full of emotion, especially when you consider the lyrical content (which, since submitting this, I've learned you don't consider a whole lot when listening to songs). And in that sense, the vocals work for me. Plus I I personally REALLY connected to this song when I started listening to it as I was going through intense heartbreak, so someone shouting something like "can't you hear me I'm CALLING OUT YOUR NAME???" really resonated with me at the time, and IMO fits with the music perfectly.
So yeah, I'll definitely agree it might not be an "appropriate" vocal (I think that's the word you used?) in terms of vocal technique or anything. But I do think it's appropriate for the song, and tbh, just my two cents, punk rock should never be too "appropriate" anyway.
