If he keeps throwing the mental health card every time he has a bad gw in FPL people are going to react negatively . If these bad gws affect him that much maybe it's time to find a new area of work? Not everyone is cut out for the pressure of being out there. Ross doesn't seem like someone who handles things well. No idea why you think it is bitterness? I have nothing against him either way. I just think people with real reasons for bad mental health will get tired of him playing it over and over again every time a week doesn't go his way in a game he has little control over . I fully expect a block here but it's in his power. Just log out and avoid X after a bad gw if he can't handle it 😊
Wild card played! A few things I've learned in the last 3 games. 1 - Haaland and/or Salah is an absolute must. As we knew already. 2 - This year Liverpool defenders is going to be like Arsenal of last year. Meaning Trent is IN. Perhaps double up with Konate for easy double up Liverpool Defence 3 - Newcastle is struggling so they are all gone, including Isak, despite him scoring today. 4 - Must get in on that Liverpool front 3 between Diaz, Jota or Salah if you can afford it...I can't so it's between Diaz and Jota. 5 - Palmer playing central this season and seems undroppable and seem to play every game. 6 - With Toney gone, Mbeumo is a bargain Forward for 7mil that will play every game. But you got 9pts more than me this week without Haaland so what do I know! lol
With what you've said about Liverpool to be fair they only look really solid defensively as they have played Ipswich Brentford and a terrible Man United side that can't score so they haven't fully been tested yet, after all they do have the best opening fixtures out of every team in the opening 7. As for the Triple up in attack I would maybe squeeze Salah and Diaz in but not Jota as Jota will either be rotated out for Gakpo and Nunez or Slot will prefer him more in the Champions League or the inevitable Jota injury will occur so Jota is a no go long term for me. Also, as for Newcastle Gordon scored last week against Bournemouth and Isak scored this week too and will most likely continue to score moving forward, I would say it's still way way way way way too early to judge Newcastle just yet, I reckon they'll click into gear real soon. Everything else you said is pretty much spot on though😊

The thing a lot of nubes don’t know about the Raptor is that in season he took off he got to top 10 in the world. He got there because he takes risks where other content creators don’t. I don't play FPL (I play a Swedish fantasy game that's different in many ways) so your tips aren't always even applicable for me, but I watch your videos anyway because compared to other fpl content creators yours are wholesome, humble, really analytical and just great to listen to.
Ross you are so right. Being aware of where they are in their life's journey will help you cope and understand why they take their frustrations on you. Like all of us, this has become an escapism from our busy lives, and when it goes wrong, it hurts. 90 Points all out.....I planned for the first 3 GWs and what a start....but GW4 WC is active, now time to plan for the rest of the year. Top 13K rank......What I have noticed it doesn't matter if you went Haaland only or Salah only or both.....it really depends on the rest of your team setup.

Watkins is giving me a headache. Losing minutes (with Duran smashing it) and missing chances. Dropping in price but happy to hold. Just need him to start firing
I have him too, dw he will come good as the fixtures ahead are absolutely fantastic and if he still doesn't do anything after the Ipswich game then I'd probably avoid him for the rest of the season tbh as he won't be a reliable option to gain points moving forward, but for now just wait it out even Eze and Isak took a bit of time and he's still getting his fitness back so I'd say those 60 Min subs will soon become 70-75 minute subs going forward.

@@aurhan1311 Yeah the price rises are crazy out of control right now I've never seen them this quick before it's crazy, the creators of the game need to find a way to tone it down or something. I had Haaland in my team last week for Ipswich as I Triple Captained him and my plan was to Wildcard Haaland out of my team and get Watkins in cause he has a good run of fixtures in the next 3 games and Haaland has Newcastle and Arsenal coming up and my plan was to downgrade Salah in GW7 to a 5.5 mil midfielder so that I would have 7 mil in the bank so I can easily get back up to Haaland in GW7 but what's worrying me now is Watkins has just gone down in price and Haaland is already 15.2 mil it's absolutely crazy! I still think the teams without him can outscore him in the longrun though as 6 mil extra from Watkins to Haaland goes a long way in your team, also I don't think Haaland will shoot up too much in price in the future as 15 mil is a lot for people to get to and now that's he's more than 15 mil some people will already be priced out of getting to him.
Yeah, Haaland is too hard to fit in. I dunno if I would go Palmer though, that palace game was his best fixture. Bowen could easily match him considering how fixture proof he tends to be
Hi Ross. Enjoyed the vid. I too have a Salah only team. Unfortunately, I captained Palmer AND benched Joao Pedro! Dropped from 100k to 500k. Also just the one transfer with 3.5m in bank. I much prefer a balanced squad and been looking at upgrading Wood or bringing in the likes of Eze, Mbeumo & Semenyo rather than selling Saka or Palmer just to get Halaand in. His form is unreal, but the plan was always to counter his form with a balanced squad.
My personal advice, if you are going to wildcard this week then wildcard before the price changes tonight. Pick assets which are likely to rise (look at FPL price predictor sites) as you can likely make up any losses (still need £0.2m price rise per player) as the international game week is coming up meaning you can capitalise on 2 weeks of price changes. You also don't have to worry about injuries as all transfers would be free making it even easier to get rid of players. If you do it well, you might end up with £0.2-0.3m+ in the kitty which could go a long way to buying players you want.
I also have accepted that going with only one of salah/haland was the wrong move. So I'm taking -4 hit in GW4 to have both in my team. Really glad seeing you thinking the same. Thanks for the confidence boost Ross.

Gone against my better judgement of no early transfers (especially over international break) and made 3 last night…… Saved up 3 free transfers and took out Bruno, Isak and Gibbs-White, for Rogers, Joao Pedro and Salah. Now on both Haaland and Salah and my team looks insane for GW4, so just hoping no one gets injured over the break…
Keep up the good work Raptor. I went Haaland and Salah from GW1 and doing well but the fun in FPL is changing and adapting throughout the season and going against the sheep at times.
The problem with the Rice yellow is at least 10 other players have 'delayed the restart' today alone and not been given a yellow card. It's ridiculous and it's what leads fans to believe some refs are corrupt / biased.
@@11tokajj it means it wouldn’t have changed the game…? Rice kicking it away on a second yellow is forcing the ref to make a decision and the ref was correct. Pedro would have just got a first yellow and wouldn’t have changed the game too much. Feel like arsenal fans are clutching at straws tbh

Yep! It seems that whichever one you don't own is killing you. I'm on the Haaland / No Salah and considering Saka & Isak for Salah & J Pedro - I've 3 transfers and can currently do it with 0.3m to spare, I dont want to rush it but everyones going to be looking at this and I know fine well I'll be priced out if I dont move quickly. Once we get to GW 6 I know I'll be struggling to squeeze an Arsenal attacker as well. The joys of FPL :)
I already used my 2 free transfers: to avoid a Bailey price drop I sold him and got Minteh and I also sold Muniz to get Joao Pedro. Bailey is injured anyways and a minutes risk & for future transfers I can't afford too many price drops so I moved early. Joao Pedro isnt on international duty so I hope nothing happens to him, but I also wanted to avoid another price rise from him before I brought him in. Hope both him & Minteh make it through the break without injuries 😬
My dilemma is I've got Amad who worked as my short term punt but now I'm stuck with him. I can swap him directly for Diaz, or can go Saka -> Salah. I've got the funds. Problem is if I go for Salah, I'm then stuck with an inconsistent Amad with 0.3 in the bank.
Hello Ross, Great video once again. I would recommend Cannon to Joao Pedro. At the basics of FPL, the objective is to find undervalued assets; which Joao Pedro undoubtedly is. On the not owning Haaland - you’ve got to pick a strategy and stick to it. Haaland only teams have been super lucky that mid price assets have been underwhelming - Watkins, Bruno, Odegaard etc which has meant you buying budget players (Muniz) who Haaland teams have access to. If you’re sticking to the non-haaland strategy then you’ve gotta differentiate yourself from the Haaland teams. You’ve gotta have a team that Haaland owners are unable to get to with Haaland which you do not currently have. So in a nutshell get the differential between Haaland and Salah to work for you rather than keeping the money in the bank. And yes I agree with you - I cannot fathom how FPL Harry gets sooo lucky. How does Eze get a price drop and score the week he brings him in. Come on!!!
Harry spot on with the game 👌 also I have eze from the start and knew he has been unlucky to not have points on board and they were coming and Chelsea are dodgy at the back so felt like a good time to have him with good fixtures coming 👍
My team is similar and with 2FT. I am planning Muniz to JP and Saka to Palmer to attack the fixtures and stay locked till GW6. Plan to keep backing against the Norwegian
I’m doing terrible in my mini league, I’m last😢 so I think something has to change due to me doing bad each week so far, so I’ve activated my wildcard, is it risky due to international break in terms of momentum of players, for example doing well atm could turn bad and vice versa?
I have Haaland, and was considering Isak to Pedro and Fernandes up to Salah for free... But I'll be priced out very soon. Fernandes and Isak will fall again, and Pedro and Salah will rise again... Its move now and risk the international break or move never
Captained palmer unfortunately. Got 72 points when i could have got 83 from captaining Salah. I guess the big question is Haaland + Salah or Saka + Salah + Palmer.

I would keep Saka. He's delivered 4 returns in 3 games. Could have easily had a goal in the last game. With a leaky Spurs defence up next? He's a must for me.

Hey Ross, love the video and I just had a suggestion/idea. Ross, if you played the wild card now and got your Arsenal assets out of your team to fit in Halaand and then you have 3 free transfers when GW6 rolls around and you can bring in a Havertz, Saka and maybe Raya/Gabriel. Just an opinion.
I'm considering two similar options to yours. Saka to Palmer (free) ... or Gordon to Palmer & Mateta to Joao Pedro (-4). Gordon and Mateta have both been underperforming for three games, and despite the -4 hit, the double transfer would allow me to keep Saka and recruit Palmer. It's only 4 points to build a much stronger team
People are sleeping on Wilson odebert playing 70-80 mins for spurs at 5.5 mil is crazy value , have a feeling he could replace Madison in the 10 at some point as well
Your option 2 is close to my G4 plan - except I'm keeping Saka, transferring Gordon to Palmer & Mateta to Joao Pedro. Haaland? Two tough fixtures coming up, and as we know, he's injury prone. If he keeps banging in hat tricks, I'll Wildcard him in later, but for now I'm happy with Salah, Saka & Palmer
Saka -> Palmer and close the browser window for 2 weeks. don't ditch Isak before Wolves, don't take hits when Haaland has ARS and NEW away in the next 3 weeks (plus potential CL mins issues). Pedro is far from essential. your team is fine. (and i say this as a Salah/Haaland guy who just brought in Pedro, top 60k rn.) get Haaland after NEW.
Me scratching my head on how Ross can possibly afford to swap Saka->Mitoma and Isak -> Haaland. I had muniz in gw1 but swiftly got rid in gw3, fulham are in the bottom 4 for both expected goals and big chances created and considering the “easier” fixtures they’ve had, smith rowe and muniz are a sell imo, could make a case for robinson though
I used to play FPL cus I was pretty good at it. Now I play to see how every decision I make is the wrong one and how horrible I am. At least gives me a reason to wake up wildly early on the weekends. Cheers all
Used my 2FT and did nkuku to Rogers and Henderson to Martinez and benched wood. Had I done nothing and banked another transfer (and eaten nkuku price drops) I would've been 13pts better off 😅 Still 85pts and a green arrow to 400k OR so can't complain too much.
For me, if you’re going to make transfers, do it. Not Saka to Palmer sideways moves, rip it up with 2 big moves if you believe the upside is there long term. Worked for me so far, top 50k or so.
I don't have Haaland, but still managed a green arrow this week despite also benching Bernardo and Rico Lewis - I think the bigger issue for your team at the moment is having no City at all, so when Haaland returns you don't have the cover of a potential assist, etc. If you're moving to Haaland, I think I'd be more tempted to Wildcard so you can also get Palmer and the others you want. International break always a good time to play the chip too. Looking at your other options, I don't personally think taking Saka out is the solution, as I'm already looking ahead to bringing him in GW6 when Arsenal's fixtures turn - so feels too short term. Think either wildcard to get a Palmer/Haaland/Salah draft or just bring in Joao Pedro on the free for now.

Great content, Ross, and the start of the year had been so exciting FPL-wise. I think once you factor in the hit and whether you’ll captain EH it might no be worth it 🙈🙊🙉 Probably something will happen anyhow during the international break and all plans will be 🚮
Feels like Salah = Haaland for points, if the first three games predict the seasonal pattern. I'm happy to save 2.5+ million & keep Salah, allowing me to have a much stronger team - including Saka & Palmer.
i think this is a season of mids and defenders...get in haaland and salah and get all the premium defenders...alexander arnold,pedro poro,gvradiol or lewis (if he can be a regular),and an arsenal defender (preferably white..although he hasn't delivered attacking returns yet but I think its a matter of time he starts delivering big as he gets in such forward positions)...and build the rest of the team around them
What I've learned from the past 3 gw, following someone else advice isn't always a good thing, i have been do my own research for gw 2-3, i got solid soucek:8pts in gw2 and onana:9pts in gw 3 as differential, and of course enjoying massive return having halland, salah, saka as a core squad. Plus having isak and jao pedro as the secondary points getters Goodluck for everyone that following 'the expert' advice to bought nkuku, muniz, rogers 🤣
I still stick with idea, 15m is too much and feel stable with Salah only. If Salah and Haaland didn't score, I still have other assets that could cover for decent points. Now i need to hang on for another 2 or 3 games b4 before desperately bring Haaland. I do have 4m in bank coz i don't invest on DEF n GK.

Hey Ross great content as always. In your position I think the best option for you is to sell Jota for Palmer. This allows you another week to decide on Saka and or Isak.
After terrible GW2 and 3 I've gone for WC, OUT - Watkins, Muniz, Gordon, Jota, Rogers, Gvardiol, TAA, Mykolenko and Andersen. IN - Haaland, Pedro, Sinisterra, Diaz, Onana, Aina, Konate, Digne and Lewis. I took out TAA and Watkins so I could afford to bring in Haaland. Team now looks like this DEF - Konate, Lewis, Digne - MID - Onana, Diaz, Salah(C), Eze - FWD - Haaland, Pedro, Isak SUBS - Turner, Porro, Sinisterta and Aina.

My thoughts on the Rice 2nd yellow was that it's a ridiculous decision. We've seen around a dozen examples this week of the same thing being unpunished in a world where refs tend to be more lenient when players are already on a yellow (whilst I don't think they should be, that's the world we live in)
I was too 100k in the 1st GW1…. Even though I did well… what did I do? I saw that City had 3 home games in 4 gameweeks!! I PLAYED MY WC WITHOUT EVEN THINKING!! (I brought in 3 Liverpool players and 3 City players) It was the right thing to do!! and now I’m sitting in top 10k
There is 4 ways to play FPL this season:- 1)Team with BOTH Salah and Haaland 2)Team with NEITHER Salah or Haaland 3)Team with JUST Haat 4)Team with JUST Salah
Ross, don't be driven by the lure of owning an 8th attacker for now. Most of us are going to wildcard in the next 2-3 weeks anyway so we can take care of that then. Just do saka to palmer this week and don't think about haaland for a couple of weeks. I don't think you're going to regret it especially considering the other decent captaincy options available to you in the next couple of weeks.
evening Ross and everybody, Got gordon this week and 2 transfers. original plan was Roger’s and palmer in for gordon and eze/jota. Can’t seem to justify dropping jota or eze this week and gordon has wolves.
You don’t need Haaland. He will not score 3 every week and if he doesn’t, the non-Haaland teams will outperform on average. Not sure I love the idea of getting a stronger attacker. I feel like if you’re not going Haaland, the more money pumped into the first 11, the more likely you are to take advantage.
Option 4, absolutely no need for a hit with your current team and Saka could easily match Palmer over the next two and you'll 100% want him back from GW6 onwards

Not sure why Saka out is a thing? Arsenal fixtures are a bout to turn and Haaland is not going to score 3 goals every game. I'd hold and upgrade Muniz to Havertz or even Watkins. Watkins will have 2 weeks of training to get fit and his fixtures look great for the next 5-6 games

We're only 3 games into a 38 game season...I wouldn't make all these conclusions too early

I don't play FPL (I play a Swedish fantasy game that's different in many ways) so your tips aren't always even applicable for me, but I watch your videos anyway because compared to other fpl content creators yours are wholesome, humble, really analytical and just great to listen to.

Like all of us, this has become an escapism from our busy lives, and when it goes wrong, it hurts. I do think WC this week to set your team then banking transfers to GW6 and future fixture swings is a viable strategy this week
90 Points all out.....I planned for the first 3 GWs and what a start....but GW4 WC is active, now time to plan for the rest of the year. Top 13K rank......What I have noticed it doesn't matter if you went Haaland only or Salah only or both.....it really depends on the rest of your team setup.
I caved, used the wildcard. Brought in any potential price rise increases, now I wait for them all to get injured and remove them later.

Watkins is giving me a headache. Losing minutes (with Duran smashing it) and missing chances. Dropping in price but happy to hold. Just need him to start firing
I have him too, dw he will come good as the fixtures ahead are absolutely fantastic and if he still doesn't do anything after the Ipswich game then I'd probably avoid him for the rest of the season tbh as he won't be a reliable option to gain points moving forward, but for now just wait it out even Eze and Isak took a bit of time and he's still getting his fitness back so I'd say those 60 Min subs will soon become 70-75 minute subs going forward.

@@aurhan1311 Yeah the price rises are crazy out of control right now I've never seen them this quick before it's crazy, the creators of the game need to find a way to tone it down or something. I had Haaland in my team last week for Ipswich as I Triple Captained him and my plan was to Wildcard Haaland out of my team and get Watkins in cause he has a good run of fixtures in the next 3 games and Haaland has Newcastle and Arsenal coming up and my plan was to downgrade Salah in GW7 to a 5.5 mil midfielder so that I would have 7 mil in the bank so I can easily get back up to Haaland in GW7 but what's worrying me now is Watkins has just gone down in price and Haaland is already 15.2 mil it's absolutely crazy! I still think the teams without him can outscore him in the longrun though as 6 mil extra from Watkins to Haaland goes a long way in your team, also I don't think Haaland will shoot up too much in price in the future as 15 mil is a lot for people to get to and now that's he's more than 15 mil some people will already be priced out of getting to him.
Keep your tactic. Haaland is not doing hattricks every week. Use the funds on palmer and an eight attacker.

Hi Ross. Enjoyed the vid. I too have a Salah only team. Unfortunately, I captained Palmer AND benched Joao Pedro! Dropped from 100k to 500k. Also just the one transfer with 3.5m in bank. I much prefer a balanced squad and been looking at upgrading Wood or bringing in the likes of Eze, Mbeumo & Semenyo rather than selling Saka or Palmer just to get Halaand in. His form is unreal, but the plan was always to counter his form with a balanced squad.
My personal advice, if you are going to wildcard this week then wildcard before the price changes tonight. Pick assets which are likely to rise (look at FPL price predictor sites) as you can likely make up any losses (still need £0.2m price rise per player) as the international game week is coming up meaning you can capitalise on 2 weeks of price changes. You also don't have to worry about injuries as all transfers would be free making it even easier to get rid of players. If you do it well, you might end up with £0.2-0.3m+ in the kitty which could go a long way to buying players you want.
I also have accepted that going with only one of salah/haland was the wrong move. So I'm taking -4 hit in GW4 to have both in my team.

Gone against my better judgement of no early transfers (especially over international break) and made 3 last night…… Saved up 3 free transfers and took out Bruno, Isak and Gibbs-White, for Rogers, Joao Pedro and Salah. Now on both Haaland and Salah and my team looks insane for GW4, so just hoping no one gets injured over the break…

The problem with the Rice yellow is at least 10 other players have 'delayed the restart' today alone and not been given a yellow card. It's ridiculous and it's what leads fans to believe some refs are corrupt / biased.

Yep! It seems that whichever one you don't own is killing you. I'm on the Haaland / No Salah and considering Saka & Isak for Salah & J Pedro - I've 3 transfers and can currently do it with 0.3m to spare, I dont want to rush it but everyones going to be looking at this and I know fine well I'll be priced out if I dont move quickly. Once we get to GW 6 I know I'll be struggling to squeeze an Arsenal attacker as well. The joys of FPL :)
I already used my 2 free transfers: to avoid a Bailey price drop I sold him and got Minteh and I also sold Muniz to get Joao Pedro. Bailey is injured anyways and a minutes risk & for future transfers I can't afford too many price drops so I moved early. Joao Pedro isnt on international duty so I hope nothing happens to him, but I also wanted to avoid another price rise from him before I brought him in. Hope both him & Minteh make it through the break without injuries 😬

My dilemma is I've got Amad who worked as my short term punt but now I'm stuck with him. I can swap him directly for Diaz, or can go Saka -> Salah. I've got the funds.
Problem is if I go for Salah, I'm then stuck with an inconsistent Amad with 0.3 in the bank.
I have almost the same team. Only differebces are palmer for Jota, Joao Pedro for Cannon and 2 4.0 defenders on the bench

I would recommend Cannon to Joao Pedro. At the basics of FPL, the objective is to find undervalued assets; which Joao Pedro undoubtedly is.
On the not owning Haaland - you’ve got to pick a strategy and stick to it. Haaland only teams have been super lucky that mid price assets have been underwhelming - Watkins, Bruno, Odegaard etc which has meant you buying budget players (Muniz) who Haaland teams have access to.
If you’re sticking to the non-haaland strategy then you’ve gotta differentiate yourself from the Haaland teams. You’ve gotta have a team that Haaland owners are unable to get to with Haaland which you do not currently have.
So in a nutshell get the differential between Haaland and Salah to work for you rather than keeping the money in the bank.
And yes I agree with you - I cannot fathom how FPL Harry gets sooo lucky. How does Eze get a price drop and score the week he brings him in. Come on!!!
Harry spot on with the game 👌 also I have eze from the start and knew he has been unlucky to not have points on board and they were coming and Chelsea are dodgy at the back so felt like a good time to have him with good fixtures coming 👍

My team is similar and with 2FT. I am planning Muniz to JP and Saka to Palmer to attack the fixtures and stay locked till GW6. Plan to keep backing against the Norwegian

Can't do it anymore he's priced out of the move as Havertz is now 8.1 million in price, unless he downgrades somewhere else in his squad.

I’m doing terrible in my mini league, I’m last😢 so I think something has to change due to me doing bad each week so far, so I’ve activated my wildcard, is it risky due to international break in terms of momentum of players, for example doing well atm could turn bad and vice versa?
I have Haaland, and was considering Isak to Pedro and Fernandes up to Salah for free... But I'll be priced out very soon. Fernandes and Isak will fall again, and Pedro and Salah will rise again... Its move now and risk the international break or move never

Ross, if you played the wild card now and got your Arsenal assets out of your team to fit in Halaand and then you have 3 free transfers when GW6 rolls around and you can bring in a Havertz, Saka and maybe Raya/Gabriel.
Just an opinion.
I'm considering two similar options to yours. Saka to Palmer (free) ... or Gordon to Palmer & Mateta to Joao Pedro (-4). Gordon and Mateta have both been underperforming for three games, and despite the -4 hit, the double transfer would allow me to keep Saka and recruit Palmer. It's only 4 points to build a much stronger team
People are sleeping on Wilson odebert playing 70-80 mins for spurs at 5.5 mil is crazy value , have a feeling he could replace Madison in the 10 at some point as well

Your option 2 is close to my G4 plan - except I'm keeping Saka, transferring Gordon to Palmer & Mateta to Joao Pedro.
Haaland? Two tough fixtures coming up, and as we know, he's injury prone.
If he keeps banging in hat tricks, I'll Wildcard him in later, but for now I'm happy with Salah, Saka & Palmer
I think selling Saka is fine as long as you’re locked in for wildcarding in gw6 or booking a transfer to get him for their fixture swing
Saka -> Palmer and close the browser window for 2 weeks. don't ditch Isak before Wolves, don't take hits when Haaland has ARS and NEW away in the next 3 weeks (plus potential CL mins issues). Pedro is far from essential. your team is fine. (and i say this as a Salah/Haaland guy who just brought in Pedro, top 60k rn.) get Haaland after NEW.

I had muniz in gw1 but swiftly got rid in gw3, fulham are in the bottom 4 for both expected goals and big chances created and considering the “easier” fixtures they’ve had, smith rowe and muniz are a sell imo, could make a case for robinson though
I used to play FPL cus I was pretty good at it. Now I play to see how every decision I make is the wrong one and how horrible I am. At least gives me a reason to wake up wildly early on the weekends. Cheers all
Used my 2FT and did nkuku to Rogers and Henderson to Martinez and benched wood. Had I done nothing and banked another transfer (and eaten nkuku price drops) I would've been 13pts better off 😅

For me, if you’re going to make transfers, do it. Not Saka to Palmer sideways moves, rip it up with 2 big moves if you believe the upside is there long term. Worked for me so far, top 50k or so.
Would you start Rodgers or Soucek who has been good? Also Pau or Kilman on defense?
I don't have Haaland, but still managed a green arrow this week despite also benching Bernardo and Rico Lewis - I think the bigger issue for your team at the moment is having no City at all, so when Haaland returns you don't have the cover of a potential assist, etc. If you're moving to Haaland, I think I'd be more tempted to Wildcard so you can also get Palmer and the others you want. International break always a good time to play the chip too.
Looking at your other options, I don't personally think taking Saka out is the solution, as I'm already looking ahead to bringing him in GW6 when Arsenal's fixtures turn - so feels too short term.
Think either wildcard to get a Palmer/Haaland/Salah draft or just bring in Joao Pedro on the free for now.

Feels like Salah = Haaland for points, if the first three games predict the seasonal pattern. I'm happy to save 2.5+ million & keep Salah, allowing me to have a much stronger team - including Saka & Palmer.
i think this is a season of mids and defenders...get in haaland and salah and get all the premium defenders...alexander arnold,pedro poro,gvradiol or lewis (if he can be a regular),and an arsenal defender (preferably white..although he hasn't delivered attacking returns yet but I think its a matter of time he starts delivering big as he gets in such forward positions)...and build the rest of the team around them
What I've learned from the past 3 gw, following someone else advice isn't always a good thing, i have been do my own research for gw 2-3, i got solid soucek:8pts in gw2 and onana:9pts in gw 3 as differential, and of course enjoying massive return having halland, salah, saka as a core squad. Plus having isak and jao pedro as the secondary points getters

Hey Ross great content as always. In your position I think the best option for you is to sell Jota for Palmer. This allows you another week to decide on Saka and or Isak.
After terrible GW2 and 3 I've gone for WC, OUT - Watkins, Muniz, Gordon, Jota, Rogers, Gvardiol, TAA, Mykolenko and Andersen. IN - Haaland, Pedro, Sinisterra, Diaz, Onana, Aina, Konate, Digne and Lewis. I took out TAA and Watkins so I could afford to bring in Haaland. Team now looks like this DEF - Konate, Lewis, Digne - MID - Onana, Diaz, Salah(C), Eze - FWD - Haaland, Pedro, Isak SUBS - Turner, Porro, Sinisterta and Aina.

My thoughts on the Rice 2nd yellow was that it's a ridiculous decision. We've seen around a dozen examples this week of the same thing being unpunished in a world where refs tend to be more lenient when players are already on a yellow (whilst I don't think they should be, that's the world we live in)
I was too 100k in the 1st GW1…. Even though I did well… what did I do? I saw that City had 3 home games in 4 gameweeks!! I PLAYED MY WC WITHOUT EVEN THINKING!! (I brought in 3 Liverpool players and 3 City players)

Choosing Isak and Saka over Salah in weeks 1 and 3 has felt so painful... finished 17k last season and currently sat ~4mil 😭
Ross, don't be driven by the lure of owning an 8th attacker for now. Most of us are going to wildcard in the next 2-3 weeks anyway so we can take care of that then. Just do saka to palmer this week and don't think about haaland for a couple of weeks. I don't think you're going to regret it especially considering the other decent captaincy options available to you in the next couple of weeks.
evening Ross and everybody, Got gordon this week and 2 transfers. original plan was Roger’s and palmer in for gordon and eze/jota. Can’t seem to justify dropping jota or eze this week and gordon has wolves.

You don’t need Haaland. He will not score 3 every week and if he doesn’t, the non-Haaland teams will outperform on average. Not sure I love the idea of getting a stronger attacker. I feel like if you’re not going Haaland, the more money pumped into the first 11, the more likely you are to take advantage.

Option 4, absolutely no need for a hit with your current team and Saka could easily match Palmer over the next two and you'll 100% want him back from GW6 onwards

Not sure why Saka out is a thing? Arsenal fixtures are a bout to turn and Haaland is not going to score 3 goals every game. I'd hold and upgrade Muniz to Havertz or even Watkins. Watkins will have 2 weeks of training to get fit and his fixtures look great for the next 5-6 games
What do you guys think of fulhams Andersen signing? Will he play anytime soon. I had a hope he'd start in GW3, but i was wrong. Thoughts on him for gw4 vs westham?
