Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the functionality and technical aspects of the adjustable cheek weld and length of pull. I went through about fifty videos before I found this production which finally addressed this issue. Stay strong, Boston
Nice video mate. You mentioned you were unsure as to why anyone would make a rifle stock with a flat base. If you are shooting off a bag base it allows an inline recoil path to improve accuracy (f class shooting is a good example). Also if you were shooting prone in the field with a bipod an incline stock base can give you a great degree of adjustment with your support hand (elevation).
Awesome stock, I own one for my Sauer 202. The only improvement I would wish to have is just on the cheek and butt adjustments: to extract the bolt cheek piece needs to come out and here is where - in a field situation - the spring and the button can fly away. Done that couple of times - my bad - and ended up searching in the grass. No biggie but something to keep in mind as not to do. Thinking to a trick to keep them attached somehow to the stock in a lanyard fashion - a bit of fishing wire perhaps will do the trick Otherwise very solid and comfortable stock to shoot - hunting or target - well done GRS, Tack!
and a solution is found: the spring is now secured to the bottom of the button recursion inlet by using a thin layer of glass silicone. Simple, cheap and reversible
How exactly is the Monopod attached on the straight part of the rear of the stock? Since the sling swivel is placed on the rear side of the stock. Thank you.
Hi! I have a 243 Browning X-Bolt with that awesome GRS Stock, Harris Bipod, a Nikon Monarch3 4/16X50 Side focus and a Hausken carbon fiber silencer. You know what? For long range, the 6mm cartridge is a winner... I shoot 100 to 105 Grs bullets at 100 to 300m actually, i'm dying to try it up to a 1000 meter range... From France, Philippe. (Yes, we also have guns). 🇫🇷🎯🇫🇷.
About the length of the buttstock, while it may not be a massive issue in New Zealand or Australia or what have you, in places where there's a cold-as-balls winter, you'll want to have a shorter stock for winter, since you're wearing more clothing then, and a longer one for summer.
Hello, thanks for the video. I have the same grs stock for my x-bolt they are really nice. Can you tell me where i can get this monopod? Is it a grs accessory or you can add any monopod? Thanks have a great day

They are a very nice stock system, Personally useless to me as i find the vertical "pistol grip" very uncomfortable and unnatural. Other than that i would own one.
Grs Stocks are not great. I don't know about laminate but my regular synthetic is garbage. They even told me the stocks are supposed to have movement. Don't buy one!!

Thank you for the detailed review. There are not a lot of reviews on this exact stock and you made things clear for me on several points.
Yeah for the very best results your advised to bed the action.
I have the synthetic "Berserk" stock on my Savage 10 GRS. A superb stock, very comfortable
*Finally, a functional stock that looks right.* *Thanks for the heads up!*

Some rear stock is needed to sit in a bag.

Hi Good review nice looking Rifle, could you please tell me the colour , is it the Nordic Wolf or the black. Thanks
I like the stock colour you have.
Nice review! I am looking to get one for an Anschutz 1712.
B Davis that would be a nice set up.
Great review! Got interested in the monopod. What is the make and model? How is it attached to the stock?
I see this comes late but it is an AccuShot monopod by B & T Industries, seems like the standard height.

Just any 1 inch pic rail would be fine

What does GRS MEAN
What adapter have you used to mount your Harris style bipod?
Very informative video mate. I’m going to order a similar one for my Howa LA today. Can you please share the details of monopod at the back?
I see this comes late but it is an AccuShot monopod by B & T Industries, seems like the standard height.
Really good review!!
HI This GRS STOCK IS SPORTING MODEL OR HUNTING ? Nice. Presentation anyway thank you.
Sporting.
Name of the colour....?
30-second leader is a bit much.
Hi,do you have beding on this stock?
No bedding was required the action fitted perfect
What is the colour/name of this stock? We seem to have a very limited range of finishes here in uk.
It looks like the Sporter in black
GRS Sporter/Varminter a little different from the Sporter, wider fore end and a bit more of a cut-out in the butt.
Amigo tudo bem? Qual o nome específico desse mono pé que é preso na parte de trás?
Excelent vídeo 👍🏻

Have to completely disagree, had mine about 4yrs, rock solid, no-flex and has tightened groups of my vanguard 2 (.223) best £300 spent. Regards
