Hope Harley reads the comments here. I found Thrashin videos long before I purchased my FXLRST in November. I was able to follow this build from start to finish through the Thrashin Videos. It was one of the first things we saw when we arrived at the rally in Deadwood. Seeing this amazing build in person directly influenced the direction of my own ST. I was also able to demo an ST with the 131 engine installed in Sturgis. My ST is well on its way now with an SE 131, SE Tuner, and SE Ohlins on order (backordered). Of course its got plenty of Thrashin parts too. This type of marketing works and makes me excited to be part of the community. I had ridden sport bikes for 20 years. Had I known how Harley embraced the performance side of customization, I might have been on a Harley years ago.
A big reason the Low Rider ST came to be was thanks to the Success of Matt Laidlaw's Coast Glide. Harley listened and produced the ST. Big win. There is an LRST in my garage now ;)

Lance and Juan are THE dynamic due of collaborating on the numbers (Juan) and the "feel" (Lance). Either way, HD chose the right team to work on the Low Rider ST project - they hit it out of the park! For those that comment why doesn't HD make a bike like this from the factory - go look at the money Thrashin spent on some of the individual parts (Titanium swing arm $5K, Custom Ohlins front inverted forks - $5K, Carbon Fiber wheels from South Africa, 131 HD Crate engine, etc. etc. etc) There would not be a big enough market to mass produce this for the number they'd have to sell bc the price would be way out of reach for so many. It's nice to dream though!
